"Amy, can I ask you a favor?" Opheria grabbed Amy's hand and grabbed it. "Please take a picture of the two of us, okay?"
All of a sudden, there was lightning that grabbed Amy's heart. The thunder of the storm raged destroyed his feelings. However, Amy tried to stay upright and smiled. "Alright," he said, smiling.
Amy thought it would be as simple as pressing the shutter button then it's done already. He only needed to close his eyes when photographing the two of them. Actuallyno.
Opheria wants a background heart that's in the fortune-teller booth. So the three of them went there and used the services of the fortune teller first before being able to take pictures in the fresh flower arrangements that formed a giant heart.
"You have to be honest with him, with yourself." Said the gypsy-clad fortune teller after opening some tarot cards that Amy had chosen. "You're lucky because the people around you love you. But you have to remember that what you see doesn't mean it's the truth."
Finished divining Amy, the gypsy woman tidied up her cards. He stared fixedly at Amy from the tip of the white sneakers to the army hat that Amy was wearing, making Amy a little uncomfortable. Then the next speech of the great clairvoyant made Amy stupefied.
"You have to be patient a little bit, I suggest you tell the girl how you feel. You'll be happy."
Ha's? Girls?!
Apparently the fortune teller thought Amy was a boy. Damn it! How could he believe the words of the fortune teller if guessing the gender of the person could not. Amy almost trusted word for word the gypsy fortune teller.
After the session, Amy came out of the room of the fortune-teller decorated with lights and blinds that twinkled. Outside, Jimmi and Opheria had been waiting for him. Really double not fun!
"Come, Amy .. Our photos are here!“ opheria. His hand did not escape to hook Jimmi's arm, making Amy secretly scowl dislike.
"Again" said Jimmi. "You only need to take a picture of us once."
Whatever! inner Amy. He saw the reluctance on Jimmi's face. But Amy wasn't sensitive enough to know that the guy didn't like doing this.
"OKAY. Ready... three.. two.. one...."
Click!
And Amy's heart pinched seeing Opheria on her tiptoes kissing her brother's cool best friend's cheek caught on her camera.
"Ah ... image ...." Amy looked at the picture on her camera screen reluctantly. Really he wanted to just erase the picture right then and slam the camera with all his might to the floor.
"What are you doing, Op?" Jimmi distanced himself from the narrow-eyed girl who had been with him.
"Hey, I just .. want you to know that I still like you, Jimm!" said Opheria tried to get close to Jimmi but the guy dodged.
"One—times, right? The result .. good," said Amy, trying to say goodbye to the couple who seemed to be noisy. "I'm .. There's another job, okay? See you later."
Amy passes in front of Jimmi and Opheria. As much as possible he held a puddle in his eyes so as not to come out.
“Apaan, anyway, this is all? Just get pissed!“ Amy wiped the edge of her eyes and blinked many times to remove the excess water in her eyes.
After believing she was far enough away from Jimmi, Amy stops. He looked around the field which was already very crowded. He glanced at the Nuri High School's performance building quite quiet, so Amy stepped there and sat on the hidden steps towards the top floor of the building.
"She said love, but even with each other girls. He said he didn't want to bother me anymore but always appeared in front of me! Just get pissed!“ Amy drowned her face between her knees. He cannot cry now or people will ask him if his eyes are swollen.
"Lho, Am, eat first!“ Lewis shook Amy's body slowly.
Amy raised her head. "Is it time to eat?"
"Yes. Here I want to eat," Lewis answered, lifting a plastic container box similar to a child's lunch box. Just bigger.
"Can you get it for me?"
"alright. You look exhausted. Here, take care of mine." Lewis put his food box next to Amy.
"Trim's, Lew," Amy said with a smile.
"No problem." Lewis half ran down the stairs and turned towards the main entrance of the building to pick up a portion of food for his friend.
*********
After sunset, the field gets crowded. The anticipated peak event is indeed tonight at eight p.m. Dexter will perform to perform some songs.
As a committee, Amy can meet Dexter and see how cool they are in person. He even asked for their autograph on the hat he was wearing even though Amy did not really idolize them. He and Lewis can even take pictures with five cool and talented men.
After Dexter prepares backstage, Amy chooses to be alone outside the second floor of the Nuri High School performance building. Lewis told me to shoot at night just leave it to him. Amy just needs to take pictures from a distance.
The stage down there looks glowing. The crowd of young people watching was seen moving closer to the stage. Of course they are racing to be the front to see Dexter clearly. In fact, there are already two super-wide screens on the left-right side of the stage that display the situation on stage. Still, he said true fans should see with their own eyes.
Amy stood up, made her elbow a focus on the second-floor guardrail and began aiming at the crowd. Not to forget he changed the camera settings before. The audience rang out boisterous omens Dexter had taken to the stage.
"Hey ... can I borrow the camera?“
Amy turned her head and found Jimmi walking towards her.
"For what?“ asked Amy who immediately turned her eyes back to the field in front.
There was no answer from Jimmi but the guy kept moving towards Amy. When he got close, he took the camera that was still hanging around Amy's neck.
"Hey!“ amy's body is attracted as soon as Jimmi picks up his camera. He almost hit the guy in the navy baseball jacket. "What are you doing?" Amy tried to grab the camera but Jimmi was faster and pulled again until Amy's face looked up and almost touched the guy's face.
Amy looked at their distance too close. It seemed like time stopped as he stared at Jimmi's face that close. A serious face stared at the camera screen hanging from Amy's neck.
"Done," said Jimmi. He raised his head and only realized that their faces were facing very close. When their eyes meet, the two distance themselves but Jimmi forgets that the camera is still held so that when they are too far away, Amy's body is again attracted.
"Here!“ Amy snatched the camera. "What did you just do, heh?“
"I only deleted one photo" Jimmi said, scratching his nape.
"Photo .. this afternoon. You know?“
Quickly scrolling those photos. Amy did not find the photo. Photo by Jimmi and Opheria.
"Why are you deleting it?"
"Because I don't like." Jimmi leaned his body against the fence.
"If you don't like why do you do it?"
"Do what? I didn't do anything. Opheria did."
Amy looked at Jimmi's face. "But you like it, right?“
"No. If you like why I deleted?“ Jimmi looked back at Amy, making the girl turn her face because she did not want her heart to beat too much.
"Where do I know. Now, you don't watch Dexter when you always say you like them, even say you want to be a committee because Dexter is the guest star. How do I know if you really like Dexter or not."
Jimmi did not immediately respond to Amy. The guy turned his back to see the crowd down there.
"Yes. It's the second time I haven't seen their live performance because I'd rather be alone with a girl at night." Jimmi's pounding. Put your hands into the pocket of the jacket to reduce the groggy feeling that suddenly appears. "The same girl."
Amy glanced at Jimmi, recalling the events of that time. Jimmi managed to trick him and kiss his left cheek. If the lights on the second floor were bright, it would be clear Amy's red face. The girl retreated slowly, making sure the distance between her and Jimmi was safe enough.
"So ... You don't like Opheria?“
Jimmi bit his lip. He looked at Amy who was on alert. "The person I like is here."
Amy's breath was suddenly irregular. He looked at the guy in the navy jacket without blinking. "lik! If you like me why are you so close to Opheria?"
"You jealous?"
Jimmi's question stabbed Amy right in his chest. However, of course the girl would not admit it so easily.
"No." Amy shakes. "Just your words contradict what happened."
Jimmi clenched his hands and lashed the iron fence interspersed with the concrete wall slowly. "You ... still like Olie?“
"No. She ... is just the past," Amy replied without loosening her readiness.
"Then I'm sorry."
"For what?" Amy looked at Jimmi in disbelief. The guy smiled, making Amy's heart pound.
"For everything. For all the puffiness I always do, to be the cause of your bullying, to like you .. and .. to not be able to forget you. Sorry for everything."
Amy was stunned to hear the apology. Jimmi's voice sounded desperate for the first time as long as he knew the man. "It's okay. It's .. not your fault."
Jimmi laughs. "That makes me feel even more guilty" he said, as he languished sitting on the floor with his legs bent. His head was bowed in lethargy. "You know? Actually I was just walking with the girls, but they themselves confessed that we were dating. I mean my— is not quite what people think. I've only been dating a few times."
It's like seeing herself when she's heartbroken at Olie's party. For some reason, now seeing Jimmi like that makes his heart hurt. His brother's best friend then sat next to him.
"You don't like me because I'm a playboy?"
"It's not like that. It's not like that. I. .. I just don't want our relationship to change." Amy patted Jimmi's shoulder slowly. "We—meaning I—don't want it to be .. ah, no. I feel weird about you being too nice to me. I'm used to your pranks and prank. So, when you're acting unusual, I'm afraid ...."
Jimmi looked up and looked at the girl beside him. He waited for the next sentence from the tiny lips.
"I'm afraid .. I think I'm afraid of losing you" Amy said at last with an infinite sense of shame. He even turned his face so that Jimmi did not see a face like a boiled crab.
"What does that mean?" jimmi asked while trying to see Amy's face turned away.
Amy stood up and patted her ass. "No idea, ah!“ said the girl. He was ready to leave that place. His legs were ready to run fast but Jimmi suddenly pulled his arm.
"What did your words mean just now, Am?" Jimmi.
"Don't know! You can do it yourself" said Amy a little annoyed. Though he had conveyed his feelings with great difficulty but the man even asked what he meant.
"Am. Are you okay?" jimmi. He wanted to know more about the 'don't want to lose you' Amy said.
The girl turned around and looked at Jimmi with her judes gaze. "It's okay, stupid! I'm proud of you." Amy let go of Jimmi's hand holding her and then walked away. But on the third step he stopped. Amy takes off her hat and throws it at Jimmi. "For you," he said. "It was signed by all of Dexter's members" Amy continued, running up the stairs and leaving Jimmi alone.
