HE'S MY HUSBAND TOO

HE'S MY HUSBAND TOO
Part 93 WENT TO JAKARTA

Laras releases his embrace on the mother. He looked at the old woman with regret.

"I'm sorry."

"You're not wrong, son. Everything's fate, what matters is that you're okay now." Miss Marni rubbed Laras' head affectionately.

"You've been through a lot of grief, hopefully after this, you get the happiness you want."

"To be able to get together with you is the happiness I want most." Baras hugged the woman who gave birth to him.

"But we don't know what we'll meet in Jakarta later, ma'am. However, as much as possible I will protect Mama, Ruby and Annisa."

'Including the interference of Ningsih, the former in-law.' The barrel speaks in the heart.

"You're Mom's life support now, son. Be a strong woman."

"I'm strong because of Mom, Ruby and Annisa."

"Mom can survive also because of the three of you," continued his mother.

The two women of different generations hugged again, until finally Laras realized one thing.

"Mom, where's Annisa? Baras didn't see Annisa in this house?" tanyakanya. He forgot to remind Anisa to get ready with regards to their departure later in the afternoon.

"Sorry, Son. I forgot to tell you that Annisa went to her old school. He said he'd redeem the diploma."

"Redeem diploma? What happened to Annisa's diploma, ma'am?"

"Yes, that." The old woman hesitated to explain. In the past, Annisa was in arrears of SPP. He was allowed to take the final school exam, but since he had not paid his SPP and money for the exam, his diploma was held by the school."

Barrel jerked in surprise. "So Mom just shut up? Why didn't you tell me?"

"Mom doesn't feel good to you, son, continue to be troublesome" said his mother. The woman was silent looking at the regretful face of Laras.

Annisa is a smart student at her school. He also attended his favorite school in town. In the past, before Laras left for Jakarta, Annisa had not graduated from school.

After several months of Laras Jakarta, Annisa graduated with the best grades. However, when he graduated, he could not take a diploma, because the money sent by Laras at that time was only enough to eat everyday and pay the delinquent monthly money at his school.

The quiet Annisa did not dare to tell Laras that she was in need of money, nor did her mother. They both did not want to trouble Laras.

While Laras, the woman was so busy that she forgot about this. During this time, Laras only sent half his salary to the mother and Annisa to meet their needs as well as Ruby. Not because Laras is stingy, Laras just skimp so that later he can finance Annisa's college and provide a decent life for Ruby.

Annisa, her beloved sister, should have by now

Annisa also felt unbearable to leave Ruby with her mother because of the condition of the mother who is old and often sickly.

They both stayed quiet for quite a while.

"Why did he just go to school now? Where did he get the money to redeem the diploma?" Laras was astonished. He never gave Annisa any large amount of money and neither did Annisa ask her for any money.

"It looks like it was your boss, Laras. But Annisa didn't say anything to Mom," said her mother.

"God! Nalendra is all-around," Laras grumbled. But in his heart he thanked the good man.

"Annisa did tell Mom that she intended to go to college. He aspires to be a doctor. Upon arrival in Jakarta later he plans to work first to collect money for his college."

"He's got to go to college, Mom. Let Laras find the money for Annisa's tuition. He's Laras' responsibility now. Don't let him drop out of education like Laras." The woman remembers her past, which was after High School she had to marry Galang.

"Yes, Son. We'll talk to Annisa again.

The sun is rolling to the west bank. The light didn't look as bright as it was this afternoon. However, it can still warm the earth. After saying goodbye to their left-right neighbors, Laras, his mother, Annisa and Ruby get in the car.

The neighbors waved their hands, saying goodbye. Laras replied with a slightly poignant look. After all, their neighbors are good people. Only Ningsih and Rusdi were always evil. For the rest, they were sincere and very kind to everyone.

The car quietly drove to the airport. The place where the Chandra family's private plane is waiting for their arrival.

The plane will take them back to the capital.

From behind the plane's window, Laras looked down. The village where they live is like points that are finally no longer visible when the plane is getting higher.

Laras sighed. He clasped the happy-looking hand of Annisa with his hopes and ideals that might soon be realized.

While Ruby, the boy was sitting next to Nalendra with a fluffy smile on her pretty face.
