I'll call your Husband's Love
Eps. 72. A Short Message From Tamara

The night changed in the morning and the activities of city life returned to running as usual.

At the residence of Pandu and Yuri, the busy morning was also beginning to be seen. Yuri grapples in the kitchen to prepare breakfast, while Pandu is busy preparing, as that morning she is going to Tamara's house to pick up her daughter first, before she herself leaves for her shop.

"Mas Guide! Breakfast is ready, baby!"

After serving fried rice and a cup of coffee at the dinner table, Yuri called her husband to have breakfast with her immediately.

"Here you go, honey." Hearing Yuri call out to him, Pandu rushed towards the dining room.

"What did you cook this morning, honey? The aroma is delicious," Pandu piji while pulling a chair and sitting in the dining room.

"Just your favorite seafood fried rice, Mas. This morning Chia was not home, I was lazy to cook," Yuri said, also sitting next to Pandu.

Usually every morning he would also be busy cooking breakfast for Chia. However, that morning he felt a little lazy, because he only prepared breakfast for the two of them.

"I miss Chia, Mas. I don't know why, I didn't sleep well last night. I kept thinking about Chia. I'm afraid Chia fussed over Tamara." While holding a plate of Pandu with fried rice, Yuri continued to connect her chirps. There was actually an uneasy feeling in her heart, leaving Chia with Tamara.

"Tamara's Chia's real mother, honey. I'm sure Tamara can take good care of her. After all, Chia and Tamara must still have a very strong inner bond" said Pandu, not wanting Yuri to worry too much about her little daughter.

"Yes, Mom, I know that. You're going to pick her up today, aren't you?" Yuri just smiled a little and didn't want to worry too much about the princess.

Without much talking anymore, Pandu and Yuri finished their breakfast quickly.

The tring! The tring! The tring!

Pandu reached into his pants pocket when he heard several times there was a notification of a short message that entered his phone. "This must be a message from Tamara," he muttered as he unlocked the phone screen and read some incoming messages.

"Tamara has sent a message so I can pick up Chia at his house, dear," Pandu said after reading a message sent by his ex-wife.

"You're going there now, Mom?" ask Yuri.

"Yes, honey."

"Can I come with you, Mom? Homework is done. I beg you, let me pick up Chia, "pinta Yuri has a little bit of clarity.

"Of course, honey. Let's go now," Pandu, in no way forbid Yuri from coming with him.

Pandu cars drove smoothly on the city streets that were still quite quiet that morning. Just an hour into the journey, they had already reached Tamara's house. The house that was his home before.

Pandu and Yuri rushed down from his car when they were already parked in the courtyard of the house. However, both of them were quite gasp, because Tamara's house looked lonely from the outside. The porch lights are still on and all the curtains are also closed. As if there were no activities in the house.

"Kok his house looks deserted? Is it possible that Tamara and Chia haven't woken up yet, Mas?" Yuri was curious about the state of the house that looked lonely.

"Tamara must have woken up, honey. He's already sent me this message, which means he's up from now on." Pandu shows Tamara's message on her phone to Yuri and is very sure that Tamara must have woken up that morning.

The two then walked together to the main door of the house which was also seen still tightly closed.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

"Near! Chia! I've come." While knocking on the door, Pandu called his ex-wife and daughter.

"Chia ... Papa came to pick you up, baby!"

"It looks like the house is empty, Mom. No sign of anyone inside." Yuri started to look worried.

"Don't Tamara take Chia away from here, Mas," thought Yuri getting anxious.

"It can't be so bad to think, Yuri. Tamara was clearly sending me a message. I'm sure he couldn't have taken Chia away" Pandu denied, dismissing his wife's insolence.

"Try calling Tamara's cell phone, Mas. It's possible that he took Chia for a walk around the compound" Yuri suggested again.

"You're right, honey." Pandu nodded in agreement as he began to contact Tamara via his mobile phone.

Tutt's! Tutt's! Tutt's!

Pandu can hear his call connected. But there was no response from Tamara. Pandu also repeated the call a few more times, but it remained the same. Tamara still did not answer the call.

Pandu also felt anxious and his heart kept wondering. Tamara, who had only recently contacted him via a short message, was now unable to contact him through a call.

"How, Mas? Did Tamara answer the phone?"

Pandu shook his head and grew increasingly anxious.

When both of them were overwhelmed with anxiety and confusion, suddenly Yuri's hand was moved around the door handle.

"It turns out the door wasn't locked, Mom." Yuri exclaimed as she accidentally opened the door after she turned the handle.

Not wanting to wait, the two immediately rushed into the house. The first room they went to was the nursery. The room where Chia usually sleeps before they move into a new house.

"Chia!" yuri exclaimed when she saw her daughter still sound asleep on the bed complete with a blanket and a bottle of milk next to her.

Yuri and Pandu rushed over to Chia who was still asleep and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Chia's here, but where's Tamara? Why is this house empty? Can Tamara leave Chia alone at home?" Pandu muttered and felt confused by Tamara's behavior that morning.

Ting! Ting! Ting!

Not yet exhausted the confusion felt by Pandu and Yuri, the sound of a short message notification was heard back from his phone and Pandu also rushed to kill him.

(Mas Pandu, Yuri) The greeting was written on the first message that Pandu read on his mobile phone. The message was sent by Tamara.

(When you've read this message, it means I've been away from this house. Thank you so much for letting me be with Chia last night. But with me, Chia's been crying all night. He can't stay calm with me. I, who was her own real mother, could not stop Chia's crying. Therefore, I realized that Chia had never been able to accept me as her mother. My mistake was huge, Mom. I also know that I don't deserve to be forgiven.)

Pandu sighed deeply after reading the second message from Tamara.

{In this city, I no longer have a future, Mas. All companies have blacklisted my name. I can't get a job here anymore. Therefore, I decided to leave here and pit my fate in another city. I'll take Chia with you and Yuri. I beg you one thing too. Please don't ever make Chia hate me. After all, Chia is still my biological daughter, my own flesh and blood. We will always have a strong inner bond, even if we don't live together anymore.)

The palanquin's hand began to tremble as it read the message.

(Goodbye, Mas Pandu. I won't apologize from you anymore, because I know I don't deserve that apology. If God still gives me long life, hopefully there will be a chance to meet again. Please take care of Chia for me.)

Pandu rubbed his face. The messages sent by Tamara indicate that Tamara has decided to leave the city, leaving her and the memories they shared.
