Chapter 55. No Caring

Meanwhile, at Locke's residence in Armelin.

"Hey,"

Mai was sweeping on the terrace floor around the front yard, when she suddenly felt called upon by someone. A horse walked into the grounds of Locke's residence and approached Mai. The servant girl looked at the figure that was riding on the saddle of the horse, and at once also remembered what happened a few months ago.

David Sanders, secretary of the Duke Eckart residence. The man casually came and approached Mai after getting off his horse. The servant girl's face was red instantly.

"Haha!" David chuckles at Mai's words. Then his hand shook the girl.

"My name is David, of the Viscount Sanders family. You can ask me anything, but I'll answer later, 2 more days, after we're done from the theater."

The usually flat-faced, expressionless man was now laughing at Mai's nervous behavior. And the girl also admitted that David's laughter was very rarely seen it made him look so handsome in Mai's eyes.

The man in front of Mai immediately smiled. "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow."

Mai also looked at David's back on the saddle of the horse which was getting further and further away from her visibility. His face was still flushed. The girl pinched her own cheek. He felt pain.

It was not a dream, he thought.

"Miss, can I ask permission to leave the day after tomorrow?"

Mai asked her mistress with a slight nervousness. Elona looked at him in wonder.

"Maybe.. but with whom?" ask Elona. Rarely did he see his maid of honor have a red face like this.

Louis was completely shocked when facing such an angry Elona.

Hearing that, Elona chuckled, making the black-haired man astonished to see her.

"Why?" asked Louis curiously. Elona stopped her laughter.
