Guards For The Princess

Guards For The Princess
Chapter 61: Chandra (2)

"Boss, what did Brother Chandra say?" Mat Codet asked, panicking as well as when the Bald Robber put down the phone.

"Brother Chandra left us. It's all done!" The bald robber replied as he smashed his phone against the wall until it was destroyed. "What's? Brother Chandra left us!?" Mat Codet looked at him coldly. "What do you mean, Brother Chandra left us?"

"Yes, because we lost that Angkara Elvira girl! You idiot!" The Bald Robber let out a heavy sigh as he dropped his buttocks to the ground. Everything's fucked up now. "You-you!? Suffice it, it's your fault, you baldy bastard! He wouldn't have run away if you hadn't been taken hostage by that other kid!" Mat Codet cursed, pulled the collar of the Bald Robber and hit him.

"What the fuck? Damn traitor!" The Bald Marauder stared angrily as Mat Codet punched him. "Still acting like a tough guy until now, huh? Want to feel dead at the hands of your own men?" Mat Codet grinned coldly.

"Basic jerk, you think we'll be in this mess if you don't let that kid take your gun?! Don't pretend to be innocent!" With that, the Bald Marauder unleashed a punch in retaliation, and the two began to fight each other. Before long, two shots rang out, both the Bald Marauder and Mat Codet were killed in a pool of blood.

The gun fell to the ground from the shaking hands of a man named Jaya Nugraha, the second person to lead the group. "Brother Jaya, you've just..." The two remaining people stared at Jaya Nugraha, they were very surprised by what had just happened.

"Both are the same!" Jaya Nugraha shouted, she explained, "Look at the chaos we are in right now and they instead of thinking about the solution, fight among themselves. So what if Brother Chandra leaves us, we have hands and feet, right? More importantly, we have money! If we get through all this alive we'll live a very comfortable life!"

The two minions thought about it and thought that what Jaya Nugraha did was right. The Battle of the Bald Robbers and Mat Codet was the last thing that should have happened this time. There was no time to fight amongst themselves, it might even bring the police directly to them if they were not careful. Working together as brothers is, without a doubt, the only way out.

Thinking about it, they nodded. The Bald Thieves are dead, and that makes Jaya Nugraha the new boss, the boss where they put new hope. "This money is enough to set a new life for the three of us!" jaya Nugraha said as she opened her bag, revealing the pile of money inside. "We'll get almost a hundred thousand dollars each if we split this!" Hearing the amount of money, the two minions sang in unison, pledging their loyalty.

Jaya Nugraha nodded, very pleased with the chant, she grinned as she glanced indifferently at the corpses of the Bald Marauder and Mat Codet lying beside her.

Ardian Prasetya, on the other hand, had long since woken up. He had even prepared three bowls of noodles, and had put them in a pot of hot water when he heard the activities of the two girls upstairs. He made the same noodles as yesterday. There's still some chicken left over from yesterday. So, Ardian Prasetya would add it, he saw no reason to waste food.

The noodles were just finished when the girls came down. "Well, it smells so good!" Tinia Atmaja's nose elongated as she smelled the aroma of Ardian Prasetya's noodles. He walked into the kitchen excitedly, looking back to call Angkara Elvira as well. "Elviea, Ardian Prasetya made us some more noodles this morning!"

Angkara Elvira plans to leave with Tinia Atmaja, but her words stop her. It was Ardian Prasetya's cooking, should he eat it as well? The food was a noodle and was cooked by someone he hated. If following a bit of his pride Angkara Elvira had to immediately turn the other way, as if she had not smelled anything before, but her noodles were too piquing

A sipping sound could be heard immediately as Tinia Atmaja walked into the dining room. Angkara Elvira's nose became itchy from displeasure, the girl had never been that hard at a meal before. It was obvious that Tinia Atmaja was currently teasing her!

"Great, noodles this time better than before!" Tinia Atmaja commented while her mouth was still full of noodles. Angkara Elvira could not help but gulp when she entered the dining room, she wondered, was Tinia Atmaja honest that the noodles this time were tastier than before or was it just because she wanted to tease him alone. Ardian Prasetya, on the other hand, smiled, he greatly enjoyed every doubt Angkara Elvira, the girl's behavior was quite interesting even though it was quite annoying.

"Young Miss, please sit down, your breakfast is ready!" Ardian Prasetya smiled, hoping to encourage her to fight against self-esteem. "Yes, thanks..." Angkara Elvira's soft voice shocked Tinia Atmaja and Ardian Prasetya, they wondered, is this still the same Angkara Elvira they knew?

Angkara Elvira sat down and picked up the chopsticks. She felt like crying a little as she stared at the delicious-looking noodles that had just been prepared for her. Has he been wrong all this time to treat Ardian Prasetya like trash? To be honest, he's a pretty good guy, strong, and does his job with all his heart. He really is the best Human Shield. After all, this man was the choice of his father, President Angkara. Where could he have chosen just anyone for the daughter he loved the most.

The clock shows at seven, and Uncle Ken arrives on time, his car parked right outside the villa. Angkara Elvira, Tinia Atmaja, and Ardian Prasetya walked to the car with Angkara Elvira who was surprisingly silent, not complaining about Ardian Prasetya at all like the day before. He seemed to have accepted Ardian Prasetya, no more hostility.

"Sir Ardian, Your Doctor said that you should make regular visits to the hospital today," said Uncle Ken. "I'll take Young Miss to school before taking you to the hospital, I'll take you to school later."

"All right then." Ardian Prasetya agreed after some thought. The wound on his leg was actually not that alarming, but he still obeyed him, he did not want people to see him as some kind of monster. He hasn't entered that stage, and probably, never will. He had never seen a gap at all from the boundary wall of a human.
