“Salma.” Malik.
It did not feel Malik said the name Salma. Although not spoken out loud, but it can be heard by Tari who is beside him. Malik, who has always missed someone standing in front of him, is in silence who cannot do anything for his longing feelings all this time, other than just paying attention from social media. He felt his heart beat faster again because he met someone he really missed. But because of the circumstances of those who force make the decision to forget each other, Malik must be able to withstand his emotions. He just stared at Salma with the greatest possible longing. Malik doesn't want to complicate Salma anymore.
While Salma, her heart was full of seeing Malik staring at her. Want to feel like he immediately approached even if just to ask, how are you? Are you going home? How long were you in the village?. All of those questions could only be spoken in his mind. Salma wanted to smile and call out loudly to someone special in her heart who was now in front of her, but again she could only do so in fantasy. Salma could only look at Malik.
Dari saw Malik staring at Salma. His gaze looked so different that he who saw it could not say anything. Dari turned her eyes to look at Salma who seemed to be also staring at Malik.
“Dance. What are you doing here?” Salma's question blew away the thought of Tari thinking of Malik whom she had never seen before staring at a person like this. Stares like miss but also disappointment.
“My grandmother is being treated. Ye? Oh you doctor here?”
“Iya I work here.”
“Wah you turned out to be a doctor, amazing.” Puji Dance.
Malik chose to take his eyes off without saying anything. Although he was eager to ask Salma who had always wanted him to know, but he chose not to do it. He had to give up Salma and wanted to get used to being near Salma so he didn't feel anything. “I can definitely.” His mind encourages itself.
“Oiya do you guys know each other?” Tanya Tari was curious because she had heard Malik mention Salma at a glance.
“Iya, we sekampung.” Salma nodded.
“Oh so.”
“Hmm well Salma I went to my grandmother's room first. Looks like we'll see you often later.” Dance continued her steps.
Salma nodded with a smile.
Malik walks behind the steps of Dance. While Salma was still standing, slightly pulled himself aside to give way.
Salma couldn't help herself from seeing Malik. When he passed her, he saw Malik who did not look at him. “He seems to have forgotten me.” Her thought.
This isn't the first time Malik seems to ignore him. Even a few times after their love began to bloom a year ago, Salma who wanted to ask Malik to both fight for their feelings, but Malik never gave him a chance. Of all that, the one thing that Salma realized and still feels to this day, the gaze, the smile and perhaps the love that was not conveyed with the words of that time was sincere. It was able to warm his cold heart, dye his day sheet and calm his worries. Salma is still hoping for an end with Malik, knowing it will probably only always be hope.
Malik again felt an unhealed wound, his heart whimpering for not being able to do anything to someone he missed despite having the chance to meet. If he can't do anything and say anything, his wish is to stand staring at Salma. But because it was just his wishful thinking, Malik had to accept every current that carried him. He doesn't want to give Salma any more hope.
After crossing paths, Malik turned his body to look at Salma. But unlike when they were in the middle of the road a year ago, when he turned around and found Salma staring at him from a distance, they smiled at each other. This time Salma walked in the opposite direction without turning her head. “I hope he's not like me.” His mind did not want Salma to feel the pain he felt.
“Malik.”
Dari called because Malik was silent and seemed to be staring at Salma who was getting away.
“Iya.” Malik immediately averted his gaze and proceeded to follow Tari.
“What's up?” The dance is curious because since Malik looked different when he met Salma.
“Nothing.”
Dari chose not to continue with her question and not to think about it.
“Oiya, I just remembered it was Salma who said that she was from the village of Pure Cipta to me first.”
“You know where?” Malik asked back.
“She's my High School friend.”

“Assalamu’alaikum.” Malik knocked on his door.
“Wa’alaikumussalam.” I heard the answer from within.
Sarah opened the door immediately.
“Kakak.” Sarah was happy to see her sister back.
“De, which mother?”
“Mother again washes rice inside.”
“Nak.” The voice of Siti called out to Malik.
“Iya bu.”
“Kok it wasn't you who did it?” Malik looked at Sarah with an introgating look.
“I just came from warung.”
“True.” Malik approached his mother immediately.
“Truly.” Sarah nodded to convince. Malik smiled at his sister.

Nanda was in the operating room with some of his colleagues. Today he's going to do surgery without Fiki. Earlier this morning, Fiki had successfully performed a major surgery on a heart disease patient. He was given the privilege by the hospital superiors to rest and not do any more work today. Hearing that, Fiki was delighted, she did not go home immediately and chose to remain in the hospital.
About an hour before Nanda entered the operating room, she approached Fiki into her room who had just completed the operation.
“Congratulations.” Nanda said in front of the door.
Fiki felt a sense of tiredness felt after being in the operating room for several hours immediately faded to see the smile that emanated on the sweet face of someone who was standing in front of the door of his room.
“Thank you.” Fiki looks sumringah.
Nanda approached Fiki. They sat face to face separated by a work desk with a computer screen that partially covered their view while looking at each other.
“Honestly I'm a little scared.” Nanda looked worried.
“Before I moved here, you also did without me. It doesn't affect anything. You must have succeeded.” Fiki.
Hearing that, Nanda smiled and tried to get rid of her worries.
Elsewhere Salma is done doing her job today, in contrast to Resya who still looks busy to serve patients. Salma was sitting in her room staring blankly, she felt quite tired especially thinking about Malik who seemed to not want her anymore. “I need a friend.” Mumbled. Salma immediately picked up the phone to contact Nanda.
“Halo, Assalamu’alaikum Salma.” I heard a man picking up the phone.
“Wa’alaikumussalam”
“Sorry, who is this?” Salma.
