Hearing what Tari had just said, Nanda looked at Tari desperately, for a moment she regretted what she had just heard. But upon thinking about it, Nanda realized that it was not entirely wrong. He lowered his head while closing his eyes, he was not ready to see Salma's reaction after being lied to by his own friend. Nanda was both worried and worried.
“What is all this planned for?” Salma looked at her two friends in turn. He expected Nanda and Tari to say yes, justifying what he was thinking.
“Iya Salma, but.” Nanda said, even though Salma knows the truth, but he thinks it is better for Salma to give up and immediately forget Malik because if this friend still tries to force according to him it is just a waste of time, energy, and feelings. It's all gonna be hard.
“No problem.” Salma slashed Nanda's words, she felt very relieved to know that Malik was still like someone she knew, she could not believe Malik was doing anything so bad.
Salma reached for a cell phone in her bag, she'll call someone.
“What do you do?” Nanda asked worriedly.
“Call him.” Salma said with a smile.
“Sal.” Nanda approached and held Salma's hand.
While Salma sees Nanda and stops her from searching for Malik's number on her phone screen.
Nanda pulls Salma out of the cafe. The dance that saw it chose to follow them.
“Salma you know the reason Malik asked us to do all this?” Nanda asked as she stopped her steps a few meters away from the cafe.
Salma nodded.
“What?” Nanda looked at Salma with a look of disbelief.
“Then what do you do?”
“You want to go back to him even though you know what really happened?” Nanda started to get annoyed, but on the other hand he was also worried.
“What do you mean?” Salma asked in a slightly trembling tone looking at Nanda who was also staring at her.
“Hah?” Nanda felt inexhaustible with Salma's attitude.
“Maybe for a moment we think if all this goes according to plan until the end. I was so disappointed in Malik that I hated him and it was easy to forget him. That's your wish, who loves me.”
“But... How about me? Do I love Malik? It would be very upsetting and suffocating to know a loved one is hurt, especially he is alone.” Salma.
Nanda did not blame what Salma said, he understood his friend loved Malik very much and vice versa. If indeed Salma wants to get back together with his loved ones, then it is not appropriate for him as a friend to block it. Nanda let go of Salma's hand slowly.
“Sorry.” Nanda.
Salma smiled, she did not feel disappointed with Nanda, she realized what these friends were doing was none other than for her own good, it's just that they forget a little bit that Malik is someone he loves is also an important part of his life. Salma could not be happy, if she knew that behind her happiness there was Malik who suffered alone. He wants to always face any situation with someone he loves.
Salma went back to looking for Malik's number on her phone screen. After Malik's name was found on the contact list, Salma unhesitatingly contacted the number immediately.
“What?” Salma looked disappointed.
“What's up?” Tanya Dance.
“What Malik change number?”
“No,.” Nanda's reply was brief because it was stopped by the shakes of his phone. He reached into his shirt pocket and found his phone.
“She sent me a message.” Nanda said when she saw that Malik had just sent her a message.
“He said what?” Ask Salma.
“Thank you.”
“Oh.”
“What is my number blocked?” Salma smiled cynically, she thought apparently Malik really wanted to forget himself after lying. Although he felt disappointed, but he again realized that Malik was like this because of himself, Malik did not want to share his deeper wounds with him.
“Can I borrow your phone?” Pinta Salma on Nanda.
“What?”
“Oh of course.” Although he was not so sure, Nanda finally reached out her hand that held the phone to Salma. Salma receives her phone and calls Malik through Nanda's phone.
Elsewhere, Malik has felt a little calm even though the pain in his heart has not completely disappeared. He wanted to get out of the room, but his steps stopped when he heard his phone ring.
“Halo?” Malik said as he received the call.
“Assalamualaikum.”
As his heart beat faster, a new sense of calm approached him, his feelings returned away. Malik felt a quiver when he heard the voice of a very familiar person in his ear from his phone.
Malik remained silent. And so did Salma, they did not say anything.
“Why?” Tanya Tari half-whispered to see Salma who seemed to not continue her words.
Salma slightly kept Nanda's phone away from her ear.
“Sorry, I went there first.” Salma moved away from Nanda and Tari. While these two friends just saw Salma getting away from them.
“Malik.” Salma.
“Why call me? Nanda where?” Malik asked, he tried to keep sounding calm and not expecting Salma to come back to him.
“Do you really want to give up?”
“What? What do you mean?”
“Why aren't you being honest with me? Am I so scary to you? Do I look like that? Can't accept to suffer with you? You don't trust me? What so?” Salma raised her voice a little. He said everything that had been quite disturbing him while with Malik. Malik who did not want to fight with himself in a sad state.
“Salma.” Unconsciously Malik was also carried away by the feeling, he also raised his voice. Until unconsciously it might be heard by his mother and sister.
When he realized he was not alone, Malik exhaled violently while staring at the ceiling of his room. That way, he wished he could be a little calmer.
“Iya what?” Salma replied impatiently to Malik's reply.
“Do you know everything?” Malik said he could control himself.
“Mother mu.” Answer Salma briefly.
“Yes, I can't fight it let alone oppose it. Sorry Sal is done. If you don't believe me, you're cheating. At least believe me as a coward who can not fight for his love until the end. Sorry I'm too tired of all this. Truly this is very tiring” said Malik in the middle of tears that did not feel back.
Salma also realized Malik was currently sounding crying.
“Do you cry? Do and say all this more firmly and convincingly. I can't leave you alone in such a miserable state as now.” Reply Salma.
“I cried because I was so tired of all this.” Malik was already indifferent to himself which sounded so pitiful.
“You sure?” Although also unable to stem his tears, but Salma still tried to sound not crying.
No answer from Malik.
Malik closed his mouth with one hand, if he said something, his crying voice would be heard more clearly and would probably be realized by his mother and sister who were also in his house.
“My parents are no longer against our relationship. Sorry to say it now.”
“I'm selfish isn't it?” Salma.
