The Part 14
Long story short, Sasa and I joined the audience. From the beginning of the match, until now mid-match berlangasung, I became the center of attention. Many people talked about me, and they also often glanced at me. This made me uncomfortable, the voices I heard were deafening my ears. While Sasa who sat next to me looked comfortable and ordinary.
“I go for a while,”, I said to Sasa who was busy braining a mobile phone in his hand.
“Where?” tanyanya brief.
“Ke canteen. I want to buy mineral water, you want?” bargained.
Sasa shook his head, ”Em, no.” then returned to play his phone.
“Ya already.” I immediately switched to leave Sasa.
*****
“Bu, I bought this one,” I said in front of the cashier while showing a bottle of mineral water.
“Oh yes, five thousand,” sahut mother canteen guard. I took the money out of my wallet, paid it and left. I walked out of the cafeteria while sipping a bottle of mineral water I bought. It turned out the same, everywhere I became the center of attention of students. They don't stop talking about me. Either directly, or through social media.
My step stopped, “Kak Gavin.”
I saw some people stretcher Mr. Gavin to the UKS. I immediately went to the UKS, there was a sense of worry in me. Arriving in the UKS, I had to wait outside because Gavin's sister was being treated. One of the friends is here too.
“What happened? Why was he on the stretcher?” I asked him about a theme called Ghany.
“Gavin collided with an opposing player, then fell and injured his leg. Looks like he can't play anymore, because the spider is a bit heavy.” Somehow my heart felt sad, my worry grew bigger.
Not long after that, suddenly Sasa came up with a football player from the opposing team, his name was Kevlar. His face looked battered, and at the corner of his right lip was bleeding.
“I told you, don't fight. But you still ngeyel. Tau itself will be battered like this.” I saw a hue of anger on Sasa's face.
“He started first, not me,” Kevlar said in self-defense.
“I don't care who starts first, which I know you got hurt. Ah, nevermind. Wait here, I'll take P3K for a bit.” Sasa's face implied Kevlar's worry.
“Ryn. Since when are you here?” asked Sasa who had just realized that I was here. He looked surprised when he saw me.
“Why this? What... What happened Sa? Why are you with him?” I asked Sasa.
“She... fought with Daffa back in the field. It will be.. battered like this.” Sasa's tone of answer looked heavy when answering my question.
“Then, where is Daffa now? Why didn't he come with you?” ask again. When Sasa was about to reply, our attention was distracted by Daffa who suddenly came with a student who made Sasa jealous. Daffa's face was also battered, and on his right temple was bleeding.
“I... I will take medicine now,” Sasa said then left. I still don't understand what happened between Sasa and Daffa. They've never been like this before. In the past, when they were marahan, they just kept quiet for a while, and soon it was better again.
“Let's sit there,” take the student to sit in the corridor seat next to me standing. I saw his hands tightly coiled in Daffa's arms.
“I can walk by myself. Don't take me like this.” Daffa pulled his arm. He looks angry with the student. And as he passed Kevlar sitting in the left corridor seat in front of the UKS room, Daffa glanced at him sharply. And vice versa, it seems Kevlar also felt angry at Daffa.
“Daffa, wait for me. You are injured,” said the student chasing after Daffa.
“Daff,” called me when Daffa passed in front of me.
“Ryn.” Daffa turned his head towards me, he was like surprised when he saw me.
“Kamu...why are you..” I have not finished I said, my attention and Daffa distracted by Sasa who came out of the UKS room while carrying a P3K box. I wanted to ask Daffa what had happened between Daffa and Sasa. Why, now seem to hate each other, but not so. Sasa briefly stopped when he passed Daffa. I saw a sense of pity on Sasa's face, but it soon turned angry. While Daffa, like to say something to Sasa. When Daffa was about to call Sasa, Sasa turned his face and left Daffa who was still standing in front of me.
“Come, what are you waiting for. You're hurt, and now I'm going to treat you.” The student pulled Daffa's arm, and with a heavy heart Daffa said.
“Wait a minute, I'll buy cold water. Don't make trouble,” Sasa said.
“I never make trouble, just..” Kevlar's speech came to a halt as Sasa glanced at him sharply.
Kevlar breathed for a moment, “Alright. It won't."
Kevlar smiled at Sasa. Sasa did not answer him, he just left. A few minutes later, Sasa returned with two bottles of mineral water. Sasa opened the bottle of cold mineral water he had bought, then wet it on the handkerchief he had taken from his pocket.
“It may hurt, but try to hold, let your wound heal quickly.” Sasa slowly wiped the wound on Kevlar's face.
Kevlar grimaced, his hand holding the hand of Sasa who was wiping him, “Slow dong, sick,” he groaned.
“Hold a minute, if you want to heal.” Sasa then wiped it with an anti-septic.
“If it is serious like this, it turns out you are beautiful too,” said Kevlar while smiling towards Sasa.
“Silent, or I will make your face more ruined than this,” threatened Sasa. Sasa then emphasized his coercion more strongly.
“Ah, pain. Don't be. You deliberately made me suffer more,” Kevlar said as he grimaced with pain.
“Interpreting now how it feels to be battered. You almost made me hang. Don't you know how anxious I was to see you fighting like that. Don't repeat it again, I don't want to see you get hurt,” Sasa said half-naggingly.
“How much are you worried about me?” Kevlar looked at Sasa seriously.
“Of course. You are an important person in my life,” replied Sasa as he continued to treat Kevlar.
“Then, I guess, I'm getting better faster now. Thanks, for treating me.” Kevlar pinched Sasa's nose squash.
“Good then.” Sasa then packed his P3K medicine after he finished treating Kevlar.
I turned to look at Daffa, he was jealous when he saw Sasa with Kevlar. There was a hue of anger on Daffa's face. In fact, the can of soda drink he was holding was crumpled, and accidentally the water came out watering the schoolgirl who was treating him. The student was shocked, and spontaneously stood shaking the water that hit his shirt.
“Daffa. What are you doing!” yells.
“Daffa, wait for me,” whined the schoolgirl in a spoiled tone, but Daffa behaved indifferently. He then pursued Daffa who abandoned him.
On the one hand, Kevlar threw a satisfied smile at Sasa, while Sasa was silent. His face suddenly glum.
“Aish. He's really jealous to see us. I can't believe it, it turns out I can make people jealous,” said Kevlar then sipped the mineral water that was bought by Sasa.
“Don't talk about it anymore, or I'll smash your face,” Sasa threatened. Sasa then got up from his seat, then left just like that.
“Hey. Why get so angry? I didn't mean to make you angry. Don't leave me.” Kevlar quickly chased after Sasa.
“Ryn, can we talk to you for a minute?” asked Ghany who suddenly opened the conversation.
“Ya, can,” I replied briefly. Ghany and I sat in the chair.
“Sorry, I didn't mean to be presumptuous of you. But. I noticed lately you are close to Gavin, whereas before you rarely greet each other, and Gavin, the person is also indifferent to women. After knowing you, he was different. Gavin is like back in the days of Junior High, when he was still with Chessy, a female friend who since childhood he liked.” I was shocked to hear what Ghany said, and somehow I got nervous. But, I wonder, why she could know about Gavin's relationship with his girlfriend.
“You... you know about brother Gavin?” many doubt.
Ghany smiled, “Are you kidding? I certainly know him. Me, Gavin, and Chessy friends since childhood,” he explained.
“I don't mean to know your relationship, it's just that I want to ask you one thing. Please, lest you hurt Gavin, he's a good man.” Ghany's face looked at me seriously. I didn't think he'd talk like that. I don't understand what he really meant, but he kind of put his hopes on me.
“So Gavin is a good person, he helps me a lot when I'm in trouble. So, there's no way I'm gonna hurt him. He's a good friend to me,” I replied.
“He is like that, behind his reserved nature, he will be a person who cares deeply for anyone he considers important,” Ghany explained.
“Wah, now I feel like I'm in a category,” my candlestick.
“Maybe so,” said Ghany while making a big smile towards me.
Suddenly someone came out from behind the door, distracting me and Ghany. What came out was one of the members of the medical team who treated Gavin's brother.
“How is Gavin doing?” ask Ghany.
“He is fine. Just the injury to his foot kept him from playing in the meantime. He must rest first, so that his injury quickly recovers. Oh yes, it is better that he be escorted home now, so that he can rest faster,” he explained and leave.
Upon hearing his explanation, Ghany and I rushed in to see Gavin.
“Sister Gavin,” murmured when I saw Brother Gavin sitting on the edge of the UKS bed. I see, his injured right leg is bandaged. Gavin also grimaced occasionally with pain.
“Vin, are you okay?” Ghany looks worried about Gavin.
“Calm down, I'm fine. It's just a small injury. Thanks for visiting me.” Gavin's sister turned a smile towards Ghany, she seemed to be trying to hide her pain.
“Kenzhi,” guamamku slowly unknowingly. My chest ached suddenly, so I remembered Kenzhi. He also had an injury to his leg during a pencak silat competition, even a broken ankle, and that made me very worried.
“Ryn,” call brother Gavin.
“Ah, yes Brother Gavin.” I woke up from my daydreams about Kenzhi.
“Thank you for visiting me, but... how did you come with Ghany?" tanyakanya.
"We met outside" Ghany replied quickly.
I smiled a little, “Iya, how is Brother doing? Does anyone hurt again?”
“No, this is just a minor injury. Most, a few more days healed,” he replied.
“Then, Brother should rest a lot,” my advice.
“True what Ryn said, you have to rest a lot. You go home, let me allow it,” Ghany continued.
“I'm sorry, I wasn't careful earlier.” The look on Gavin's face revealed a look of regret.
“It's okay, it's an accident. Already, don't think too much. Importantly, you recover first.” Ghany patted Gavin's upper arm several times.
“Sorry, I can't linger here, I have to get back to the field immediately. Oh yes Ryn, can I ask you to take Gavin home?” Ghany, who was staring at Gavin's brother, turned to look at me.
“No need, I can go home by myself,” minus it smooth.
“No, I'll take Brother home. Don't go home alone,” prevent me.
“Do not refuse Vin, your situation is now unstable,” thump Ghany.
Brother Gavin smiled,”Ya, well then,” said yes.
“I'll go now, get well quickly.” Ghany patted Gavin's shoulder and left.
After Ghany left, the atmosphere became silent. Gavin's just quiet, you know
with me too. It feels awkward now.
“Kita... go home now?” many doubt.
“Iya,” the answer is short. I helped Brother Gavin get out of his bed, then wiped him out.
“Thank you, you want to take me home, sorry I trouble you.” Brother Gavin looks like he's not feeling well.
“I do not feel bothered really, we are friends,” said me while smiling at brother Gavin.
“Iya, friend.” Brother Gavin returned my little smile.
