Eps. 33. Accepted Working

Warm sunshine accompanies the brightening of the morning on a new day.

With a slow step and a little nervous, Yuri stepped into a magnificent office building located in the middle of the city.

As stated by Pandu, that morning he came to a company office that was famous enough to attend a job interview.

Yuri's heart was pounding, her hands and feet were trembling and cold sweat soaked her palms uninvited. A sense of groggyness and lack of confidence filled his soul. Understandably, the first time he will take a formal job interview to apply as an office worker.

In the waiting room of the personnel office, Yuri sat among the other applicants to wait for the interview turn. One by one the applicants who came were called into the personnel room for an interview, until now it was Yuri's name that was called.

While bowing respectfully, he walked into the personnel manager room.

"This is my curriculum vitae, sir." Yuri handed over the map she had brought to the personnel manager.

The man dressed formally and looking to have an always calm naturedness was slowly reading through the curriculum vitae Yuri handed over.

"Oh .. So you're Mayuri, huh?" The man before Yuri smiled kindly looking at him.

"True, Mr. Rudi," said Yuri straightforwardly while also returning a friendly smile to Rudi, a friend from Pandu who previously informed about the job vacancy to Pandu.

"I and Pandu came from the same area. We used to wander together to this city to study and try our luck here. Our fate is different. Scout success with his shop efforts, whereas I can only work for others."

Instead of interviewing Yuri, Rudi revealed an old story to Yuri. It seems like Rudi and Pandu have been good friends for a long time.

Hearing the man before her, Yuri could only remain silent without knowing how to respond. All of that for a moment made the atmosphere become silent between them.

"Oh yes, Yuri! If I accept you working here, when can you start working?" Flicking his finger, Rudi asked Yuri again.

"When I'm ready, sir!" yuri replied back very straightforwardly.

"Can it be today?" Rudi's question this time sounded short and dense.

"I mean, Mr Rudi?" Yuri tried to pay attention to the man's face to confirm the seriousness of his speech.

"The guide who recommended you apply for a job here, Yuri. Me and Pandu were friends for a long time. I'm sure if he dares to recommend you, it means you must be able to work well."

Yuri just nodded and understood Rudi's explanation. "When it takes I'm ready, sir" he said, starting to be a little more confident.

"Well then, you I accept the internship here, starting today as well. I need someone who can start working as soon as possible." Rudi ended his interview with Yuri that easily. The long-standing friendship between him and Pandu makes him so confident without the slightest doubt about the recommendation of the Pandu.

"Thank you very much, Mr. Rudi." Yuri's heart was instantly filled with joy. The previous sense of doubt and inferiority, slowly began to dissipate. Although among many other applicants he was the only applicant with the lowest education, in the end he was also accepted, although while only apprenticing there.

That same day, Yuri started working part time as an intern at the company. Yuri felt very happy, because with the apprenticeship only as grand as the day there, she could still take care of Chia after she got home from work.

On the first day of work, there were not too many things Yuri was working on. As the beginning of training he was only given light assignments and helped the work of the senior admins there. He was also very happy, even though it was his first day, all the senior employees in the company welcomed his presence cordially.

"Yuri, help you copy these documents!" One of the senior admins there gave him a task.

"Well, Ma'am!" Quickly, Yuri grabbed the stack of documents that her senior meant. The pile of paper he immediately took to the photocopy room.

Accidentally, when he passed an AC standing in the corner of the room, a gust of wind that was quite strong from the AC standing hit the pile of paper he was carrying, he said, so the papers went to the floor.

"Oh .. The paper flies all." Yuri grunted himself while crouching down and started picking up the papers scattered on the floor and some even crashed far enough away.

When busy squatting while looking down to pick up the paper that crashed far enough, suddenly in the view of Yuri seen a pair of shiny black men's pantofel shoes stepping on one of the papers.

Sontak Yuri turned her head up to see who the man who accidentally stepped on the paper was, so she could not pick it up.

A tall, well-built man dressed in a very formal attire with his tie and suit, stood up and stared intently at Yuri in his haughty style. Because of the paper, the man felt that Yuri had blocked his path.

"Excuse me, Sir. Sorry the paper just fell and it's under your feet. Let me take it!" yuri said, please leave politely.

The man continued to stare at Yuri while shifting his legs and letting Yuri bend down to pick up the paper.

"Thank you, sir." Yuri stood up and looked down respectfully, yet the man was still staring at her.

"Are you a new employee here?" The man asked, as he felt that he had only seen Yuri there for the first time.

"Yes, Sir. I just started my internship here today. My name is Mayuri." Yuri still bowed her back respectfully, while introducing herself.

The man just nodded slowly and smiled wryly. With her face increasingly looking flat and cold, she did not want to care too much for Yuri. The man immediately threw his face away and continued his steps towards the hallway that led him to a room in the office.

"Huh .. Who the hell is that guy? The style is very haughty and also very unfriendly!" Yuri grumbled to herself and felt that the man was very unfriendly, different from the other employees there.

"Be careful when you speak, Yuri!"

Yuri was aghast and jumped in shock when someone patted her on the shoulder and gave a warning sentence.

One was a senior employee there who accidentally saw the previous incident and heard Yuri grumbling and swearing to herself.

"Ma-ma-sorry, Ma'am. That old man seemed a little haughty. Very different from other employees here who are all friendly," said Yuri honestly and innocently.

"Do you know who that man was, Yuri? Just so you know he is not an employee here" the senior explained with a sneering tone.

Yuri just shook her head. "Who is he, Ma'am?" tanyanya.

"He's Mr. Hansel Sanjaya. CEO of this company." The senior explained who the man Yuri had just met was.

"Owh, so he's the top leader in the company, huh, Ma'am?" Yuri's mouth conicals to form the letter o. This is his first day of work, of course he does not know anyone key person in the company.

"Hm ... " The senior just shook his head realizing Yuri's innocence. Without wanting to linger there, she soon passes leaving Yuri to return to her desk.

For a moment Yuri was silent where she had originally stood.

"So that's Mr. Hansel Sanjaya." Yuri mutters. "Indeed very handsome and dignified, but unfortunately a little haughty," he thought to himself.
