After Salma finished her work in the operating room, she returned to her study. He sat down on a chair and faced the computer screen on his desk.
Salma's current feelings were very different from the ones she felt before returning with Malik. Before his meeting, when Salma remembered Malik, the feeling of pleasure was only for a moment he felt, the rest was pain. Right now, it felt like there was nothing for him to worry about because it seemed that the main problem that had blocked his feelings had disappeared. His parents' blessing was within his grasp.
Salma smiled considering that her relationship with Malik was no longer opposed by her parents. All the pain that he had been feeling because he could not forget someone who kept him struggling not to think about it anymore because the circumstances that had not wanted him with Malik seemed to be coming to an end. From now on Salma does not need to try to do it again, it's just that he needs a little patience to wait for someone who is always in his heart to come to his house to do the thing that was once done, just that he needs to be a little patient to wait for someone who is always in his heart to come to his house to do the thing that was once done, he came back asking for permission to apply.
“Doctor Salma, doctor is inside?” Someone knocked on the door of Salma's closed room.
Hearing that, Salma regained her senses, she moved back to open the door.
“Iya, what's up?” Salma answered as she opened the door.
“Resya.” Salma said when she realized that her friend was now in front of her.
Resya furrowed her brows seeing Salma's treatment look different.
“What do you think?” Resya asked still looking at her friend who was standing right in front of the door. Unlike usual, this friend left himself to open the door for him.
“Nothing.” Reply Salma with a smile.
Resya certainly did not immediately believe what Salma said, his friend seemed more excited than usual.
“Do you hide something?” Resya said as she passed Salma, she entered her friend's study.
Seeing Resya enter his room, Salma chose to follow Resya and closed the door of the room.
Previously Salma never told about Malik to Resya, he has not told the story of his romance with Malik to this friend and co-worker. If Salma were to tell what she was feeling right now, wouldn't that be too shocking for Resya. Moreover, Malik also has not come to his house which likely means there is still a lot of time that Salma needs to be patient waiting for the anticipated day to arrive or in other words is still far from the sure word though he felt sure Malik would do as he expected. Salma was afraid that something uncertain would be revealed first.
“I'll tell you later.” Reply Salma, then sit back in her chair.
Resya did not feel satisfied enough with Salma's answer, she tried to re-assure her guess that thought this friend had been told by the boss first that he would raise his salary or this was about men. Resya found it a little difficult to tell her first guess, she chose to confirm her second guess first.
“Have you found Pratama replacement yet?” Resya said as if she was teasing Salma into telling the truth.
“Ya that kind of thing.” Salma gave her happy expression.
“You have a girlfriend again?” Resya said as she closed her mouth with one hand as if slightly lowering her voice.
Although he sat up straight, trying to do everything as he used to do, in his heart Malik was whimpering. The pieces of happiness that he painstakingly stacked and felt almost finished were broken again, the pieces were again scattered. His tears had even felt dry, all he had shed in his long night. Malik can't sleep well at night. His heart really feels sore. But Malik still makes himself look like a coward, he can't do anything to fight for his feelings.
Malik occasionally exhaled slowly and closed his eyes. The happy and hopeful feeling he had felt now had disappeared. Malik is still the same, he cannot give up Salma, but he cannot fight his mother either. Ms. Siti did not give him the blessing to re-apply to Salma, someone who still continues to shadow her.
In front of the door of the teacher room, from a distance Dari noticed Malik who looked aloof and uncharacteristic when the break time arrived he always went to the teacher's room. He saw Malik, Dari chose only to see his co-worker from a distance.
Not feeling the doorbell rang, Malik realized from his daydream. He went to class to do his job again.
‘’’’’
It was almost ten minutes after the 6th grade ended, but Malik did not return to the teacher's room. Recalling what she saw during the break, Tari was worried. He chose to confirm what happened to his co-worker, walking towards the 6th classroom where Malik was teaching.
Dance's steps came to a halt when she saw Malik still sitting in the teacher's chair while holding his head with both hands down.
“Pak Malik.” Tari said seeing Malik was not okay.
Hearing someone was nearby, Malik exhaled his breath trying to keep looking nothing had happened to him. However, it seemed like this time he had been caught off guard, he could not hide his pain.
Dari looked at Malik with worry, Malik seemed sad despite trying not to show that. Dari saw clearly Malik had just wiped away the tears that had fallen on his eyes.
Malik realized he could not hide his condolences, he chose to give up and closed his eyes.
“Sorry.” Dance chose to return to the teacher's room. He said he had no right to know what his co-workers were feeling and that he had no need to comfort him either. Dance turned around and stepped up to leave Malik. However, his steps again came to a halt, when it sounded Malik calling out to him.
“From.” Malik.
“Can I ask you for help?” He continued, trying to utter in the middle of his cries.
Dance came back a little closer to Malik, actually she felt worried about someone who was now standing in front of her.
“Didn't you ever say you'd help me for the good of Salma?” Malik tried more calmly.
Dance nodded. His mind felt instantly hollow, right now only a feeling of worry enveloped him.
“Help me to make Salma hate me.”
