HE'S MY HUSBAND TOO

HE'S MY HUSBAND TOO
Part 27 ABOUT GALANG

"Well?!"

"Twenty billion?"

Laras looked at Galang in disbelief. Twenty billion? That much money he gave her? For the Chandra family, that kind of money was definitely nothing, but, for a lower class person like him, of course that kind of money was a lot of money.

The question is, who is the account owner on his behalf?

"I sent all my hard-earned money during college and after college. I even added ten times what I used to send after the restaurant business I started from zero advanced rapidly."

"Restaurant?"

Galang nodded while looking at Laras who still looked surprised.

"I have dozens of restaurants scattered throughout the Capital. Not only in the Capital, but, it has also penetrated in several other major cities."

"Where did Mas Galang get the money to open the restaurant business? If Mas Galang really has his own business, why Mas Galang must bother working in Mr Chandra's office?" Baras looked at the husband.

"The first capital I opened a restaurant, I used the rest of my mother's money and salary money while I was still working in people's places. However, after getting to know Nadine, the woman helped me provide capital. He was very sure that I could succeed, and it turned out that it was true."

"The reason why I wanted to work there, is because now I'm Mr. Chandra's son-in-law."

"Nadine and Nalendra are the heirs to a large CNI group company, because Nadine prefers boutiques over corporations, so I have to be there to replace Nadine."

He looked at his first wife. I don't know what he feels right now.

"After some of my restaurants advanced, I returned all of Nadine's money. Even though he refused, I returned it.

"I want to repay you, so after I get the money, I send my money to you and mom."

Laras gaped when he heard Galang's explanation. His eyes looked at the husband. He tried to take a look but so far he could feel the man before him was not lying.

"Once again, if the money doesn't reach my hands, then who's?"

The woman suddenly trembled. She couldn't imagine her husband's five years of hard work being wasted.

Who is playing behind all this and who is slandering himself?

Yeah, he knows it's the Galang family, but who? The woman did not think.

He did not know what was wrong so they were so cruel to him, even his own mother-in-law could tell to drop the fruits of her love with Galang, her own son. What kind of old man would tell his son-in-law to kill his own grandson?

Galang got up from his seat without saying a word. This time he really felt played.

"Mas, I really never received that money a dime. Had I received your grant money, I would have had no trouble working to support me and my family!"

Galang stared at Laras for a while, before finally completely exiting the room of Laras. The man was holding back his anger.

"Bad! Who would dare to steal my hard-earned money all this time?" The man clenched his hands.

"See, if I had known who had taken my money, I would not have given any mercy!" Enragement peaked.

The man continued to step towards his room.

Meanwhile, in his study, Nalendra was engrossed in his work.

Huffhtt

The night was getting late, but the work was not yet finished. Actually he could have told Laras to do this work by giving overtime money, but he could not bear. All day the woman was busy struggling in front of the laptop and arranged all her activities.

He could not possibly have fouled Laras, because he knew she was not too used to the many office tasks, let alone that she had to manage all her activities in the office.

Again the man yawned. Drowsiness was attacking him, but he tried to defend because his job was not finished.

Without closing the laptop, the man stood up and rushed out of the room. His throat feels dry. Nalendra began to step through several rooms towards the kitchen.

"It seems that I have to place a dispenser in my workroom, so that my work time is not interrupted just to take drinking water." He muttered to himself.

If he wanted to, he could have sent a housekeeper to serve him. However, because it was late at night, Nalendra felt unbearable.

"That's it, isn't it Galang?" The man closed his mouth, stopping his steps. He even hid behind a dining chair.

"Do you want her to go out at home this night? Shouldn't she be in Nadine's room?"

The man rubbed his head. He had just left the hiding place when the shadow of the man had vanished behind the door of the family room, then climbed the stairs to the top floor, to his wife's room.

Nalendra continued his steps towards the kitchen. He glanced at a room occupied by Laras. The door to the room was slightly open.

The man frowned.

"What's this?" muttered.

"Isn't the night getting late and the helpers should be getting some rest? Why could Laras be so careless that he didn't close the door properly?"

The question he kept on bringing to the kitchen. He took a glass and filled it with water.

Nalendra returned to his room. The tail of his eyes still glanced at the door of the room which was still in a condition like the first one he saw earlier, the door of the room Laras which was not tightly closed.

'Basic sloppy women! What if someone comes in and sneaks into that room?'

Now you know, where did Galang get that much money?

That job is hardworking. At first he loved Laras very much and loved the mother-in-law so good, willing to sell all her assets for college expenses and become a successful person.

However, Galang turned out to be surrounded by people who are very cunning, to make the person of Galang who was originally good turned into evil.
