Wife Duty

It was late at night when Edewina woke up and found herself in bed. A new home. Although this room looks unfilled yet another interior but Edewina feels quite happy to be here.

He slowly got up and got out of bed. There was water coming from the bathroom. Maybe Reo's taking a shower.

Edewina stood in front of a dresser with her big glass. He fixed his somewhat disheveled hair, combed it briefly with his fingers then he rolled it up carelessly. Then Edewina went out of the room. His stomach started to sting and Edewina knew he was hungry.

When he arrived at the dining room, he was surprised to see that there was already food there. Edewina smiled as she believed that all this was prepared by Reo.

There are several bottles of mineral water. Perhaps it was because the house was still empty that Reo bought it for their drinking water.

A pair of hands suddenly hugged Edewina from behind. There was the smell of the bath soap that the woman smelled when the owner of the hand smelled her nape open.

"Sister....!" Edewina tried to shake her head because she was amused by Reo's kiss.

Slowly Reo turned Edewina's body. The two now look at each other. "Are you hungry?" reo asked as he stroked his wife's face.

"Yes." replied Edewina as she rubbed her stomach.

Reo chuckles. "You rubbed your belly making me impatient to get you pregnant."

Edewina's face was instantly hot. "Sir ...!"

"And I'd love to see you blush like you do now."

Edewina pinched Reo's chest to relieve her embarrassment.

Reo immediately carried Edewina into his arms. "I'm happy, baby. We're getting friendly like this." Then he let go of his embrace and kissed Edewina's lips. "I love you."

"I love you too, brother."

Reo kissed Edewina on the forehead and let go of her embrace. "Let's eat. I asked Mark to order some food. There was nothing in the kitchen. The plan will start tomorrow his interior design comes to complement everything in this house. Maybe one more week we can move here."

"OK."

Reo pulled the dining chair behind him and told his wife to sit down. They both ate dinner together.

After dinner, Edewina cleaned the table.

"Darling, are you healthy? Let me clean the desk." Reo said a little worriedly.

"I'm fine, brother. It's my job as your wife."

Reo's heart was happy when Edewina mentioned that phrase. There was a sense of belonging that made Reo feel proud when Edewina made him a part of his life.

"I love you." said Reo, making Edewina glance at him with a smile. "Aren't you tired of saying those words?"

"Never be bored, baby. I'm helping you, right? I'll sweep the floor."

"Could you?"

"This is my first sweeping assignment."

"Just do it, deh."

Reo took a broom and began to carry out his duties. Edewina continued to wash the dishes. After both of them were finished, Edewina dried her hands and checked the results of Reo's work. "It's clean too."

"I want to ask Aunt Adeline to come" Reo said.

"Oh, brother, can we just stay in this house?"

Reo approached his wife. "What's wrong? You don't like Aunt Adeline?"

"No. I like it anyway. It's just that I want to do my duty as a wife with my own hands. I want to learn to cook, make your favorite cake, prepare your clothes. As long as we're married, it's always the aunt who prepares the food, and you're the one who prepares your clothes."

Reo smiled happily. He grabbed Edewina's hands and put them together in his hands. "Darling, I don't want you to be tired. You'll have to go to college, plus work."

"If I was tired, I would say. We can ask the waiter at the main house to come once a week to clean the house."

Reo kissed the two hands of Edewina that were in his grasp. "alright. What matters is that you do not get soy sauce. Now we go back to the apartment first, huh? We'll see what stuff we can bring to move here. The rest of the stuff we just leave it to the apartment buyer."

"You want to sell it?"

"You want to keep him?" ask Reo back.

Edewina. "Not really. We have both good memories and bad memories there. We should sell that apartment. We will start a new life in this place. I love this place."

For one week, Reo worked on building experts to prepare the house and the interior design that worked on the inside of the house. Reo also asked them to install a fairly high perimeter fence on the back and side of the house but in front of it, the fence was not too high because Edewina did not want the view of the house was blocked from the outside.

Edewina herself divides her time between college, work and also comes to check every day what all the workers her husband has done with a hefty amount. Not to forget also Reo installed CCTV for the security of the house because the distance of their house with neighbors is quite far.

"Good day beautiful." Greet Justin as he enters the room where Edewina and her crew work.

"Good day, Justin." Sapa Edewina followed the gaze of some of her friends who smiled meaningfully as Justin called her with a beautiful greeting.

"How's your health ?" justin asked and pulled out a chair and sat down at Edewina's desk.

"I've improved. But like this, everywhere must bring food." Edewina said while pointing at the food box on her desk.

"Goodoo. You should take good care of your gut health. Oh yeah, I went to your apartment but said you've moved?"

Edewina nodded. "I'm back at peace with my husband" Edewina said rather slowly because he did not want his personal affairs to be known by others.

"Goodoo. That's better indeed. Although I'm actually a little heartbroken."

"Are that what?"

Justin laughing. "I was just kidding. Please continue the work. Don't forget next week we have a phase 1 evaluation meeting. I hope your work gets better so that the contract will continue to be extended."

"Ok ready....!"

After Justin left the Edewina workspace cs, Sandra approached him.

"Win, the boss seems interested in you, huh?"

"No way. He knows I'm married."

"Oh that's it? All I hear is that the boss is kind of a play boy. A lot of girls are heartbroken because of him."

"Oh yeah?"

"I thought that he would tempt you. That's why you better know about his past."

"I can't be interested in other men. I love my husband."

"Which one is your husband? How come I never saw him pick you up?"

"He's....."

"Hi everybody!" Reo appears in Edewina's office. All of his friends immediately looked at Edewina while smiling seductively.

"This is my husband" said Edewina, standing and holding her husband's hand.

"This Christensen Haireo Almond is your husband? Wow...wah.lucky for you, Vienna." said Tirsa while raising his two thumbs.

"This is my husband." Edewina blushed a bit but Reo immediately wrapped his hand on his wife's shoulder. "I'm picking up my wife for lunch."

"Gee.wah...wah...romantic really."

Edewina took her bag. Before he was teased by his friends, he immediately invited Reo away.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" edewina asked as the two stepped into the parking lot.

"intentionally. I just want to see if when my wife works, Justin's boss is with her or not?"

"What if she's with me?"

"I'll keep my wife from teasing him. I know who Justin is."

"A thousand Justin will never shake my heart that you already have, dear."

Reo stopped his steps. He looked at his wife. "It's not a seduction word, is it?"

"I'm not seducing, brother."

Reo looked into Edewina's eyes. He found the eyes he had been looking for. Eyes full of love. I can't wait for Reo to kiss his wife. Both of them don't care about time and place. They kiss so hot.

Not far away, there's a Hammer car that stops. Glass open. There was a man staring at them with a cynical smile.
