Reo's steps were very quick as he got out of the car and stepped into the hospital. His heart was pounding very fast when he received news that Edewina had an accident. He even got angry at his bodyguards who had been following Edewina because they were less alert.

"How's my wife doing?" reo asked as soon as he arrived in front of the emergency room.

"Silence sir, Almond. Your wife is fine. There were only a few bruises on his temples and chest. It's a good thing that Ms. Almond used her seatbelt. He was still sock because he almost hit a small child. Finally he slammed the steering wheel to the right and actually hit the road divider. His hand was also injured by a broken piece of glass." The doctor who treated Edewina.

"Can I come in?"

"Please."

Reo opened the door and immediately looked at Edewina who was sitting while leaning on the head of the bed. Seeing Edewina's face still pale and looking pretentious, Reo immediately hugged her with all the fear she felt.

"Darling, I'm almost crazy to hear of the accident you've been in. I'm so afraid something bad happened to you" Reo said, closing his eyes. He felt relieved to be able to hug the woman he loved so much.

"Reo, release....!" Edewina pushed Reo's body slowly. "I'm fine."

Reo let go of his embrace but did not keep his body away from Edewina. His hand caressed the girl's face then. "Where is sick?"

Edewina threw her gaze in the other direction. He was always unable to see the brown-eyed man.

"Only scratches. The doctor said I can go home today." Edewina. Actually, he felt pain in the chest because of the pressure from his seat belt. Likewise with his hands. But according to the doctor it is because of the influence of his muscles that become tense when turning the steering wheel quickly.

"Really, no one's sick, honey? Don't hide anything from me. I don't like it." said Reo. He held Edewina's chin. Forcing the girl to look at him.

"Just my chest and my hands but the doctor said it's okay." Edewina finally spoke when she saw that Reo kept looking at her sharply. Reo seemed to know that Edewina was not telling the truth.

"Here?" Reo touching Edewina's chest made the girl hold her breath because she felt that her body was shaking due to the touch of Reo's hand on her chest which was slightly open because somehow the buttons of her shirt were broken.

"Yes...!" Edewina shook Reo's hand.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable with that touch. I'm just too afraid something's gonna hurt you."

"I'm good. Very good."

"OK." Reo distanced his body seeing Edewina starting to be uncomfortable with the closeness of their bodies.

Mark came in after knocking on the door. "I'm sorry to bother you, regarding the madam's car, what should I do?"

"Bring it to the workshop. I'll buy you a new car."

"I don't want to." said Edewina quickly. "I want my car. Please make it back. I know the damage is severe. But I'm sure it can still be repaired. That car is precious to me."

"Why is it so valuable? I can buy a car with the same brand but the latest output." said Reo while holding amused in his heart.

"I don't want to. The car has a special meaning for me. The car was a gift on my birthday. I never really knew who gave it to me. But that guy must be really nice. I'll take care of that car. Please, fix it. It will cost me to replace him." Edewina made Reo laugh.

"Why laugh?" edewina asked a little offended.

"Don't talk like you're still a girl. Now your status is Christensen Haireo Almond's mistress. So the whole need of your life is my responsibility" Reo said firmly and unwillingly to be denied.

"I have money."

"I can block the flow of funds your parents send to your account. It's a shame on me as your husband."

"You...!" Edewina became upset because she felt that Reo was too intimidating.

Mark immediately retreated slowly looking at the heated conversation.

"Is there something wrong with my words? Now maybe you can still use the money in your savings. But I've asked daddy Edmond not to send you any more money. From tomorrow you will use the card I will give you."

"I don't want to. I told you that our marriage is only on paper. I don't love you!" edewina firmly made Reo's heart again feel pain.

"For you our marriage is only on paper. But for me, our marriage is the promise of a lifetime. We'll only get divorced if one of us dies." Reo settled Edewina sharp. But his hand moved gently to touch the girl's cheek. He brought his face closer to Edewina's face making the girl tense.

"A...what are you going to do?" ask Edewina to panic.

Reo touched Edewina's nose with his nose. His eyes were still on Edewina's. "One thing you should remember Edewina Caresia Almond ! You are already mine. And what is mine, I will never let go." said Reo quietly but deeply pierced Edewina.

Slowly Reo kissed the injured forehead of Edewina. Then he pulled his body away and got off the bed. "I'll talk to the doctor."

Edewina breathed a sigh of relief. He really doesn't want to be around Reo like this. The other side of his heart hated Reo so much that his body trembled every time Reo got close to him.

The doctor finally allowed Edewina to go home because she also did not want to spend the night in the hospital. Once at home, Edewina immediately changed her clothes, she intended to sleep on the sofa but Reo who was in the room immediately blocked Edewina's steps.

"Sleep in bed."

"I don't want to sleep in the same bed as you."

"I'll sleep on the sofa." said Reo softly.

"I've been tormented for a month seeing you sleeping on the couch while the bed is so spacious."

"Reo....!"

"Please....!"

Edewina finally gave up. He went up to the bed.

"There's an ointment to be rubbed on your red chest."

"I can do it myself." Edewina immediately took the ointment from Reo's hand. As he unbuttoned his shirt, he stared at Reo. "I can do it myself. Why are you still sitting in front of me?"

Reo smiled. "alright. I'm gonna take a shower first." Reo rushed to the bathroom. He also had to resist all the desire he had as a normal man not to touch his wife. They were married for a month and Reo could not touch Edewina.

When Edewina finished smearing the ointment on her chest, her phone rang. It was from Clara.

"Win, you're okay, right? I read it on the internet said Christensen Haireo Almond's wife had an accident."

Edewina clucked in annoyance. "Basic journalist gossip. I'm doing fine. It's lucky to wear a seatbelt."

"Which calls me and tells me that your accident is Ken. He seems worried."

"Why should he be worried that he's so alone with Sisa in his room?"

Yea...." Edewina then disconnected the phone. His mood went bad again. He believes Ken did all that because he hated himself.

"What's wrong?" ask Reo who just finished the shower.

Edewina held her breath looking at the near-perfect creation of God before her.

Reo came out of the bathroom using only a towel that covered the stomach to carry. Although the fact that he did not like Reo, still Reo's appearance like this made the girl's face hot. Because honestly, he did not see a man who looked like this directly.

"Ti..no....!" Edewina.

"Your face looks upset after hanging up the phone."I'm sleepy!" Edewina immediately laid her body against Reo.

Reo immediately moved away but he was convinced that something made Edewina look badmood.

After putting on his clothes, Reo walked up to the balcony and called Mark.

"Actually I wanted to say it when we were in the hospital. But seeing the face of the very worried master, I forgot to tell you the cause of the accident" Mark said.

"What's the cause?"

"On campus, the lady saw Mr. Ken with a girl. Name's Typea. Asian girls too. The girl was a medical student as well but still a Strata one. Reportedly he and Mr. Ken have a relationship already living together."

"So Edewina is upset because Ken who she knows as a guy who does not want to have sex before marriage finally did it too? It's worth it that he looks upset."

Reo smiled as he nodded. He looked up at the sky that looked clear tonight. Hopefully with this incident Edewina will open her heart to me.

Somewhat long Reo was standing on the balcony of his room. He then went in and found that Edewina had fallen asleep. Of course with that because of the influence of the drugs he drank. Reo picked up a pillow and immediately headed to the sofa after first turning off the room lights.

Towards midnight, Reo heard Edewina's cry.

"Vienna..., baby.....!" Reo blamed the room lights. At her sight Edewina was already sitting while hugging her knees.

"That kid...., that kid.....!" vienna said among his sobs.

"Vienna, you're having nightmares again, aren't you? Baby, that kid's okay. You didn't have time to hit him" Reo said as he tried to hold Edewina's hand.

"I was afraid to hurt her.I was afraid to hurt her." said Edewina among her deep cries.

"Darling.., you're just a dream. Nothing happened to the boy."

"Reo..., I'm afraid.I'm afraid...."

Reo instantly silenced Edewina's mouth with a kiss. No more crying sounds. Even as Reo slowly laid Edewina's body onto the bed. The girl resignedly still enjoying Reo's kiss.
