Part 4's

 

On the balcony of my room. Enjoying the cool night air blow lightly under the light of the goddess of the night. Accompanied by the brown setoples I now hold, I remember memories that once existed.

I'm still busy working on the PR that's piled up a lot these past few days. Ah, it feels so exhausting tonight. The sleepiness started making me lazy to do it. But whatever my day is, I have to collect it tomorrow. My phone suddenly shook briefly followed by the bright light of the onscreen.

“Kenzhi.” I saw a short message he sent.

“Exit to balcony briefly.” Short text message from Kenzhi.

“For what?” tanyaku brief.

“Already, just get out. Just a minute,” reply. I went to the balcony, and I saw Kenzhi sitting on the bench with a small smile. He signaled me to come down.

“What's up?” I asked cuek when I was in front of Kenzhi.

“Sit down first, I just came here for a minute,” the door. I sighed for a moment, then sat down next to him.

“What's up? Why are you here at nights like this?” I looked at him lazily.

“Do not get angry, I just want to give this.” Kenzhi took out the brown setoples from the plastic bag beside him.

“Receive. I know you like this chocolate.” He threw the jar in front of me.

“No. I won't accept it,” reject me cuek.

“What! Why indeed?” tanyakanya.

“How many times I said. Don't buy this chocolate again! You have to be wise to use money. Even if you are given a credit card, but do not make a scatter. You must have used that card again, right? You always take advantage of the kindness of your parents to buy things as you please.” I looked at sisnis.

“No. I didn't use it,” he said in self-defense.

“ I will not be fooled again. You must have lied to me like that. Back then, you said it was your own money, but you used your parent's credit card. Comeing! Say it! You must be using it again! If not, where do you get your money ? It's expensive!” I scolded him at length.

“Do not get angry first, let me explain.” He looked at me seriously.

“You are an adult, must learn sparingly! You should be able to sort out, which ones are important and not,”.

“What's wrong, I bought this? I didn't use my card. It's my own money, not my parents' money.” He tried to defend himself.

“Terus, can from where?” I'm still angry.

“You forgot? The day after yesterday, the band I got an invitation to fill out an event at a cafe. So, I used some of my commission money to buy this chocolate,” he explained.

“It seems, because you like to get angry so forgetful like this,” he said.

“Nak you just said. I put it this way because ... because .. because I ...” I'm stopping my sentence. To be honest I wanted to say because I care, but I broke my intentions. I don't want him to be big-headed after I say so.

“Because what?” He looked at me closer.

“Because I don't want you to be careless using money. But .. ah, that's it. You will never understand!” I took a long breath.

“Go home. It's gonna be late at night. I'll also be in, there's still a lot of PR I have to finish.” I show my tired face while yawning occasionally.

“Mmm, yes. I refused it.” Actually, I'd like to take that chocolate. But, the sense of prestige within me prevented me from saying it.

“True, you don't want?” ask him again.

“No.” My answer is as strong as ever.

“Ya. I'll give it to Yelena tomorrow.” He smiled disappointedly.

“Iya, it's better.” I don't think my heart would be willing if the chocolate was in Yelena's hands tomorrow. I can imagine his expression of a face that is so happy, and with his attitude he will definitely take advantage of the moment by pansos on social media. Not enough with that, he would definitely show it off in front of me as well.

“Alright, I'll go home,” he said pamit.

“It's best to go home quickly. Yelena must have been looking forward to the chocolate tomorrow,” I said withholding annoyance.

“I will be in soon,” I continued while moving from my seat.

“Wait a minute.” His right hand held the arm of my left arm, as if signaling for me to remain seated.

“I'm getting sleepy. Hurry home,” I complained.

“I'm just kidding, this chocolate is just for you.” He smiled at me and stood next to me.

“Receive.” He threw the chocolate in front of me.

“I love to see your cold face like this. Beautiful.” Hearing his words I was misbehaving. It seems he knows how I feel.

“Still not willing to accept? Yes already. I just throw it away.” Kenzhi let out a long breath. Soon he began to step into the trash can in the yard.

“Eh don't. Don't throw away,” I said instantly responding.

“I'll take it. And, you go home,”.

“Then, spend. Nothing left.” Kenzhi smiled, then handed the chocolate to me.

“I'll be home quietly now. Come in, I'll also be home.” Kenzhi smiled and went home.

I enjoy every chocolate that melts in my mouth. Funny indeed, to imagine the incident. I was almost jealous when Kenzhi tricked me into giving Yelena the chocolate. I took a long breath. I still feel the smell of the night wind every breath.

“Ryn.” I heard a familiar soft voice calling to me.

“Mother.” I looked back, and I saw my mother approaching me.

“Time for dinner. Let's eat together,” take mom.

“When mom comes home?” ask me who is curious.

“ Not long ago. You're too busy enjoying the night. So, mom just go home not knowing.” My mother smiled a little at me.

“Maybe so.” I take a short breath.

“Mom already knows everything. No, no, no sadness. I understand how you feel right now,” she said as she patted my shoulder.

“Mother,” gumamku shrivel. My heart was immediately touched by my mother's words. I remembered it again. Recalling about the plane crash, Kenzhi becomes one of the undiscovered victims. I couldn't hold back the tears that then broke my cheeks. Mother gently grabbed me, and I sobbed in that embrace.

“Do not suck like this, pray. In order for Kenzhi to be given the protection of the Almighty,” mother's advice. I was still sobbing, and I couldn't stop. I was also speechless, but I nodded slowly as a sign that I accepted mother's advice.
