In the hospital's IGD lounge chair, Yuri and Pandu sat next to each other and waited for Tamara, who was being treated by medics.
While pressing his forehead and face that looks panicked, Pandu just kept silent without saying a word.
"I'm sorry, Mom. It all happened because of my fault. But, I never wanted to hurt Tamara. It's all happening out of my control." Yuri expressed regret and tried to melt the atmosphere that still felt tense between her and her husband.
Pandu remained silent, not responding to Yuri's remarks. He just glanced back at his wife and put on a flat face.
"Mas, don't shut up. Come on, say something!" Yuri held Pandu's hand and shook it, hoping Pandu would talk to him.
"Shut up, Yuri. I don't want to talk to you" said Pandu in a cold tone while taking his eyes off Yuri.
"But, Mas ... " Yuri looked at Pandu's face with misty eyes. His tears welled up, when he realized the attitude of Pandu who seemed to blame himself for what was happening to Tamara.
"Excuse me, Sir. Are you Tamara's mother's husband?" A man wearing a snelli and a stethoscope hung around his neck, rushed over to Pandu and Yuri.
"It's true, Doc." Pandu stood up from his seat and approached the doctor.
"How's Tamara doing, Doc? Is she okay?" ask Pandu in an anxious tone.
"Tamara's mother is bleeding, sir. It seemed like a violent impact on her stomach and we apologize, because we could not save the fetus in her womb" the doctor explained with a sad expression explaining Tamara's condition.
"What, Doc? Tamara miscarried?" Pandu rounded his eyes, as if in disbelief hearing the doctor's explanation to him.
"Yes, Sir. Therefore, we must immediately perform the act of curettage," continued the doctor again clarified his description.
"Innalillahiwainnaihirojirojiun." Yuri who heard the explanation of the doctor went up and approached Pandu and the doctor and rubbed her husband's shoulders.
"Yes, God, why is it like this?" Pandu squeezed his hair, feeling sorry as well as sad.
"I'm sorry, Mom. I didn't know it was going to be like this" Yuri regretted again, showing guilt towards Tamara. However, Pandu still did not respond to everything Yuri said. He just turned his face not wanting to stare towards Yuri anymore.
"I'm sorry, sir. Now, we also need the signature of the Father as an approval of the actions we will take against Ms. Tamara," the doctor said, temporarily diverting everything that happened between Pandu and Yuri.
"Good, Doc. Just do your best" said Pandu, while reaching for a map with several sheets of paper in it that the doctor presented to him. Without wanting to delay the time, Pandu rushed to sign it.
"Thank you, Mr. Pandu. We'll deal with Tamara's mother soon. While waiting, you please take care of his administration at the cashier," concluded the doctor, while taking back the paper from Pandu's hands and rushing back into the IGD room.
As per the doctor's advice, Pandu went straight to the cashier counter to complete the administration and left Yuri alone in the waiting room.
While waiting for Tamara to undergo a curettage process, Pandu and Yuri still do not talk much. The more palanquin was just silent, not responding to what Yuri was trying to talk to him about. All of that makes Yuri feel wrong at the same time sad. He felt, Pandu must have really blamed himself for all the events that befell Tamara that day.
"Already, Yuri. There's nothing we need to talk about right now." Pandu returned only coldly, without turning his head towards Yuri.
Hearing Pandu's reply, Yuri was no longer able to hold back all her feelings. Her eyes suddenly glazed over, not knowing what else she had to say to apologize from her husband.
After a few minutes of silence, the door to the IGD room opened. The doctor who was handling Tamara, came out of the room while approaching Pandu and Yuri.
"How is Tamara, Doctor? Is the curette going well?" Pandu immediately asked, very curious about the state of Tamara.
"Already, Sir. Mother Tamara's condition is currently very stable and she is also familiar from the influence of anesthesia that we give her. Currently, patients still have to undergo observation first for several hours," explained the doctor.
"Can I see him, Doc?"
"Oh yes, Please. Tamara's mother also had time to ask you earlier, Mr. Pandu." The doctor raised his hand to allow Pandu to enter the IGD room to meet Tamara.
"Thank you, Doc." Pandu rushed into the IGD room while Yuri, just followed him to the IGD door.
On the bed in the IGD room, Tamara appeared to be lying weakly. His body was not completely free from the influence of anesthesia so his head still felt a little dizzy and his vision was twitching.
"Tamara, how are you? Is it better?" Pandu who is now standing next to Tamara's bed immediately asked and rubbed Tamara's face that looks still pale.
"Mas Pandu," called Tamara softly with tears streaming down her cheeks, knowing Pandu was already nearby.
"I lost my baby, Mom. And all because of Yuri's cruel deeds! He is the cause of all this, Mas," hardened Tamara with his sobs while holding her hand tightly.
"From the beginning, Yuri had been expecting all this. She wanted the one that really didn't want me to give birth to my baby, because she wanted to immediately kick me out of our house. She deliberately miscarried me, so you could divorce me soon, Mas." Tamara further hardened her cries and bestowed all the blame on Yuri, as if she was a victim.
"Already, Tamara. You don't think about all that. It is not good to blame others for what has happened. Every act, will have its karma. Maybe all this is fate and you should be able to accept freely," Pandu advised the woman who is still his wife.
"Mas, now that I'm not pregnant anymore, does that mean you're going to divorce me soon?" Tamara asked with tears flooding her face.
The fear that Pandu will soon end their relationship now fills his heart. After there is no more baby in his womb, according to what Pandu had said before, surely he will immediately divorce himself.
"You don't have to think about that first, Tamara. Think about your own situation. I want you to recover soon and you can get out of the hospital soon, "please Pandu, don't want Tamara to think too much about their divorce.
Unbearable tears trickled down Yuri's eyes, when she heard Pandu and Tamara's conversation. He who had been standing before the door, was immediately back in the waiting room chair.
"Your staff, Tamara. Why do you blame me for all this? I'm not the one who threatened you, nor do I intend to harm you let alone make you lose your baby. But why are you blaming me for all this?" Yuri covered her face with both palms and cried sobbing. Upset, angry and disappointed as if churning in his heart. He did not expect that Tamara was that easy to influence Pandu and bestow all wrongs on him.
