Eps. 39. Unsuspectedly

Yuri widened her footrest and walked quickly away from the CEO's study.

"Don't see Mr. Hans and Ms. Tamara or anyone else see me in this place!" he thought, as he continued walking through the hallway and towards his study. His eyes swirled and his head turned to the right and left, making sure no one saw him while he was taking pictures and recording what had happened between Hans and Tamara in the previous room.

"Why do you look so nervous?"

Yuri flinched in shock and her heart pounded very fast. He did not realize that Nita was suddenly behind him and patted him hard on the back.

"Belg ... Sister Nita! Just surprise me!" Yuri rubbed her chest and set up her increasingly hunting breath. Of course he was very surprised and unexpected, Nita turned out to be nearby without him noticing at all.

"Ha ha ha .. you coward! You think this place has ghosts. After all, where there are ghosts of such broad daylight." Nita chuckles at Yuri's confession which seems so innocent to her.

"Ah already! Cepatan back to your study! It's noon, you should be home soon, right?" While continuing to chuckle, Nita who had just come out of a toilet in the hallway, immediately passed leaving Yuri.

"Uh .. Good thing I can find an excuse and Ms. Nita doesn't ask me anymore!" Yuri again rubbed her chest and sighed deeply.

Not finished his surprise, his hearing senses again caught the sound of the door creaking open and the clattering of steps also sounded towards him. As quickly as lightning, Yuri's legs moved into the toilet and hid because she knew Tamara and Hans were walking out of the CEO's office.

"Hans, are you going to buy me the diamond ring we saw yesterday?" Tamara expresses a wish to Hans. As the two of them passed through the still-deserted corridor passageway, Tamara was writhing spoiled in Hans' hands and holding him very affectionately.

"So dong, honey! And if you really want it, I'll buy you two rings at once!" hans replied lightly while poking Tamara's chin and smiling seductively.

"Well, thank you so much, Hans. You really understand everything a woman wants." Tamara smiled happily and pressed her hand against Hans's.

From behind the wall of the toilet, Yuri could only exhale rough breaths. What his ears recorded from the conversation between Tamara and Hans as it passed through the passageway, made various feelings fill his mind.

"Astaghfirullah al - adzim." Yuri rubbed her face slowly. "Is it really all I see and hear today? Why did Ms Tamara betray Mr Pandu and have an affair with Mr Hans? Didn't Mr Pandu say they were just old friends?" Yuri shook her head, still unable to believe everything that her ears heard and her eyes witnessed that day.

Yuri accelerated her pace towards her study.

"Kok you're still here too, Yuri? I thought you were coming home?" Nita looked in wonder at Yuri who had just returned to her study. Fifteen minutes passed by from twelve in the afternoon, and it was time for him to go home.

"Yes, Mother. I'm going home now." Yuri rushed to clean up all the papers that were still scattered on her desk and turned off the computer.

"Today I'm late to go home again. Mr. Pandu and Chia must have been waiting for me," he said. Not wanting to waste any longer, Yuri immediately grabbed the bag and walked out of her room. Not forgetting he said goodbye to Nita, then accelerated his steps to the elevator to get down to the lobby of the very magnificent office building.

Yuri was completely aghast and instantly widened her eyes, as she looked closely at who the woman who was now standing in front of her was. Although he had never met the woman in person, but from the news he had read on social media and the stories of his coworkers, Yuri immediately knew who the woman was.

"Miss Sisca!" Yuri's face instantly blushed. Shame, nervous, awkward and also hesitant immediately filled his heart, realizing the presence of the only daughter of the owner of the Hardianto Corporations company was standing right before his eyes.

"You ... employees here huh?" The slightly geeky-looking woman asked politely to Yuri, after glancing at the identification card still attached to the shirt worn by Yuri.

"Yes, right, Non Sisca. I'm just an intern here" Yuri said as she bowed respectfully and Sisca only slightly nodded her head. Behind her usual appearance, Sisca was quite a friendly woman. Although she was the daughter of the owner of that company, but she had a humble nature. Very different from the behavior of Hans who always looks arrogant and bragging.

At the same time, Yuri also remembered that her phone had fallen when they collided with each other and the phone was now right next to Sisca's feet.
