Eps. 03. Expelled Citizens

Yuri lowered her face and subconsciously her eyes glazed over. The question that Pandu asked, made him remember all the events that had just happened to him, so that he had to walk alone in the darkness of the night and aimlessly.

Feeling the awkward attitude and the hue of Yuri's face that instantly changed when she asked, made Pandu realize that the woman in front of him was not okay. However, there was not the slightest bit of negative prejudice in Pandu's mind towards Yuri. The woman seemed to be very sincere in helping save her wife and baby. All of Yuri's non-existent attitude suggests that she's not a good woman.

"I'm sorry if I ask. If I may know, what really happened? Is this Ms Yuri a victim of the KDRT?" ask Pandu again just guessing.

With her face still down, Yuri just shook her head slowly. "No, Sir. I am not a victim of the KDRT," he said.

"Then why is your body bruised like this?" Pandu frowned.

Although Yuri remained silent, but Pandu continued to chatter and continued to ask a lot of things to Yuri, about how she could be on the streets in the dark and rain. In fact, Pandu also continued to scout Yuri, inquiring about her identity. Seeing Yuri's deplorable state at that time, there was Pandu's intention to help as well as in return for all the help Yuri had done for his wife and baby.

That afternoon, suddenly black clouds swarming the sky and not imaginary rain fell very heavy.

A man knocks on Yuri's door and asks for shelter in front of Yuri's small rented porch.

Unwilling that the man was cold and wet with rain, Yuri let the man in and took shelter in his house. But something unexpected starts there. A very impatient woman suddenly knocked on the door of her house and shouted loudly at him.

"Out you! I know you two are perverts in there!"

"Mas Haikal! Get out of you, Mum!"

Although accompanied by the sound of rain, the scream sounded sharp and pierced Yuri's ears.

"Who shouts like that in the rain like this?" inner Yuri.

"Well, did you ask, Mother?" wonder the man who was sheltering in his house and had introduced himself named Haikal.

"Lacking to know, Mas. There are not usually guests raining like this," replied Yuri also felt astonished.

"Awhile, my. I'll open the door first." Yuri rushed up from her seat and opened the door.

Yuri rounded her eyes when she saw a woman standing at the door of her house and looking at her cynically. Out of nowhere, suddenly the woman was there.

"Sorry, who are you looking for?" yuri asked with a confused face, because she did not feel that she knew the woman who was in front of her.

"I'm here to find my husband! You must have hidden it in there, right? You widow ganjen! Seductress!" Without a warning, the woman immediately cursed and scorned speech slid very narrowly from her mouth.

"Husband?" Yuri frowned. "Oh .. So Mas Haikal is Ma'am's husband, huh?" yuri asked innocently and completely disregarded the sentence of the woman before her, who said she was a seductive woman.

Despite the hair, the woman's face and entire body were wet with rain water, but Yuri could see that there was an aura of anger emanating clearly from her face.

Hearing the sound of commotion, Haikal who was still sitting in the living room rushed over.

"What is this storm?" haikal asked as he looked at the door.

"Lisa!" Haikal's eyes widened as soon as he saw who the woman who was standing around her waist in the terrace of Yuri's house.

"Based on your basket boy, Mas Haikal! I was looking for you. At home your son is sick, but apparently you're good at perverting this cheap widow!" accuse the woman and look very angry.

The woman named Lisa who is none other than Haikal's wife and they live in the same housing as Yuri, only Haikal and Lisa's house is located at the end of the complex.

"I'm just here to take shelter, Lis. The rain was very heavy and I forgot to bring a raincoat" Haikal said, trying to calm his wife.

Lisa quickly pulled Haikal's hand out of the house. Lisa then stood her back to her husband and stared at Yuri with a hateful look.

"Sorry, Mom! It's just a misunderstanding. I never had any intention of flirting with my husband, Mom. The rain was very heavy and Mas Haikal just happened to be taking shelter in my house" Yuri said in self-defense.

"No need to find a reason! You flirty widow! I'll teach you a lesson today!" snapped Lisa while raising her hand and grabbing Yuri's hair, pulled it violently until Yuri's body slammed and fell into her yard.

"Aawws!" Yuri grimaced as she fell on the ground and her knees were scuffed when they touched the ground.

Lisa, who was still in a rage, approached Yuri again and lifted her shoulders.

Plaakk!

A loud slap Lisa gifted on Yuri's cheek.

"Taste this cheap woman! Seductive husband of people!" Lisa returned to snorting.

Amidst the rain that still fell and flushed their bodies with a rush, Lisa again pulled the collar of clothes worn by Yuri. Very rudely, Lisa slapped Yuri back in the face. However, there was no resistance from Yuri. She still looks shocked and unexpected, the woman who claimed to be the wife of the man who was sheltering in her house was very angry and had the heart to accuse her of doing dirty deeds with her husband.

"Stop! Please don't beat me again! I have nothing to do with Mas Haikal. For God's sake, she was just taking shelter in my house" Yuri whined as she shed tears and tried to defend herself. Despite the pain, he was unable to resist the woman who clasped his hands very strongly and continued to attack him mercilessly.

"Lis .. stop! You can't treat him like that. It's just a misunderstanding, he and I have nothing to do!" pekik Haikal, while approaching the two women, and holding the hand of Lisa who was on standby again beat Yuri.

"Your path, Mas. You're still defending her, which means you've been really tempted by this woman!"

Lisa violently let go of the haikal hand and gave a slap to her husband's cheek.

Haikal could only remain silent in the face of his wife's emotional attitude. Not that he did not dare to fight, but he was reluctant to argue with his wife especially in a state of emotional control like that.

Although the rain still fell, hearing the commotion in the house, residents around the Yuri housing complex, which is mostly women, immediately came to see the incident. They whisper to each other, guessing what makes Lisa so angry and the heart to drag Yuri violently.

"Already, Lis. Stop hitting him! Shame on seeing people!" Haikal again held Lisa's hand to stop beating Yuri who was still sitting down, crying in her yard.

"What a shame, Mom! Everyone here should know who this woman is!" lisa again.

"Mothers all, know it! The presence of this widow in our compound is already very troubling! She was already flirting and having an affair with my husband! And mothers are ready too. Surely she will tease your husbands too!" Lisa shouted out loudly inciting the citizens who gathered there.

They whispered to each other again. "It looks like she is, Yuri is a widow. I heard before living here he was also kicked out of the house before, for having an affair with someone's husband," a mother there told her partner.

"Yes, that's right" whispered another mother.

"Let not our husband be tempted by the widow. We'd better get him out of this compound!" Another mother also instigated.

"We got him out of here!"

"Yes, let's get him out!"

The loud scream sounded. Although it was still raining, the mothers who had been crowding hurriedly broke into the courtyard of Yuri's house. Some carried stones, brooms, clubs, pans, spoons and anything they could use to beat Yuri.

"Wait on! Don't misunderstand me first. That's not all true!" whinek Yuri was frightened, trying to defend himself from the rampage of the citizens.

"Please let me go! I am innocent!" Yuri continued to whine and pince.

The citizens who had been incited, did not care at all for Yuri's scolding. They flocked Yuri's hand and dragged her out of the courtyard. The mothers also beat Yuri's body with their tools.

While the men in the area did not dare to help Yuri. Not out of fear or anything, they are just lazy if they have to fuss and fight with their wives if they try to stop it all.

The desperate Yuri was also completely unable to fight back. He could only cry and whine as those people dragged and beat him all out. However, the self-saving instinct remains in Yuri. Unable to resist the attacks of the citizens who continued to beat him, Yuri tried to escape.

With the rest of her strength, Yuri ran as fast as she could to leave the compound, and the citizens were unable to chase after her.

The escape eventually leads Yuri to a bus stop and meets Pandu with his wife who is experiencing contractions there.
