He Is Not My Brother's

He Is Not My Brother's
The Days Alone's

*Hai, how are you?

Yesterday I changed my belt. Now I have a purple belt. Awesome, right? Hehe...

Yesterday I was upset with Val and Sifa. They also have a boyfriend. The things they talk about so about guys are just. Makes me feel lazy to talk to them.

You know what they're talking about? First kiss! Yeikz ...!!! Such things should be privacy and should not be discussed with others, right? (

What about your college? Smoothly? I don't seem to doubt it. My boyfriend is a genius, right?

Then how's brother? Is she okay? Is it true that she broke up with Brother Wen? Ah, is M okay? He hasn't called me since a week ago. If there's anything with him, tell me right away, Jimm.

Lastly, if there is time .. let's video-call. I miss you and your sister.

It's fine over there. Don't tease any girl!

Love, though,

The one and only Amy*

...

Amy pressed the send button. Then he kept his smartphone back in the bag.

"Who did it?“ zack asked as he sat on the front bench. Now Amy's in the same class as Zack and Val.

"Send an e-mail only."

"You want to help the school project not?“ tanya Zack who has now become the Student Leader. Olie's tenure is over and Zack is the winner of the next KM election.

"What project?“

"Our school will hold a careful intelligent race between schools from Elementary School to High School. We're short of people to be a committee, hehe ...." Zack chuckled small.

"Why do you need power, you call me? Ish!“

"That's because you're in the main row of reliable people. How's it? We need a consumption section. Pity Sifa that she is alone taking care of it."

Amy scowled. But the girl later agreed to Zack's request. "OKAY. As long as it doesn't interfere with karate's schedule."

"Thank you, Am. I'll share chocolate!“ zack shouted who immediately went out of class.

Amy breathed out slowly. In the past year, he has always occupied himself with various activities. In addition to karate, Amy helps the management of the basketball club, also often help Zack with school activities as he agreed just now.

Since M and Jimmi left, Amy has always been lonely in Larry's mansion. Mrs. Larry was very busy and often came home late. He was often just with the housekeeper at the house. Amy is therefore trying to find outside activities as much as possible. He even studied in the school library or public library rather than at home.

In this year, M and Jimmi only come home once when they have a semester off. When the three of them re-grouped and joked directly because as long as they were far apart, they were only joking on skype or phone line. That's just a few minutes.

Later, the two men rarely contacted Amy. They seem to be busy with their studies. It's been a month that Amy hasn't seen the two of their faces via a direct line. When contacted, they are always busy with their respective duties. Amy stopped calling them this week. He only sent a letter by e-mail that usually still the two men reply. Though the reply came after a few days.

"Am, can you check the bread stock? I will share this with the participants," said Sifa. He looks pulled a trolley containing a pile of boxes filled with food.

Amy who had seen the screen of her phone immediately nodded. It stands. However, his view was dark. He looked down for a moment, feeling the sensation of a heavy burden on his head.

"You okay?“ Sifa walked over to Amy and held onto the girl's shoulder.

"It's okay. It seems I'm mostly sitting down" Amy assured Sifa. "Go ... I'll check the stock is enough or not."

"Good." Sifa immediately went pushing the trolley.

Amy did what Sifa said. He counted the delicious breads that were still in his pallet.

"Boy, it seems less." The girl immediately ran towards the school hall, approaching Zack and Sifa who were distributing consumption to all the participants who had attended.

"Sif ... less stock" whispered Amy.

Sifa widened eyes. "Ah, I expected. We should have ordered more."

"What's the problem?" ask Zack.

Sifa tells the problem as well as the solution. Someone has to buy a few dozen more loaves of bread. "The problem is" said Sifa, "we can't buy in my mother's store. Today mom doesn't open a store and just makes an order for this event."

Zack seemed to be thinking hard. He tried to remember which bakery was good and close to the school. "Oh, I know! Bread Bear. They're on jasmine street, near Jimmi's dad's shop."

"I don't know the place" said Sifa.

"I knew. Let me go there. Borrow your bike, Zack!“

"alright. You can wear it" said Zack. "If you can, you'll have to hurry, Am!"

"I understand!" say Amy while going to the bike parking lot.

The sun was so hot that day. Amy forgot to wear a hat in a hurry. His black hair was sunburned. It gives off a distinctive smell if it is kissed. The pedal of the bike is fast. He didn't want to ruin the school.

Passing through the black paved road in the middle of the stinging sun made Amy's vision dim a little. There were black dots clustered framing the vision.

When Amy passes by Paul's uncle's shop, she sees Jimmi serving a buyer. Amy's eyes are getting heavy but she wants to make sure it's Jimmi, her boyfriend. Instead of pounding more, Amy's heart was getting weaker seeing the handsome face smiling at her.

When Amy looked back at the street, she did not realize that a vehicle parked across the street was blocking the road. Amy did not have time to dodge, she felt the impact and then she floated. The last thing he remembered was the black asphalt and spinning bicycle wheels.

*******

Mrs. Larry almost dropped the phone once he found out a student was in an accident from a store clerk. The woman took her bag and rushed to the principal to leave the school. He then rushed to the hospital.

Along the way Mrs. Larry crying. He hoped that the student who now lives with him was okay. She won't be able to forgive herself until something happens to Amy.

"She didn't have any serious injuries" explained one of the sisters who Mrs. Larry meet. "The doctor said he was weak because his blood pressure was low."

"Ah, thank you very much, Sus." Mrs. Larry held onto his chest exhaling a sigh of relief. He rushed over to Amy, who was behind the curtain. The girl's face looked pale. There's kassa stuck to his forehead, arms and elbows. An infusion needle was attached in the vein of his left hand.

Jimmi's mother sat by the bed and stroked Amy's hair slowly. "If M or Jimmi finds out, they'll definitely go straight home. Do you know how much they both love you?" muttered Mrs. Larry. "I envy you sometimes. My youngest son cares more about you than his mother. But I got it. You guys have spent time together. I'm rarely home and the boy is always with you and your brother to drive away his loneliness. Especially when she's in college."

Mrs. Larry pushes his body into a chair, realizing that Amy may now be lonelier than Jimmi used to be. "I'm sorry, Auntie. I should have paid more attention to you." Mrs. Larry glanced at his watch. He got up and pulled out his cell phone to briefly notify the school.

"Bi ...."

Mrs. Larry looked over and found Amy's eyes open. He held back his steps.

"Don't tell M or Jimmi" Amy said in a weak voice.

Mrs. Larry stroked Amy's finger gently. "If that's what you want, aunt will obey. But aunt will still tell your father."

Amy blinked, trying to nod in slow motion. His head still feels heavy.

********

When Amy opened her eyes the next day—still in the hospital bed—ia saw her brother's face looking worried. Amy thinks she must still be dreaming. He smiled and then closed his eyes again.

Soon the sisters came to bring medicine to the patient in the room. The smell of the drug was smelled by Amy. He opened his eyes again and found M was still there talking to a nurse who was filling his syringe with a slightly turbid liquid.

"You're up?“ tanya M looked at Amy who had opened her eyes.

"You .... are here?“ Amy tried to get up but suddenly her head throbbed and her gaze darkened.

"Hey, you can't get up yet." M helped his sister back to lie down.

"Know from whom?“ amy asked after her head returned to feeling light.

"Zacks. She wrote that her social media status was visiting you."

"Ck! That boy. You don't have to go home. I'm healing tomorrow too."

"Aunt Magda said you didn't eat. Why are you doing that stupid thing? You have to eat right if you don't want to make your sister worry."

An officer came and approached M and gave a tray filled with food. M opened the plastic warp lining the food containers and then fed Amy.

"I just forgot breakfast" Amy said before M bribed her.

"Auntie said some days you've eaten a little."

"Auntives are rarely home. How did he know?" amy said.

"Merry said it" M said, naming Mrs' housekeeper. Larry.

"You ... alone?“ ask Amy. Little hope that he'll see Jimmi, too.

M nodded. "Jimmi must finish the task before tomorrow."

"Oh." Disappointment in Amy's heart. But he tries to understand that there are things that are more important for others to do. "Then what is your job? You don't have a job?“

M put down the spoon then scratched his head. "There," he said, "but I can't do it until I see for myself you're okay."

"I'm sorry, it worries you" Amy said.

"I'm only here until the afternoon because I have to come back quickly." M placed the tray and turned the knob beside the bed so that Amy's head slightly rose from her body.

"Thank you."

M returned to feed the food to his sister's mouth.

"M .. Are you okay? I mean about Weni ...."

M smiled at Amy then ruffled her sister's bangs. "Don't worry. It was the best decision."

Mobile phone M vibrates. The guy looks at the name on the screen and then shows it to Amy. "It's your boyfriend." M received that video call. "Hi, Champ! Is your job done?“

"I can't relax! Where's Amy? I want to see it!“

"Talk with him. I'm gonna go get some breakfast first." M handed her phone and then left.

"Amy? You okay? Why your forehead? Mom says you fell off a bike and hit a truck!“

Jimmi's voice sounded anxious from across.

Amy doesn't know where to answer Jimmi's questions. He even enjoyed seeing Jimmi's disheveled face. Looks like the guy didn't sleep all night.

"I'm fine" Amy said.

"Say that on the infusion needle attached to you! I should have been with M last night.“

Amy laughed a little. He knew the guy was worried about him. "Seriously, Jimm. I'm okay."

"You said so let me not go home, right?“

Why does he know my head? inner Amy. "I want you to go home, really," said Amy, leaving Jimmi glued to the other side. "Yes, I want you to go home for the semester."

"Sometimes I doubt if you ever miss me? It seems like your life is always okay while I'm here every day thinking about you before bed so you can show up in my dreams."

Hearing Jimmi's words, Amy gave a small smile. Maybe he does look ordinary, but he also always thinks about the guy every chance. "Stupid! I—“

The screen of M's phone suddenly turned black. Amy's forehead creased, she pressed the power button but the screen remained dead. "The battery's gone" Amy murmured. He kept M's cell phone on the table next to the bed.

Amy exhaled a rough breath. A little upset, Amy pressed her lips forward and curled inwardly. Though he wanted to tell Jimmi that he also missed the tall guy.
