Mom and Dad finally let us go back to Jakarta. On the grounds of research for the thesis, they were forced to let their children go. Finally, this reason is the most appropriate to seduce parents. By agreement that we should complete the thesis as soon as possible. Dad also called Om Gunawan to keep an eye on us during the research there. I immediately informed Mama Sanu when we would be leaving. A day feels so long. I can't wait to see Sanu.
We got to the station to be picked up by Dayat. He's been at the station since last night. In the spirit of the man brought our things. This time he looks cool. Maybe the taxi driver deliberately changed his appearance for Disa. I smiled at my twin. How nice he was to meet Dayat.
A few hours after we had enough rest, we went to the hospital. From a distance I saw Mas Vino and Papa Sanu sitting in front of the room. This heart was pounding, worried that something might happen to Sanu. Disa and I ran, wanting to know what was going on. With a loud breath I asked them the state of the patient. It turns out that they came out because Sanu's friends were visiting and they felt crowded in the room. Me and Disa were waiting outside. I brought a souvenir of bakpia Yogya, while waiting for us to enjoy with the bakpia. Mama Sanu who just came hugged Disa, then I. He hugged us tightly, so we could hardly breathe.
Sanu's friends one by one came out and went home. After we all left, we went in together. Me and Disa walked at the back. My heart is pounding. Sanu still remembers me, right? My inner.
“Whose are you?” Sanu looked at us confused. It was as if he was remembering something.
Me and Disa looked at each other. Confused explain. My heart is beating faster. The cold heat felt this body.
“You remember our meeting at the station?” I'm signaling Sanu. Subduing in embarrassment, not daring to look at Sanu.
“Station!!!” Sanu stared at the ceiling of the room, trying to remember something.
We all noticed it. I hope he remembers something. Ever since she came to her senses, her parents had deliberately not told her about our presence. Doctor Sanu said you should not think too much. There may be some of his memories missing. That's what I'm worried about. Sanu and I only met once, so it's probably hard for Sanu to remember me. Before coming here, Disa had advised to be mentally prepared if Sanu did not remember me. Sanu held his head, he felt dizzy. We told him not to try to remember it again.
“Sanu, don't force yourself to remember it. What matters is that you are healthy first. Calm yourself Sanu.” Disa tried to calm Sanu down. My tears were dripping, unable to see Sanu's condition. Mas Vino came closer, embracing me. Spontaneous I leaned against his chest. Sanu was in a daze staring at us one by one. Being able to wipe away the tears on Sanu's cheeks, he felt like he was suffering from how much the man lying down was right now. Slowly Disa was crying.
The regret that I have felt so far has not gone away, it has only grown. If only I hadn't ignored Sanu in the past, maybe now he wouldn't have forgotten me. But the rice has become porridge. The only thing I can do now is to help me remember it. Every day I visit Sanu. Sometimes alone or with Disa. I don't want to trouble my brother to keep company. Surely he also has other activities, especially with Dayat. Besides, I also want to have time alone with Sanu. Sometimes I like to take Sanu to the park inside the Hospital. I love to tell you how we got to know. Sanu's curiosity, my bad attitude, texts that I often ignore, Facebook that belongs to Disa, until the meeting at the Station. Sanu's head often hurts when trying hard to remember it. It was then that I felt guilty for forcing her to remember those memories.
Coming home from Mas Vino Hospital took me for a walk to the city park. It coincides with Valentine's Day. Dozens of pairs of lovers filled each side of the park. I'm not really interested in Valentine's Day. Understandably, I have bad memories of Valentine's day. Every time Valentine's Day comes, I'm always hurt by someone. It traumatized me to celebrate Valentine with my loved ones. We walked around the park and stopped in a long chair near the fountain. Chat while eating grilled corn. Around the park are many street vendors. So if visitors are hungry or thirsty do not need to go all the way to find a stall. Simply walk to the edge of the park, then visitors can choose the food they like. Of course, there are only simple foods here, such as: grilled corn, grilled sausage, tempura, meatballs, chicken noodles, fruit soup, and others that can prop up a hungry stomach. I haven't eaten grilled corn for a long time, so I've added twice. After eating corn, Mas Vino bought me orange juice. We enjoyed tonight by seeing a concert from a local band. It is small stage, but it can entertain many people.
It doesn't feel like it's getting night. I also took Mas Vino home. When that happened, it was something I didn't expect. Mas Vino took me out of the crowd. At first I thought he was doing that so as not to separate when he came out. Turns out he's holding me to the parking lot. I tried to take his hand off, but his grip was too tight. He just took my hand off when he was about to take the bike. On the way home, Mas Vino asked me to hold on because he was going to speed. I held her jacket tight, but she suddenly pulled my hand and wrapped it around her stomach. The situation made me feel very uncomfortable and wanted to get home quickly. Mas Vino stopped the motor right in front of the fence. I rushed down and thanked him, hoping that Mas Vino would come home. But he just smiled while looking at me. The atmosphere was very quiet, some houses already looked dark. I'm afraid he'll do something.
“Ehhmmm.. Dif!” Mas Vino called out softly, breaking the silence.
Awkwardly the man who just got off the bike grabbed my hand, “You don't you be my girlfriend.” Both of his hands held my hands tightly. His eyes were sharp, full of hope.
My eyes were wide open, shocked. Spontaneous took off his grip. Wrong behavior, do not know what to say, scratching the head that does not itch. I wanted to look at him but not dare.
Look at the sky, trying to find an excuse. “Ehmmm. You better go home. Not good if anyone sees.”
His head bowed, then looked at me disappointedly. “Ok. I'm h-home. I'm waiting for an answer from you as soon as possible yes.” He rode his bike back and turned on the engine, “I love you, Dif.” Look at me with a smile and then leave.
I'll be right into the house. This incident made me shocked. Fortunately there were not many questions asked by Om Gunawan and Aunt Lilis, so I could go straight to the room.
