Seeing Malik out of the house, Salma immediately looked back to the front and continued to advance the bike. Although the gazes of their eyes had met, but Salma who realized it immediately shifted her gaze and chose to focus forward according to the previous plan that wanted to ignore Malik if met.

Salma realized, no matter how much she wanted and Malik to be together, if the parents did not approve, it would not be possible. Actually Salma had realized that a long time ago, but this time he would not complicate the already difficult situation. He will try to ignore his feelings and someone who should accept them.

Malik sighed, only wanting not to see Salma, but in unexpected circumstances he again saw someone wanted to be away from it. Is this destiny? Malik was still looking at Salma who was getting away from him. But why can't we be together? He sighed again and then exhaled violently. Malik did not blame his fate, only now he felt complaining because he always felt pain when he saw Salma. He still loves Salma, but cannot approach her much less ask her to be together. Malik was tormented because of that.

Malik went back into the house, carrying firewood at his mother's command.

“This is for what bu?” Ask Malik when putting firewood next to Bu Siti who is cleaning fish.

“Burning fish.”

“Oh I tried to make charcoal.” Malik took firewood out of his backyard.

Malik cut the firewood into smaller pieces, then with the help of dry paper, he lit the fire and tucked it under a pile of firewood. After a while, the firewood around the paper also caught fire. Malik continued to guard the fire by blowing the tip of the bamboo directed to the fire to keep it burning.

Bu Siti has finished cleaning and seasoning the fish. Now he was sitting in front of the door watching Malik who was not far from him.

“It looks like it's enough.” Said Bu Siti saw the embers of the fire made by his son were many and enough to burn fish.

“Sini.” Malik took the fish his mother had prepared.

After putting the fish on a wire mat that serves to make the fish not directly hit the charcoal, Malik noticed the embers to keep burning. While Bu Siti only saw her son occasionally smile because he felt lucky to have a good boy, sholeh and also handsome. But in the middle of it, he suddenly remembered the moment Malik said that he was rejected by Salma's parents when asking for permission to apply. Given that, Bu Siti's expression changed because her son had not asked permission to do the same to other women.

“How is your coworker's grandmother? Are you still in the hospital?” Ask Ms. Siti.

“It's better. Yes still in hospital” Malik replied briefly, without turning his head because his mother was busy blowing the ends of bamboo to keep the embers burning.

“Day? She's a girl?” Bu Siti asked, although she had actually realized when Malik first told her, but this time she only wanted to pry a little information about her son and Tari's relationship indirectly.

“Iya.” Malik nodded.

“You brought a woman?”

“I'm sorry mom, I just helped her.” Malik saw his mother.

From Malik's answer, Ms. Siti could not find anything between Malik and Tari other than a co-worker relationship. And from the way his son told the story, his expression seemed mediocre when discussing Dance. Although Bu Siti is not an expert or school graduate who studies the meaning of facial mimicry, but a little he can understand what his son feels.

“Good.” Ms. Siti did not want to extend and did not want to ask further. She knew Malik would tell her anything if he was ready to tell her.

“Sarah to where bu?” After returning home from the hospital Malik did not see his sister.

“Says he's doing a job interview.”

“Work, he didn't lecture?” Ask Malik to make sure, although he already had a little shadow if Sarah chose not to continue her studies from Gani some time ago.

“Iya, he said for the next year he chose to work first while thinking about going to college or not.”

“Why is that? If he wants to go to college God willing I can help him.”

“Your sister is confused to continue what college, she is not like you who have had aspirations since childhood.” Reply to Ms. Siti while smiling at Malik. He said originally so that Malik did not think Sarah chose to work because she did not want to increase her burden.

“Oh so.” Malik nodded in understanding. While talking to his mother, Malik continued to pay attention to the embers to keep burning.

Upon arrival at home, Salma this time did not immediately clean up. After washing her hands, Salma approached the mother who was sitting in the living room playing a mobile phone while eating a snack.

“What is bu?” Tanya Salma looked at the snacks her mother had eaten.

“Buy?”

“Bu Yanti who gave earlier when mother came to your father in the village.”

Salma ate the snack.

Gani went out of her room, then approached her mother and shook hands to leave.

“Where?” Ask Gani.

“Just walk around here.”

“Kok use motor?” Tanya Salma looked at Gani's hand which held the key of the motor.

“Just lazy walking.”

“…”

Salma opened her mouth to say something, but Mom stopped her.

“She's going to college soon, let her do what she wants while here.” Said Mother slowly in the ear of Salma who was sitting beside her.

“Dah. Assalamu’alaikum.” Gani's out of the house.

“Wa’alaikumussalam.”

Salma smiled at her mother.

Gani drove his bike casually while looking around if there was a friend or an acquaintance. Gani only needs friends because she feels too often stay at home after graduation yesterday.

Gani was in front of the post, but saw no one there. He returns his motorcycle, planning to go to Riki's house. After a while, he arrived in front of Riki's house which also looked lonely. “Where they go.” Gani murmured because he did not see any of his friends.

After briefly stopping his motorbike in front of Riki's house, Gani chooses to return to his house.

“Gani.” Sapa Malik in front of his house.

Gani stopped the bike.

“Where to?” Ask Malik.

“Home of Riki, but it looks like he's not home.”

“Oh.” Malik nodded and resumed his activities that were arranging firewood.

Seeing Gani not leaving, Malik asked again.

“You continue college?”

“Iya, I want to go to college at my uncle's place.” Reply Gani with a smile.

“Your uncle?” Ask Sarah who just came.

Gani is unaware of the whereabouts of Sarah who heard his words.
