MY THANKS

Once upon a time my hostess friend, Riya. Comment, “Mbak, write a book wae kono. No status dowo-dowo, change males I mocone. (Sir, write a book there. Make a long-term status, until lazy I read it.)” I laughed when I saw his face, we were discussing Facebook with other friends. He admitted that all this time only like my status without reading it because it was too long.

It was not only Riya who commented. Mas Sarji and Mas Tri my friends at Laskar Rekehan Community also said the same thing. When I was about to leave, on the terrace of Basecamp. Mas Tri suddenly clicked, “Mbak, tak sarani yo. Kowe ki apike wrote the book Wae. (Bak, I advise you. You are good at writing books only.)” I also asked the reason. Mas Tri explained, “Alesane, kowe ki nek koment neng statuse uwong dowoooo. Mumpuli sepur ngerti ra? Nek kabeh komentmu collected into iso dadi sak book kui. (The reason is, you are if you comment on the status of a panjangggg. Beyond the train, you know? If all your comments are collected it could be that one book.)” I smiled to see him spread out my hands, demonstrating how long my comment was.

Mas Sarji who was sitting near me added, “Iya. If you write a book, I'll be the first to comment.” I was spontaneous, “Halah, most comments this book is not worth reading!!!” Resolutely while waving a hand he said, “Not. I want to comment ‘this book is worth reading and very inspiring, from Sarjiono-tukang chicken noodles.’ That?” I smiled again, how excited they were to motivate me to become a writer.

I also visited a friend's room. Ma'am Achi, my senior at Campus said, “I read your status on facebook, he said you want to be famous. You want to be famous so what?” I haven't had time to answer, suddenly Mbak Mita has preceded me, “If you want to be famous so just a writer.” I smiled looking at them both.

While doing a job interview, I was asked about hobbies. Of course my answer is writing. Then the HRD gave me advice to be a writer like his friend who came out of work because he had become a writer and motivator.

In a smile, I pray, “Yes Allah.thank you for sending angels to motivate me. Although they are not aware of it.”.

I am glad my friends commented on my writing. Without them knowing it, they actually motivated me to keep writing. I did not intentionally tell them that I wanted to be a writer. But they seem to understand my desire.

In silence I am very grateful to Riya, Mas Tri, Mas Sarji, Mbak Achi, Mbak Mita and other friends who have unconsciously motivated me. The advice and advice you gave me made me even more confident to keep writing.

Maybe now they have forgotten those words, some of the words they uttered years ago long before this book was written. Words to them are only humor, but not to me. A very influential speech in my life. Thank you to all my friends and family who have always supported me in doing good. Only God can repay your kindness.
