Threats to the Almond Family

There were some comments that attacked Mark because Mark did not prevent Reo and Indira from entering the room while kissing.

Hearing Indira's confession that she was pregnant with her son Reo, Edewina quickly left the office. He was very surprised and it felt like the news was very inviting to his heart.

Edewina quickly drove her car to their house. Along the way the woman was crying because she was sure, the incident on the night of her birthday, when Edewina saw that Reo and Indira's car was there, Mark lied and said they were somewhere else.

"Let GO.....! Release..me!" edewina shouted while trying to release herself.

The sound of shoe heels. A woman appeared. He used a short dres with long black boat shoes Unfortunately, the woman's face was covered with a veil. Behind him were several men in black uniforms. They all wear masks that only show their eyes.

"Why cover your face? What losers!" scream Edewina.

The woman laughed very hard. "You are brave. Like Mahira!"

Edewina was surprised to hear the woman mention her mother's name.

"Who are you?" scream Edewina.

The woman approached Edewina. He rubbed Edewina's face violently and quickly slapped Edewina twice.

Edewina felt a great pain on her face but she was undaunted.

"You're really brave, aren't you? Whose blood is flowing in your body? I know it's not Moreno's blood, right? Or because you're married to the Almonds so you're brave like this?" the veiled woman gripped Edewina's arm very firmly. Edewina tried to endure the pain. He did not want to show that he was scared. Seeing Edewina who was not grimacing, the woman pushed the chair that Edewina was sitting on so that Edewina fell to the floor in a tilted state with her hands and feet tied.

"Ah....H.....!" Edewina shouted because her head that hit the floor was very painful.

The woman lowered her head and stomped on Edewina's stomach with her feet.

"Ah...don't..I beg you not! I'm pregnant." Edewina said with a full plea.

The woman raised her leg. "You pregnant? Isn't your husband's affair pregnant too? You better lose your baby!" He then punched Edewina in the stomach.

"Take him off!" someone said in Spanish.

Edewina could not see the man because it came from behind Edewina.

The woman looked behind Edewina. "What are you doing here?"

"Take him off!"

Then someone's voice sounded again. Edewina seemed to have heard that voice. But he forgot where it was. Before Edewina thought clearly, suddenly something smothered her mouth from behind and finally Edewina returned unconscious.

"That's how it happened, sir. I don't know the face of any of them. Some of them only use Spanish. That guy knows my family background."

The policeman who was listening to Edewina's story immediately nodded. "Just rest, madam. If you remember anything, call us immediately."

"Good sir."

The two policemen came out of Edewina's treatment room. The woman is still in intensive care because her gynecological condition is still critical so she has never been out of bed. Even to urinate Edewina did it on the bed.

A nurse came in when Edewina finished her interview.

"Suster, I'm feeling really tired. Can I sleep first?"

The nurse smiled. "alright. Don't stress, huh? Remember your content."

Edewina nodded. He did not want to talk to Reo.

"How, sister?" asked Reo who was waiting at the door.

"Mrs Almond said she was very tired and wanted to sleep. Maybe later if he had woken up then the master could find him" said the nurse made Reo was forced to nod even though his heart was so missed by his wife.

Reo's phone rang. "Hallo, Mark."

"I've managed to find Miss Indira at the airport. We're at the hospital cafe."

"Please wait there." Reo looked at Adeline. "Aunty, will you take care of my wife, please? I'm gonna take it for a minute."

Reo immediately went down to the ground floor and met Indira and Mark who were already waiting there. When Mark saw that Reo had come, he left immediately.

Reo and Indira sat facing each other. Indira looked down while Reo looked at her sharply. "Why did you resign from the company?"

"Maybe it's for the best, Re. I don't want to disturb your relationship with Edewina. Moreover, Mark told me that Edewina was pregnant."

"But I couldn't just let you go when I found out that there was my son in your stomach. You're an orphan, Ra. Who will take care of you in Indonesia? What will your brothers and the people who were there say when they found out that you were pregnant without a husband? You will definitely be ostracized by them."

"Then what do you have to do? Marry me? Impossible? All this happened because of my mistake. I let you kiss me that night. It's all my fault. Let me bear it."

"Indira, our relationship is like a brother. The hell time I'll let you suffer like this? After all, all this happened because of my faults as well."

Reo shakes. "You must not leave England. I will take responsibility for your life and this child even if I cannot be by your side as your partner. You know, Edewina is my breath. Indira wiped away her tears. The girl looks so tormented.

Reo's phone rang again. Call from Cassie's sister.

"What's up, brother?" reo asked after he stood some distance away from Edewina.

"The police just called me. They say that the accident that experienced daddy, was intentional. Someone seems to want to harm our family. That's why you have to be careful there."

"Don't tell mommy. I'll ask the bodyguards to tighten up the guard there as well as the ones here."

"Then how is Edewina."

"He still doesn't want to see me."

"And Indira?" ask Cassie. Reo had already told his brother everything.

"I've said it like we talked about at the time."

"Goodoo. Indira is like our brother. You can't let go of the responsibility to her. Just a responsibility without building any status with it. Because you know, Edewina is the greatest love of your life."

"Thank you, brother."

"Bye."

Reo took a deep breath. He sent a message to Mark. "Indira, Mark will take you to a new apartment, whose security system is very tight. Stay there. Your stuff from the old apartment, they'll move it tomorrow. I'll be here accompanying Edewina."

Indira just nodded. He left the cafe and Reo went back upstairs.

"Where's aunt Adeline ?" ask Reo when he can't find the woman there.

"Mrs Almond called her."

Reo looked disappointed. Why would Edewina not want to meet him?
