Chapter 59. Halfheartedly

"Kiara?! Why are you here??"

Louis looked so surprised when he saw the figure of a girl close to him for the past year. The figure he asked to wait for an answer would be his heart's choice in the capital. The man never expected that Kiara would catch up with him to the southern end of Armelin City.

Kiara saw the scene that was about to happen between Louis and Elona right before her eyes. The girl ran up to the two of them by lifting the end of her dress while crying.

Kiara stopped her steps right in front of Louis who was still flabbergasted by the girl's recklessness. While still continuing to sob, Kiara looked at Louis with pushy eyes.

"I've been waiting for you for a month I've been waiting for you, but you're not coming back. I'm worried, Louis... but it turns out that you're here enjoying your time with her and forgetting me..."

Kiara pointed at Elona who had been silent watching everything.

"But I told you I'd give you my answer after I was sure. Why are you following me?!" louis said he did not think.

"I can't! I tried to be patient, but thinking that you could choose Elona later, I couldn't wait any longer..."

Kiara was still drowning in her cries. Then, he grabbed Louis by the hand and grabbed him. The girl looked at Louis with pushy eyes and said, "Please, choose me. Hiks... because I'll make you love me completely later.but choose me!"

Louis was surprised by Kiara's statement. Quickly, he pulled his hand held by Kiara to escape.

"But my heart has chosen Elona..." Louis said in a hesitant tone knowing that it would hurt Kiara even more deeply afterwards.

Kiara looked at the man's eyes with a look of disbelief. Louis said sorry again.

"No!!" Kiara covered her ears with her hands, a sign that she would not listen to Louis say more about something even more painful. The girl also closed her eyes tightly because she did not want to see the reality that was happening at this moment.

"It can't be like this!! This doesn't fit the story line! You should be with me and not him! It's been my struggle all this time in this world!"

Kiara yelled out the ambush. He was so lost control of his speech because he was so hit. And it was heard by Tara who was in Elona's mind at the moment.

Tara was clueless, but she thought hard. During this time, Tara always wondered if there might be someone else who moved into this fantasy world besides her. And Kiara's statement just gave her a bright spot.

Quickly, Elona extended her hand before Louis. At that instant, his face was smashed by the hard slap of the girl. Elona's eyes flashed with a fierce anger. And Louis almost lost his balance because of it.

"Elona...?" Louis looked at Elona in confusion. His cheeks were still hot and flushed from the slap.

"It turns out you haven't changed!" eloan said with shouting and roaring breath. Tears fell on both of her cheeks.

"You made Kiara wait for your answer?! What kind of a man are you, who would play a woman like that? You think we're stuff, which if you're bored and then just replaced, huh?!"

"But, Elona, I-I"

"Then now, you casually say, you chose me?? Who are you, so you have a choice?!! It could be. hahh..."

Suddenly, Elona held onto her chest. The shortness of breath that he had not felt for a long time was now again present in his chest.

"Elona, what's wrong with you? Elona!!" Tara shouted from inside Elona's mind without being able to do anything. He also wondered why Elona could be stricken with shortness of breath again. Though his body is not fat, but he still suffers from shortness of breath just because of stress.

Tara felt Elona's body collapsing with breathlessness. The girl thinks that this is like someone who has post-traumatic stress disorder or ptsd. For example, a person who feels limp and unable to walk even though the wound on his leg has been treated. So, he limped because of the stress of the trauma he experienced, not because of injuries.

Tara felt so stressed Elona at this time, the girl also experienced shortness of breath even though her body was thin.

"Elona? Elona?? You why? Your chest tight? Elona!!" Louis who saw the change in his former fiancee immediately panicked. And as soon as he saw the girl's body collapsing and closing her eyes, Louis swiftly grabbed her and carried her in a front sling.

"Girl!!"

Louis tried to pat the girl on the cheek, but she was unconscious. Immediately he ran towards the place where his guards parked his carriage. He no longer paid attention to Kiara who looked at the incident confused and did not know what to do. His focus now was on Elona and he wanted to bring the girl home to Locke.

Elona drooped limp with her eyes closed and a pale face, making Louis horrified to see her. Louis grabbed the girl's hand and held it, and prayed in his heart,

Meanwhile, at Locke's residence in Armelin City.

Mai was so surprised when she saw David coming with his horse along with Arthur Eckart, someone who was close to his mistress and willingly disguised himself as a village youth in order to help her. Unusually, David came with his employer like that.

Both horses arrived at the court. David's face showed a slurred look as he descended from his horse. Mai immediately approached the man who had not long ago become her lover.

"David, what's wrong? Oh, salute, Young Master Arthur Eckart!" Mai also gave a gesture of respect, which was immediately replied with a nod of the head by Art.

"Young Master tailed me after saying I wanted to come see you" David said. Art glanced at him.

"Who is following?! Besides what's the point of me following you who wants to go out on a date! I'm here to see Elona!" Art gives reasons.

"Sorry Young Master, Miss Elona has not returned from the city." said Mai. Art's face grew increasingly bitter to hear it.

"Tch! All right, I'll wait!"

David sighed. He was completely inexhaustible with the mind of his master.

"If love is to move fast. The turn has been stabbed like this, just overwhelmed. If you're worried about this, just follow Miss Elona into town!"

"Don't be so smart just because you've got a girlfriend ahead of me!" art gusar.

Suddenly, a horse-drawn carriage rushed into the grounds of Locke's residence. As soon as the wheels stopped, the cabin door opened wide. Seemed from inside Louis immediately came out of there holding Elona who was droopy.

"Miss Elona!! What's going on??" Mai immediately approached the two of them with a very panicked face.

"I don't know, Elona suddenly fainted!!" louis shouted in panic.

Art who saw all of that immediately approached Louis. In one move, Art grabs Elona's hand and grabs Louis's sling all of a sudden, so the man can't stop him.

"David, call us the greatest doctor you know. Mai, take me to Elona's room now!" tell Art quickly. David immediately boards his horse and orders the animal to speed into the city, while Art and Mai immediately climb to the second floor to Elona's room. Louis was glued together and followed them to the room.

Shortly, the doctor arrived. After checking for a moment, he seemed to be thinking hard.

"What's going on, doc?" ask Art who wants an answer soon.

The doctor frowned, then said, "Actually Miss Elona just fainted, but..."

"But what??"

"... but I don't know when Miss will wake up. His heart rate sounds really weak..."
