Time crawling picks up the night. The streets began to look dark, but the atmosphere seemed lively decorated by flickering vehicle lights and street lights that had been lit in every corner of the city that night.
Pandu runs his car faster and wants to arrive at his home soon after picking up Chia from Yuri's rented house. Along the way, Chia looks to have fallen asleep in the baby car seat, and of course Pandu did not have the heart to see his little daughter sleeping in an uncomfortable position in the car.
Upon arrival at home, Pandu immediately put Chia to sleep in her room. The only child of Pandu was never fussy. Pandu was also used to leaving her to sleep alone in the room. It's just, Pandu often awake to check the state of the baby.
Knowing that Chia was sound asleep, Pandu chose to rest on the living room sofa. While interrupting his legs, Pandu played with his cell phone there.
For a moment his eyes glanced towards the clockwork on the wall clock in the room. The time had already shown at eight o'clock and his wife had not yet reached home. However, Pandu is not too confusing, because coming home late has become a habit of Tamara in recent months.
Pandu frowned and sharpened his ears when he heard an unusual sound coming into his yard.
"Whose car is that?" The guide immediately moved from the sofa. He slowly peeked out from behind the living room curtains and made sure whose car was in his yard.
Pandu quite felt dumbfounded. A white compact SUV, made in Japan, was parked in the yard and his wife was seen coming down from the steering wheel.
"That, Tamara! Whose car is he wearing?" Pandu was surprised because the tumben that day Tamara went home alone without taking an online taxi.
"Who are you going home with, Tamara?" Pandu immediately asked, when Tamara had just walked into their house and passed the living room. The guide sat with his back to Tamara, and both hands crossed at the chest. His face looked flat, a wry smile adorning his lips.
"On your own, Mas. Who's driving me .. You've never picked me up again!" Tamara answered with a stern answer. Because in that way, he was sure Pandu would not ask any more questions against him.
"Whose car are you wearing?" Pandu asked and interrogated again.
Hearing Pandu's question, Tamara immediately raised one end of her lips. "That car is mine, Mom! I just bought it straight from daeler!" Tamara replied with her arrogant grin.
"Where did you get the money to buy that expensive car, Tamara?" stretcher Pandu. He certainly understands that the price of the car that was just brought home by Tamara was not a lower class car, but a car that cost not just cans. Only the upper middle class can afford to own such a car.
"Ha ha ha .. You ask where do I get money from? What kind of silly question is that, my friend?" Tamara chuckles.
"I've been working hard all this time, from morning to night, what do you think, Mom?" he said, full of satire and seek justification of himself.
"Listen yes, Mom! Just so you know, I just got a very high bonus from Mr. Tim, because I've won a big tender with one of Hardianto Corporations' major subsidiaries. And all that I got because of my hard work all this time, Mas!" continued Tamara, affirming all her explanations.
Not to mention the surprise Pandu will the car, Pandu back to link the two ends of his eyebrows. Tamara's hands at that time also look full of shopping bags. Boutique logos and well-known jewelry stores are on those shopping bags. Of course, Tamara also just finished shopping for other luxury items.
"And those bags ... Did you also end up shopping for luxury items again?" Pandu stared intently at Tamara and pointed at the shopping bags in her hand.
"Like to shop anything, Mom. I bought it with my own money." Tamara again poked her lips no matter the reprimanded sentence from her husband.
"But I don't like it when you spend too much money on your own interests without ever caring about Chia's needs, Tamara!" Scream the Guide, growling and raising the pressure of his voice. She is unhappy that Tamara has always been selfish without ever caring for her daughter.
"Loh .. All that is your responsibility as the head of the household, Mas! Why blame me?" reply Tamara snapped with her spicy grin. "Oohh, yes .. I understand, Mas. You want me to meet all of Chia's needs, because right now your income in the store is not enough right?" his lips with a sentence that increasingly makes Pandu's ears hotter.
"I know from the first your income from the store is not much, Mas. But you always pretend to forbid me from working! We deserve to have nothing until now. Do not buy valuables for me, for daily needs only .. we are just mediocre!" hardik Tamara, bestowing all wrongs upon her husband.
"Enough, Tamara! Watch your words!" bentak Pandu's. "I have never been able to buy you such luxury items. But with all my abilities and efforts, I always try to meet all our needs!"
"What is it, Mas? The proof of our lives is just this! Do you think the house we live in is quite large and luxurious? What, the car you have is good enough?" hina Tamara humbles her husband.
"Shut your mouth, Tamara!" Unknowingly, Pandu's hand was raised. All the insults from Tamara made her so angry and offended.
"What do you want, Mom? Slap me?" Tamara did not look afraid of her husband's anger at all. "Come, slap me if you dare!" her challenge while looking intently at her husband and also showing her anger to Pandu.
Pandu snorted in annoyance while lowering his hand. No matter how angry he is with Tamara, he still cannot play a hand, especially if he does all that to a woman who is his own wife.
"Already, Mas. I'm tired! I don't want to waste energy fighting with you anymore!" concluded Tamara while turning around and stepping towards her room leaving Pandu alone with his anger in the living room.
The guide rests his back on the back of the sofa and squeezes his hair and head violently. He sighed deeply and tried to temper the emotion that was still burning on his chest. All of Tamara's behavior makes her feel even more unappreciated by her own wife.
He was increasingly aware of the disharmony of his relationship with his wife. For some reason, the love that used to be so strong between them, seemed to have faded. The hope of having a happy family completely after the presence of a child in the middle of their family, also seemed extinct, run aground with the change in Tamara's attitude that is increasingly becoming.
After the quarrel, again Pandu and Tamara did not talk to each other. Even when they sleep they turn their backs on each other and do not want to meet each other face to face.
