Part 112 DISAPPOINTMENT NALENDRA

The barrel opened the door of the room when someone knocked on the door. The woman smiled and thanked him when an OB gave her the lunch she had booked through an online app.

"Sir, the food is here, stop first."

"In a moment, dear. nanggung, a little more," replied Nalendra without turning to Laras.

The woman smiled faintly upon hearing Nalendra's affectionate call in her ears. The man insisted on calling her affectionate when they were just the two of them.

Not wanting to argue with Nalendra, the woman finally agreed to the man's wishes, including assuring him also when the man wanted Laras to be his lover.

Nalendra said he would struggle and be willing to leave everything if the Chandra family did not approve of their relationship.

"I love you, Laras." Nalendra sat next to the woman after peeking Laras cheek at a glance.

His smiling face looked at the beautiful face of Laras who was met with red.

"Eat." Nalendra.

"Why?"

"Come here!" Nalendra patted the sofa beside him. Laras according, especially when looking at Nalendra's face that looks tired.

Nalendra put his head on Laras' shoulder. The man closed his eyes. Laras took a deep breath and told Nalendra to lay her head on her lap.

The man complies. Nalendra grabbed Laras' hand, grasped it tightly then laid it over his chest. Nalendra closed his eyes, while Laras rubbed Nalendra's hair.

Barrel smiled as he saw the man instantly fall asleep. Apparently, his boss didn't sleep all night. Seeing Nalendra asleep, made Laras also close his eyes while leaning his head on the sofa.

Madame Aline rushed into Nalendra's room with a smile on her lips. The middle-aged woman looked very happy.

However, his smile disappeared as he opened the door and saw the scene inside there.

Nalendra fell asleep in the lap of Laras while the woman was seen closing her eyes while leaning her head on the sofa.

When the woman wanted to vent her anger, her gaze was fixed on Nalendra who looked very slumbering. One hand held Laras' hand.

Madam Aline let out a long breath, trying to ease her anger. Lately, Nalendra has never slept properly. Even this morning, he still saw his son struggling with work until he finally left for the office.

Since he forbade Nalendra not to get in touch with Laras other than the relationship between the boss and the assistant, the son was more silent and often ignored him.

Aline knew that Nalendra was upset by his decision, but the man chose silence instead of getting angry and fighting with him.

The presence of Laras changed everything. Not only did she break Nadine, but she infatuated her son's heart, ignoring all of her words that forbade Nalendra's relationship with her.

"So, what do you do in the office?" Mrs Aline's voice blared throughout the room. The woman could not help herself when she saw her son was getting more and more asleep while hugging Laras.

Laras and Nalendra were very surprised to hear Mrs Aline's screams. Nalendra even almost fell when suddenly Laras immediately rose from his seat, even though the man's head was still in his lap.

"Mommy."

"Ale! What are you doing with that girl?"

"What did I do? I was just tired and accidentally fell asleep for a while," Nalendra replied casually. He looked at Laras who looked nervous.

"Calm down!" Nalendra rubbed the head of Laras gently. While Madame Aline looked at the two of them furiously.

"Malentra!"

"How could Mommy calm down, you denied all of Mommy's orders!"

"Mom!"

"Mommy doesn't want to know, you just have to stay away from the woman as soon as possible. You know, 'cause he's your brother's suffering!"

"Mommy!" Nalendra let out a long sigh, when he realized his voice was too high, to make the woman who gave birth to him surprised because Nalendra snapped it.

"Sorry, Mom." The man approached Madam Aline then hugged her.

"Give me a chance to prove to Mommy that Laras is a good woman, not what Mommy thought she was" Nalendra whispered without letting go of her arms to her mother.

"Right now, he's the only one who makes me happy, Mom. I love her."

"But he's the one who's already caused your sister to suffer, Ale. Don't you understand that yet?"

"It wasn't him that made Nadine suffer, Mom, it was Galang. It was the man who had hurt them both. Had the bastard been honest from the start with Nadine, none of this would have happened."

"Mommy remember, right? Laras was the one who first married Galang, not Nadine."

"So you blame your sister for being the third person in their relationship?" Madam Aline looked up at her beloved son with dislike.

"Nadine is innocent, Mom. He's a victim too. Victim of that bastard's selfishness!"

"But Mommy can't possibly accept Baras, Ale." Lady Aline looked at her son.

"But why, Mom?"

"Because Nadine would definitely get hurt every time she saw Laras. Mommy doesn't want to see him suffer. Mommy wants to see Nadine happy without anyone reminding her of her past."

"Darling, Mommy please, for your sister's happiness, you-"

"Mommy's right. Nadine's happiness is more important, until Mommy forgets, if I want to be happy too, Mom." Nalendra looked at Madam Aline with a disappointed feeling.

"Ale, Honey. Mommy just wanted-"

"Come on, let's go!"
