55. The Cafe Cloud

"Assalamu'alaikum" greeting Surya after getting off his car that afternoon.

"Wa'alaikumsalam," replied Wulan and Keinan together.

Currently Wulan was sitting relaxing on the terrace of the house while waiting for Keinan who was playing on the floor. Thank goodness Wulan's health condition has improved now. Wulan and Keinan then kissed the back of Surya's right hand in turn.

Shofi who had just come from inside the house with a tray of drinks and snacks accidentally heard the words of his father-in-law.

"Why are you home? Assalamu'alaikum, Pa," said Shofi, who then placed the tray he had brought to the table and kissed the back of his father-in-law's right hand.

"Wa'alaikumsalam, Shof. Yes, Papa just nyampe," replied Surya.

"It just so happens that Shofi brought a drink. Drink it first, Pa. Let the relief be tired," said Shofi.

"Yes, Shof. Thanks, yes," said Surya who then took a cup of tea from the table and began to drink it.

"Sit here, Shof. Don't stand that late" Wulan said, patting the chair next to her.

"Don't you love your career, Shof? The salary you get in your company is also high, compared to other companies," asked Wulan as well.

"Shofi doesn't matter, Ma. For Shofi, the continuity of Mas Awan's cafe is far more important than the career and the amount of salary that Shofi gets," Shofi replied again.

Surya and Wulan looked at each other. Not long after, Surya seemed to nod his head slowly. He gestured to agree with his wife.

"Shofi wants to continue the business that has been built by Mas Awan from scratch, Pa, Ma. Until the time Mas Awan returns, Shofi wants to keep the Mas Awan cafe in order to keep it running well" said Shofi.

Surya and Wulan both smiled and nodded their heads in response. Shofi is grateful that both of his parents-in-law agreed to Shofi's intention to resign from the office and switch to take care of the cafe owned by Awan.
