How Matcha Love You's
Disconnecting

Salma accidentally dropped the ballpoint pen in her hand. Hearing something, suddenly made Pratama and some colleagues who were initially engrossed in talking turned to the source of the voice. But being in the room and Salma outside, they did not see Salma. Salma who realized her whereabouts would be known if she remained standing here, chose to step back and go back into her room.

Danil who was one of Pratama's colleagues exited the room examining the source of their disturbing voices. But when he got to the door, he found no one.

“Who?” Pratama asked curiously, despite being curious but she remained where she was, she did not step in the slightest.

“Nobody.” Danil replied while watching around outside the room.

Danil's gaze stopped at a ballpoint pen lying on the floor not far from him. Danil took it and brought it back into the room.

“It looks like someone dropped this.” Danil while putting the ballpoint pen on his desk.

Now Pratama and Diko are in Danil's workspace. Pratama is not easy to get along with just anyone, in contrast to Danil and Diko, he has long known this co-worker from high school. But the fact that they are school friends is not many people know because Pratama rarely shows his friendship with this school friend and only occasionally together during work hours.

In his study room which was next to Pratama's room, Salma stood behind the door. He really did not expect, Pratama who had been considered as a man who appreciated and respected him said so. It turned out that all this time he had been wrong to look at his lover. Pratama really does not appreciate it and even demeans it in front of his friends. “What the heck.” Salma muttered in disappointment and smiled cynically while exhaling violently. Although for a moment he felt betrayed by Pratama, but all of that did not seem to make his heart very depressed, even now Salma did not cry, he even felt annoyed with his lover.

Back to Danil's office.

“He's not in the hospital right?” Danil asked shortly after putting the ballpoint pen on his desk.

“Salma?” Pratama.

“Iya.”

“She's in later tonight.” Answer Pratama quickly.

“Oh may be someone else who is in his room.” Danil said easily.

“Maybe, uh why did you say that?” The pratama asked.

“The door of the room was open, I even had time to think that Salma might be in his room but...” Danil chose not to continue after seeing Pratama out his room.

Pratama stepped out thinking into Salma's room to make sure it wasn't Salma. Now that his mind was a little unsettled, he was afraid that Salma would hear what she had just said to Danil and Diko, words that would really hurt Salma if she heard them. “Ahh.” Pratama muttered as he confirmed his steps towards his lover's workroom.

“Sayang.” Although it felt vibrating, Pratama covered it as much as possible because he thought Salma was in the hospital not necessarily hearing what she said to her coworkers a moment ago.

Hearing someone enter his room, Salma turned her head and when she heard Pratama who had just called her, she made a cynical smile.

“Well, I don't want to waste your time and mine. I'll just go straight on.” Salma looked at Pratama with a flat gaze. Although he actually felt very disappointed but he did not want to show it. Salma did not want to show her bad side to someone who she did not think deserved to be a place to lean and complain.

“What's up? Why do you say that?” Pratama was now very scared, even his forehead had been sweating. But again, he tried to act as if he did not understand and did not know anything.

“We are not in line, I do not deserve you and so do I.” Salma had stopped and returned. “Better we get here.” Salma chose to take her eyes off.

“What?”

“I want to break up with you.”

“But why?” Pratama began to be provoked and not controlling himself, he began to rile.

“I intend not to touch someone who is not my mahram..” Salma slightly choked.

“If that's the case, then it's not a problem. I'm not gonna force you.” Pratama.

“The problem is not you, but me. Right as you thought maybe I started it. It's a matter of time and I. And..you don't seem to be the one who can prevent that from happening.”

“What?”

Surprisingly in this situation, Salma was thinking of others. Salma remembers Malik, her heart feeling confident that Malik will take care of her, Malik is able to control time and himself that might cross the line. Therefore, Salma shed her tears, not because of disappointment someone who was in front of her disappointed her feelings, but because she missed someone else.

“Salma, I'm sorry I just jokingly said so to Danil and Diko.” Pratama.

“I cannot continue this, please help me to continue my intention.”

“Thanks for everything and sorry.” Continue Salma and leave the room.

Now only Pratama is alone, he feels guilty and wants to pursue. However, he pondered what Salma had just said, he confirmed that. He admitted his thoughts were not in line with his lover so far. She only loved Salma for her beauty and cleverness, but not for her thoughts and attitude. Pratama chose to accept Salma's decision.

Salma headed for the vacant lot above the hospital. Once there, he took a deep breath, then exhaled.

“Is this how I am sad?” Salma muttered, feeling unnatural. Instead of crying over her new fate breaking up with her lover, her heart whimpers even more for missing her first love. “Malik.” His heart was in turmoil, especially considering his last meeting with Malik. “I said I was happy? What if he was still alone?”, he thought recalling that moment. Salma felt guilty.
