Part 52 REVEALED

"If it's a Laras account number, why didn't Laras ever receive the money for a penny?"

"W-what do you mean, Galang? That woman must be lying! Obviously every month he receives money from you!" Ningsih's voice tone was rising. However, in her real heart the woman was very panicked. He was afraid that Galang would know his secret all along.

"The woman lied to you!" shouted Ningsih.

Galang looked at Ningsih with an unreadable look. Why did she realize that her mother had been so good at lying?

"You'll see, Mama will make him confess! Admit that in fact the money you sent was not not not not not up, but spent on fun!" Ningsih looked at Galang. He's trying to root out Galang as usual.

"In what way will you make Laras tell the truth?" Suddenly Galang's face turned cold.

"By threatening Laras like Mama often does?"

Galang looked at Ningsih who looked shocked at his words.

"I should have come home by then, instead of trusting you and letting Laras wait for me for years!" Galang's hands clenched and then hit the wall in front of him. He really regretted his stupidity in the past.

"Groof!" Ningsih was surprised to see what Galang was doing.

"Why, Ma? Why are you lying to me?"

Galang looked at the mother with two teary eyes.

"Don't you know, that Baras is the woman I love so much? Why would Mama and the others separate me from Laras? What's wrong with Mama?"

We cry now. The man broke all the issues of his heart.

"Mama would know, too, if Laras loves me too much? That woman is very good to us. Even his mother Laras was willing to sell all his assets in the village so that I could continue college. Things you can't do, because we were in trouble!"

Ningsih was silent to Galang's words.

"The money I sent for Laras was to replace all the money that had been given by his mother Laras. While others, make the cost of their daily living. If it wasn't for Laras pushing me to go to college again and if it wasn't for Laras' mom giving me the money back then, maybe I wouldn't have made it this way, Ma."

Ningsih closed her mouth.

Ningsih looks nervous. The woman panicked. However, the next second, he changed his face.

"I could have reported Uncle Rusdi and all of you to the police on suspicion of fraud!"

Ningsih shouted in annoyance, covering up the fear within her.

"I know, Mama was the one who gave birth to me, but, instead of setting a good example for me, Mama set a bad example!"

"You don't know the problem. Your mind has been poisoned by that woman. That's why Mama doesn't like you getting married!" ningsih snapped not to lose.

"Laras never poisoned my mind, Ma. Until now, the woman had even been silent, never saying anything to me. If she wanted to, she would have told me Mama's ugliness!"

"Now I ask Mama, during being Mama's daughter-in-law, did Laras ever do evil to Mama? Did Laras ever bother Mama? Did Laras ever do all sorts of things that hurt your body and mind?"

"Laras was just waiting for me, wanting to know the news about me, her husband. But what did Mama do to him? Mama even told Laras to abort her womb when she told Mama her pregnancy?" Both of Ningsih's eyes bulged when he heard Galang's words.

"I really didn't think Mama was so cruel!"

"Group ...."

"After Mama failed to get Laras to abort her womb, then Mama teamed up with Uncle Rusdi, slandering Laras for having an affair with another man and afterwards, after which, Mama was working with her, Mama again conspired with Mama's beloved sister to set up a fake account on behalf of Laras, a few days after I told Mama to ask for her account number!"
