Chapter 64: Nurse Julie (2)

Needless to say, a bank robbery was the last thing he expected to happen. He followed what others were doing when the robbers started shooting, his mind blank as he crouched down.

He was quite relieved after the robbers were about to leave with their purpose coming. However, the police officer appeared. The robbers are then forced to pull someone to be held hostage.

Julie Estella's heart skipped a beat as the robbers walked towards her. They happened to pick a girl not far from where she was squatting, however, it was a very relieving guilt that she would not be further involved in the case. However, all of a sudden, a young man stood up innocently, offering to take the place of the girl. Julie Estella was really surprised by this.

It was already an instinct for everyone to fear being taken hostage, but the man remained standing there, putting up his wide back for the sake of others. Seeing this, Julie Estella could only be impressed by the bravery displayed.

However, his mind was cut short a moment after, when the robber fired his gun at the man. His heart almost exploded from panic and shock. The man twisted his body to the side when he suddenly flipped it over a split second later, receiving the bullet with his leg without whimpering.

The task impulse swept over her right then and there, she wanted to tell her that she could take care of her injuries, that she was a nurse. However, her body refused to move, she became extremely disappointed, and the man and woman soon disappeared through the door, being dragged as hostages before Julie Estella recovered from her shock.

Julie Estella overhears several nurses and doctors talking about a man named Ardian Prasetya the next morning, but she only thinks of it as mere gossip as she walks into her clinic. Only then did he find out what the gossip was about. It's surprising that what everyone's talking about is bank robbery.

Naturally, Julie Estella speaks as a victim of the entire incident, calling the young man who offers to take the girl's place as a hostage. It removed the trace of doubt that anyone had, and fully confirmed Ardian Prasetya's position as a Hero.

Despite what Doctor Ronald has shared, most still assume that Ardian Prasetya lied to everyone. After all, the police never revealed anything about the hostages and such. However, Julie Estella's confirmation as a witness is valuable enough to replace the Police's non-transparent statements.

"What's? He came here today for surgery? Wait a minute, does that mean he escaped those robbers!?" Julie Estella said excitedly in a wave of excitement after hearing Doctor Ronald's words, her depression over awkward guilt was completely erased. He couldn't sleep well last night, worrying about Ardian Prasetya and the girl.

"What's with that response? Do you know him?" Dr. Ronald laughed in response. "By the way, Ardian Prasetya was really something, every time I met him, I remembered that monstrous man, they had a similar aura. Nurse Julie, you're lucky enough, Ardian Prasetya told me that he could have dodged a bullet, but he turned to get hit by a bullet when he saw a girl right behind him. It was no wonder that Ardian Prasetya could not recognize the girl, to be honest, he had only caught a glimpse of her from the corner of his eye during the hostage situation, and he did not even know her name.

"Thank you for blocking the bullet for me yesterday!" Julie Estella was disappointed with the development, and decided to explain their relationship in one simple thank you sentence. "Oh, that's you!" Ardian Prasetya realized at that moment, This nurse is the girl he protected yesterday.

"You remember?" Julie Estella smiled, glad that Ardian Prasetya remembered her.

"It was a shot that from the beginning was aimed at me, no need to thank me at all!" Ardian Prasetya explained. "You don't have to feel guilty about anything either."

"Oh..." The atmosphere seemed to dim a little, and Julie Estella nodded, unsure what to say to Ardian Prasetya's words. "Then, can you help take care of My wounds? Ardian Prasetya said with a smile. "It's nice to meet you, Miss Nurse." He teases.

"I'm Julie Estella." Julie Estella introduced herself, feeling pleased with the compliment as she smiled back at Ardian Prasetya. He took over Dr. Ronald's records, and began preparing the cure.

He was preparing the ointment when he saw Ardian Prasetya still standing there. He smiled amusedly. "What are you standing there for? You need to take your pants off so I can take care of him!" Julie Estella's face, however, instantly flushed red as she thought about what she had just said was very ambiguous.

This was actually the first for him to care for a male patient, Doctor Ronald usually sent those men to a married nurse in the surgical department when facing an injury like this. Young nurses mostly deal with external bruises and minor injuries.

Things were a little different this time. Ardian Prasetya was the savior of Julie Estella, and for that reason Doctor Ronald assigned Ardian Prasetya to her, with her tacit consent.
