Part 79 CALMS DOWN

"So until now Mama and Uncle still bother Laras?"

The words made Ningsih shocked. His face grew red as he looked at Galang, his son who looked back at him. The man clenched his hand.

"So this is what you're doing behind my back? What are my shortcomings in this family, Ma? I'm less of what?" yell Galang. He was banging on the wall to vent his frustration.

"Galang-" Ningsih's voice instantly came to a halt as Galang interrupted his speech.

"I'm not asking you all for anything! I never asked Uncle and Mama to return all the assets purchased with my money! But there's only one thing I ask of you, never bother Laras and Ruby!"

"That's your uncle, Galang! Your stupid uncle. He kidnapped your daughter!" hasut Ningsih's. He insisted he was not to blame for this.

"It's precisely Mama's good intentions, wanting to save your marriage with Laras. Mama told Uncle to get your wedding file so you can't get divorced with Laras. Mama's still thinking about how you feel, son," she said.

"Why didn't Mom save my marriage? Why should Mama do evil to Laras? Why would Mama take the money and slander Laras?"

The silent words made Ningsih speechless.

"Keep, what do you want after this?" continued.

"Now Mama is conscious, son. Mama knows you still love Laras, so Mama took the initiative to get your uncle to take your marriage file, so that the divorce does not happen. Mama didn't expect your uncle to go this far" explained Ningsih.

"I can't think of anything Ma. Now, I just want to calm down. If Laras has to get away from me, that's it! I will no longer force Laras to be with me." The man closed his eyes as if resigned, although deep down he could never let go.

Both of them are now sitting on the sofa. Ningsih who was sitting while crossing her legs looked at her son, while Galang had a cold expression on his face.

"Yes sorry, son. But you believe me, a mother will never want bad in her child. Mama just wants to save your marriage with Laras as a form of regret Mama because for the last five years has ignored your feelings, has hurt the heart of this mama's child." The old woman grabbed her son's hand.

"Mama wants to return Laras to you, even though it may be a bit late." Ningsih continued to try to persuade Galang not to be angry with him anymore.

"You have to fight him! Defend wife. Do not let Laras fall into the hands of Nalendra. Not to mention if later Nadine asked for divorce. You're gonna lose everything, son."

"I don't know, Ma. But obviously now my relationship with Nadine is also on the edge."

"How about you try to persuade Nadine to come back to you?" ningsih.

"It will be difficult all that, Ma, but later slowly will do Galang. Persuading Nadine is not an easy matter, especially Daddy and his mommy already hate me, because they consider me a traitor," Galang complained.

Ningsih squeezed his hand. Now he had to be more careful. However, he did not want his son's position to be increasingly threatened. Galang must remain there and be part of the Chandra family.

Galang was his gold mine all along. He doesn't want to be destroyed. If Galang is destroyed, it has been a waste of hard work all this time. Especially now that his life is completely dependent on his son. He did not want his luxurious life to be disturbed all this time. He did not want to live like his past.

The man ruffled his hair for a moment, then got up from the seat. Just as he was about to step up, his mother's voice made the man's footsteps come to a halt.

"Where are you going, Galang?"

"I'd better calm down in the apartment, Ma. I want to be completely alone."
