PART 3
Suddenly Daffa's phone rang, and he quickly picked it up.
“Hallo, what? Over where? Oh yeah-yes wait a minute, I'm there.” After that short talk, Daffa decided on his call.
“Ryn, let's go. Sasa just told me, there's news about the passenger data of the plane in mading.” His word.
“Oh yes? Come on, Daff, we have to hurry" I said.
Daffa and I rushed to the airport. Once there, it was very crowded. Many people filled the mading front. They scramble in the front row, to check the news about their families, or the people they're looking for. Many cries are heard. In fact, not a few also fainted. The atmosphere was so noisy, and deafening.
There is no calmness, all there is now is tension. My eyes swept over the entire place, looking for Sasa's location. But not long after, I saw Sasa who was crammed with many people in front of the mading. He waved his hand, as if to code for me and Daffa to follow him.
“Daf, it's Sasa! Let's go there,” take me.
I pulled out Daffa's arm, and went to follow Sasa. Up there, Daffa and I crowded with a lot of people. I tried to break through to the front. It's hard, but I don't want to give up so soon. I tried a few times, and now it works too. Quickly, my gaze swept across the passenger data. Looking for Kenzhi's name.
“Kenzhi Rafisqy Shaquille” I see the name written on the list of missing victims.
“What!” I muttered not to believe. I repeated it, researching from above again but the results remained the same.
“This is impossible," I thought.
I keep repeating it. Like before, the result is the same. My tears began to grow unstoppable, and I continued to deny the results I had.
“Kenzhi,“ gumamku. My body was shaking, feeling like I was out of energy. It felt so weak, I couldn't handle it. Moreover, my head also felt heavy, and dizzy. Now my vision suddenly faded, then it was all dark and I didn't remember anything.
*****
“Ryn." I heard faintly Sasa's voice.
“Ryn, Ryn. Wake up Ryn." The soft voice sounded strong in the ears. I opened my eyes slowly, I saw beside me Sasa and Daffa.
“Where am I?” I guess I'm still confused. My eyes swept the room. It's like a hospital, but it's simpler.
“You're in clinic. You fainted, and we panicked. Yes, we finally brought you here,” explained Sasa. My head still feels dizzy, and my body feels weak.
“So the Doctor has examined you, and you need a lot of rest. Your body is too weak due to many thoughts,” continued Daffa.
“It's Ryn, don't think too much first. About Kenzhi, let me and Daffa take care of it. Better, you I take you home," said Sasa giving advice.
When I heard the word “Kenzhi” spoken in Sasa's mouth, I remembered that I had to confirm the news I saw earlier.
“I have to go.” I'm deep in heart.
“Come, I'll take you home," bargained Daffa.
“No! Me, I don't want to go home. I need to find out about Kenzhi. I have to make sure again!" ngotuk. I went down from the bed I was sleeping in now, but Daffa and Sasa prevented me.
“Hey, you are not well yet. Don't force yourself like this. Are you not sane? What if it happens worse than this?” daffa said with a slightly angry tone.
“Daffa! Don't be like that!” Sasa was furious half-whispering, his arm nudging Daffa's waist. His eyes glanced at Daffa.
“What Daffa says does have a point,” I thought.
“Ryn, you better go home. What Daffa said is true too.Your mother must be worried, especially now that it is afternoon," Sasa said.
“Have it, let's go home. You don't worry, I've asked for the airport attendant's number, if there is any news about Kenzhi, they will contact.” Daffa shook his cell phone.
“Sister and your mother must be worried, if you don't go home soon," said Sasa.
“Sister, mother." Ah, I even forgot about them. Sasa was right, I should go home quickly.
“Alright, I will go home,” I said in a resigned tone.
*****
When I got home, I went straight to my room. I sat on the edge of the bed, my tears could no longer be blocked. I rubbed it many times but it still dripped.
“Kenzhi,” muttered me while crying a mouthful.
“Why is it like this!” batinku.
“I still can't accept,” I thought.
“Tok, tok, tok.” The sound of the room door being knocked.
“Ryn, this is Brother. Can Brother come in?” I heard Alby's voice. I wiped my tears, and took a deep breath.
“Iya, come in," I said briefly.
“Your eyes are puffy.” Alby's comment is now sitting next to me.
“See Sister.” Brother Alby lifted my chin, then looked at me deeply.
“Your face is pale, your nose is flushed, your eyes are swollen like, and you say this as usual?” My brother is very good at reading my face.
Ah, I can't seem to stare at my brother's face like this for long. My body felt trembling, my pulse seemed to move faster. I wanted to describe what I felt, but I couldn't. My lips felt faint to speak, only my eyes now felt glazed over.
“If you want to cry, just cry. Don't you hold it, Brother knows what you feel,” he said as he grabbed me.
“Kakak," whining me in his deck.
My tears melt as soon as Alby holds me.
“Ke, Ke, Kenzhi Kak,”.
“Sister already knows everything, Brother understands what you feel. It is heavy, but you must remember, there is still a big brother here.” Alby's sister tried to calm me down.
“No idea, he plays an important role in your life, it's natural that you are like this. He's still declared missing, right? Not dead, is it? So, there's still a chance of survival. Don't be sad, Brother will help you find out about Kenzhi,” he continued.
After more calm and a hiccup is not heard anymore, Brother Alby took off his deck.
“Rest. You need a lot of energy, Brother will prepare a meal for you.” Alby then turned to the kitchen. I nodded slowly.
“Kenzhi, Kenzhi, Kenzhi.” I can't stop thinking about it. My head feels so dizzy, but my brain and heart can't stop worrying about Kenzhi. I closed my eyes, then took a deep breath.
*****
“Ryn, wake. Lookatme. I heard the sound of a stranger no longer.
“Wake up, and look at me.” The voice sounded close to the ear. My eyes closed, I opened slowly.
“Kenzhi." I saw Kenzhi beside me sleeping, sitting on the edge of the bed and smiling at me. I got out of my sleep, switched to sitting leaning on the headboard.
“Kenzhi,” muttered slowly. I couldn't hold back my tears, instantly flowing without my control.
“Don't cry, just because of me,” she said as her right hand wiped tears on my cheeks.
“This, this is really you?” my many.
“Which do you think, who else? Is it the same as me? Besides me ?” He asked back. I was silent, I held her hand on my cheek.
“Your eyes are too expensive. Don't you waste nothing like this,” he said with a smile.
“Don't go again, stay here,”.
“I, always here.” Kenzhi lowered his hand that I held, turning it on my chest. As if to code that he will continue to be in my heart.
“And you, will always be here,” his hand now turns to hold my hand, then stick it on his chest.
“Promise! You will always love me.” Kenzhi looked at me seriously. A smile on his thin lips did not go along with his words.
“I promise!” my answer.
“I'm relieved. With your answer, I can leave quietly.” Kenzhi breathed a sigh of relief.
“No! Don't go Zhi, I don't want to part anymore," prevent me from being willing.
“I, just leave for a while. I promise to come pick you up someday and bring happiness.” Kenzhi tried to convince me.
“No! You can't go anymore.” I half called.
“Ma’af, I cannot
I have to go now. Don't cry and grieve anymore, because I'm in your deepest heart" she said, letting go of her hand. I see it getting longer, Kenzhi is like a shadow. Fades, fades, and disappears without a trace.
“No!” I'm calling.
*****
“It turns out I was dreaming,” my murmur realized that it was just a dream. I woke up from my deep sleep. My breath was breathless, sweat soaking my face and body. My heart was beating faster, my blood was also beating faster.
“Ryn, eat first, brother cook your favorite boiled rice.” Said Kak Alby who entered the room while carrying a tray containing boiled rice and a glass of milk. Boiled rice is the nickname of boiled rice, and given pieces of red onion, chili, garlic, also in seasoned salt and flavoring. This food has been my favorite since childhood.
“You will feel better after eating," said Kak Alby while putting it on the table. I just kept quiet.
“Why you?” ask Alby.
“No. I'm not why-why. What's wrong?” I'm back to asking.
“Nothing. Already, let's eat," take Alby.
“Where's mom? Why didn't I hear his voice? Or even see it?” Ttnyaku's.
“Mother is still at the Restaurant, it looks like she'll be home a little late. There is still a lot of work to be done,” explained Kak Alby. I nodded my head little at Brother Alby's explanation.
“Come. Quick eat. You have to recover your energy,” said Brother Alby.
“Iya, I'll eat it. Thanks though. Brother cares so much for me,” I said then smiled.
“You are the most beloved sister. Naturally, if Big Brother does this. Because Brother, dear to you," said Brother Alby, then put a small smile on his lips.
