Our Residence

They finally returned to London. A luxury seven-story apartment they now enter. This top floor belonged to Reo and Edewina.

"Whose place is this?" ask Edewina.

"Our apartment."

"But I want to live in my old apartment."

"Darling, your old apartment was small. Now we're married. What if our parents come? They need a bigger space. Anyway I chose this apartment because the distance from your campus is only 30 minutes and the distance to my office is not up to 40 minutes. We actually have a house in central London but it's a little way to your campus."

Edewina was upset. "But I'm gonna have to clean up all my stuff first. Why don't you ask me first."

"Darling, all your stuff is already there. Even your clothes have been arranged neatly in the bedroom closet. You can check if there's less. My waiter put your stuff together according to the category you belong to, so you won't be confused looking for it." reo said while showing Edewina's belongings in several boxes placed near the stairs.

Mark who came to open the door for his master immediately left the place when he saw the code from his master.

Edewina stared at the first floor of the apartment.

"Where's my room?" ask Edewina.

"Tock your room, anyway? Our room."

Edewina looked at Reo. "I don't want to sleep in the room with you. I want to have my other room."

"Win, we're husband and wife. Why should I sleep in a different room?"

"I want my own room anyway, otherwise I will go back to my old apartment." threatened Edewina firmly but she did not dare to look at Reo. Because Reo's gaze greatly intimidated him. Reo was like a hungry lion holding back his emotions because the prey seemed to be playing tricks on him.

"Dear girl, there are three rooms here. One is the maid's room. The other is the guest room. My mom can come at any time without notice. What if he finds out that we split up the room? As long as we are in Switzerland we are in the same room. But it doesn't matter to you. Why is it a problem now?" reo asked patiently while holding back his emotions.

"But in Switzerland it was forced because it had been ordered like that. Anyways....." Edewina threw away her gaze. He did not dare look at Reo's face. The man's eyes were extremely sharp this time.

"You're still sleeping in the upper room. I don't want the maids talking about us for sleeping in separate rooms. And just so you know, Vienna, I won't touch you until you ask."

Edewina was surprised to hear Reo's words. "I asked for it? Where could that be?"

"That's very possible, Edewina."

"That's never gonna happen." Edewina immediately climbed the stairs and left Reo alone. The girl looks upset. He tried to find the room in question and managed to find it. A large room with a large bed. And the girl smiled because there was a big sofa in this room.

The girl also opened the closet door which turned out to be a walk in closet door. He saw all his clothes were neatly arranged here. There are also some clothes that seem new.

When he came out, Reo was already in the room. The man temporarily undid the blue shirt he was wearing made Edewina turn her face away. Ken's body was indeed quite stocky with a flat stomach. But as a sportsman, of course Reo's body is more stocky, dense and muscular. Especially his sixpack stomach which he often shows when surfing.

"I'm gonna take a shower. Soon her housekeeper will come to prepare dinner." Reo said and stepped into the bathroom.

Edewina stared at the entire room. In the right part of this room, there is a bookcase that is also a room divider. When Edewina stepped there, there was a study table. The laptop and some of Edewina's books were there. This study table is adjacent to the balcony.

Some of Edewina's books were neatly organized on the bookshelf.

Shortly after, Reo had finished his bath. He smiled at Edewina who was looking at her bookshelf.

"We went to the same school. You can pick up some of my books if you need to."

Edewina did not respond to Reo's words. He is still upset that Reo forced him to sleep in the same room. The woman immediately grabbed her phone and headset from inside the bag. He took a pillow from the bed and placed it on the sofa. Edewina tuned her favorite song and put the headset in her ear. He closed his eyes too.

Reo could only smile while shaking his head. He knew that Edewina was showing his opposition. Reo will be patient with it. For the future he wants to live with Edewina.

"Good morning, madam. Introduce me Adeline. The butler's here."

Edewina who had just stepped down from the second floor looked at a woman who was about 40 years old. Last night, Edewina didn't come down for dinner so she didn't know about all the maids.

The girl felt hungry just when the time had shown at half-three in the morning. He got up slowly and looked for food in the kitchen. Fortunately there was food left and only it was hot in the microwave. So early in the morning he woke up late because he went back to sleep when the clock was showing at 5 am.

"Master's been in the office since an hour ago. What's the lady having breakfast?" ask Adeline.

"I want to drink milk and toast. After all, soon it will be lunch hour." said Edewina a little amused himself because it is now almost 11 noon.

"alright. In the kitchen there are 2 more servants. Their job is to clean the room while the one washes and irones the clothes. Their work hours were completed at 5pm. They'll go back to their homes. Only I live here. I have worked at the Almond house for a long time. My father used to be the chef in the family home. Mrs Riani assigned me here but every Saturday morning, you let me go home. He said he'd be back by Sunday afternoon."

Edewina just nodded. He sat in the dining room and two servants came to introduce themselves as Rose and Tulip. Edewina actually wanted to laugh when she found out that they had names like flower names. Both of these servants were in their 30s.

While breakfast, the apartment bell rang. Rose went to see on the monitor who was coming. Access to the upper floor is not the same as other residents. There is a special elevator that is directly connected to the floor where Edwina and Reo live. And they can open the elevator doors from the existing monitor screen after seeing who is coming.

"Mrs Riani is coming." said Rose.

Edewina felt her heart beating violently. He will meet a good woman. There's no way he's gonna be so jutek.

"Darling.., my son. Mommy was surprised to hear that you guys had come. Though this apartment has not been one hundred percent finished mommy prepared." said Riani then hugged Edewina affectionately.

"It's okay, mommy. It's been so beautiful" Edewina said.

"Reo is busy. While you are on holiday. Mom came to take you shopping. We'll buy some flowers, and other kitchen necessities. Since this will be your home with Reo, then you should choose it" Riani said.

"We're leaving now?"

"Yes. Or you...."

"Mrs while having breakfast" said Adelin, making Riani frown.

"Breakfast? At this hour? Then you haven't been up long? Oh..., mommy understands. Basic Reo. Like father like son." Riani smiled while nodding her head. He thought that Edewina woke up late because Reo kept her in bed until dawn just like Jack did to her.

While Edewina could only blush in embarrassment because all the servants came smiling as if justifying what Riani was thinking.

Edewina finished her breakfast and went with her mother-in-law to the store.

They shop a lot today. Edewina admitted that her mother-in-law who has now become a famous great mistress remains simple. Both went to the traditional market to buy some flowers. Edewina so remember with mommy Mahira who is also very happy to keep flowers.

When they got home, Reo was already there.

"The new Tumben at 3 pm has returned home" said Riani slightly sneered at her son.

"Mommy, her name is also a newlywed. Is that right, baby?" Reo quickly kissed Edewina's cheek making the girl a little surprised and glared at Reo.

"Don't be surprised, Vienna. Reo's like his Daddy. They are so possessive of what they have that they are so jealous. They are also not ashamed to show their love for the woman they love in front of many people. They will show everyone that the woman they love will be protected. Mommy is grateful that Reo has such a great love for you. The way to look at you with sparkling eyes does not seem like the way to look at mommy. At first mommy is a little jealous because her attention to mommy will definitely decrease. But mommy was also happy because she finally got married."Riani approached Edewina. He rubbed Edewina's stomach very gently. "Don't delay in having children? Mommy is willing to take care of it with all the time you have if Vienna is busy going to college. The child is God's gift. That we must take care of and we are grateful for its presence."

Edewina was deeply touched by Riani's words. He who is actually soft-hearted tries to hold back his tears. What if mommy finds out I've had a miscarriage?

"Darling, how are you crying?" riani asked and wiped away Edewina's tears.

"Ah, mommy can't wait for Edewina to get pregnant" Riani said with teary eyes as well.
