Chapter 9: Hansen's Defense

Boss Cahyadi has long liked Zaskia. She originally intended to have a relationship with Zaskia after she got drunk. But because of the sudden entry of a security guard who tried to interfere, he became even more upset. 

"Unbelievably, even the owner of this jewel hotel alone bowed his head towards me. Who are you to dare to correct me?" said Boss Cahyadi without taking his eyes off Hansen.

"Remember the young man, I just want to have a drink with Miss Zaskia and you won't be able to replace her. If you insist on it then.” 

Boss Cahyadi glanced sharply at Zaskia with the intention of threatening her.

Zaskia simply fell silent and lowered her head in fear of mistalking. Hansen stood up straight with a smile on his face. 

"It's not good to threaten a girl who doesn't want to drink. He might be able to accompany the master if he just accompanied by sitting. But to drink that wine, please allow me to take its place. I guarantee you nothing to lose" Hansen said confidently. 

"No matter what you say, my decision will not change. If Miss Zaskia won't drink with me. Then don't blame me if this jewel hotel won't have any more investors!" boss Cahyadi. He kept putting on his sly smile knowing full well that he was in the upper hand at that moment. 

In a debate that did not find an end point, Hansen's enemy David who was standing in the back crowd moved. He slipped and approached Boss Cahyadi's ears. 

David intends to take revenge on Hansen by exploiting Boss Cahyadi's anger. With a sly smile on his face, he told Boss Cahyadi that Hansen had an intimate relationship with Zaskia. 

Of course it managed to make Boss Cahyadi furious so much that he intended to torture Hansen all out and finish him.

In order to dispel Hansen's consciousness first before torturing him, Boss Cahyadi immediately agreed to Hansen's request for a drink. While deep down, he was still pretending to withdraw his intention to have Zaskia drink wine. 

In a serious tone Boss Cahyadi said, “Alright, I will allow you to drink in place of Zaskia. But you can't stop drinking wine until I tell you to stop. I'll ask you to drink all the wine available at this hotel!”

“Alright,” replied Hansen without hesitation. 

In order for Zaskia to leave first, Hansen agrees to have some wine with Boss Cahyadi. Zaskia knew that Hansen's actions were to protect her. He also knew that he would not be able to leave, so he could only stand on the other side thinking he might be able to beg for mercy for Hansen later on. 

Boss Cahyadi gave Hansen 3 glasses of high alcoholic beverages. Hansen asked if he drank all of them, if they would release Zaskia. 

Boss Cahyadi did not answer. 

David who has a grudge with Hansen, of course took advantage of the opportunity to raise the problem. 

“Look at that, even a security guard dared to make conditions to Boss Cahyadi. I can't believe that all the workers here really don't respect a big boss, huh? What kind of service is this!?”

Cahyadi's boss was ignited by David's words. His emotions are increasing. He pulled Zaskia's wrist again and asked Zaskia to accompany him for a drink. 

“Cih, forget it! You'd better accompany me to drink!”

Zaskia hurried to beg for mercy. Once again, Hansen pulled his wrist to prevent it from being pulled by Boss Cahyadi. He also stared intently at the eyes of the light Boss until he was able to make him tremble. 

Although he looked calm, his gaze was so pierced into the heart, that Boss Cahyadi's instincts said that Hansen was a dangerous man.

While releasing his handrails, Boss Cahyadi returned Hansen's gaze, then said, ”Eight!”

“If you can hold the eight glasses of wine that I serve, then I will not ask Zaskia to accompany me for a drink today!” keep up Boss Cahyadi.

The people who were there were immediately shocked because Hansen did not immediately faint even after drinking more than one glass of wine. Even the shock of everyone did not just get there. All because Hansen was really able to drink it all. Although Hansen seemed to stagger slightly, he still managed to get through the challenge. 

Meanwhile, Zaskia can only remain silent while being haunted by guilt for her helplessness.

Because Boss Cahyadi couldn't pull his words. He also let Zaskia push Hansen out of the room. 

When Hansen was already feeling a little relieved because the problem was sorted out with just that, it was unexpected that David even opened his voice to stop him from leaving with Zaskia. 

“Wait first! Where do you think you're going!?”

Boss Cahyadi who was surprised by David's actions immediately looked at him and said, “Why did you stop them?”

“Ah sorry boss, not that I was sassy for having corrected yourself repeatedly.  It's just, I'm kind of afraid that the security guard will do anything to Miss Zaskia. Aren't you afraid to see your girl go out with a man who's drunk?”

Affected by David's remarks, Boss Cahyadi immediately changed his decision. He gave his people a cue with a hand gesture to block Hansen and Zaskia out of the room. 

At that time Hansen seemed unable to walk alone to let Zaskia memapah herself headed out of the room. His face was red and the road was a little staggering. But their steps came to a halt after the bodyguards of Boss Cahyadi blocked the exit. Along with that came the voice of Boss Cahyadi who was right behind them. 

“Does anyone allow you to leave here?”

The voice was full of threat and dominance, Zaskia who was usually tough immediately fell silent and did not dare to raise her gaze or look back. With a trembling body, he said, “A-What do you mean, sir?”

“Didn't you say that everything would be fine as long as he drank his wine?” ask Zaskia to make sure. 

“Didn't I just promise not to let you drink, miss Zaskia?” asked Boss Cahyadi while stepping closer. 

After hearing the threat of Boss Cahyadi, of course Zaskia's mentality immediately fell. With his gaze still down, he gritted his teeth while clenching his hands together. Deep down, Zaskia could only hope for a miracle that would get her out of the situation. 

Boss Cahyadi stepped slowly closer to Hansen and Zaskia, an evil smile continued to be painted on his face. 

"I know that you don't mean to hinder us or break a promise, there must be a misunderstanding here. Isn't that right, sir?" hansen muttered in a slow tone. 

"How dare a doorman like you try to correct myself! There's no misunderstanding here or room for negotiation. Until I'm satisfied to see you drinking all the wine here, don't expect to get out of here. And just like the previous agreement, Miss Zaskia will continue to accompany me to sit and wait for you to finish drinking," Boss Cahyadi said as he stepped closer with his sly smile.  

Boss Cahyadi approached fearlessly thinking that Hansen was drunk and could no longer be a threat. But he had miscalculated. 

Just as Boss Cahyadi was within his reach, without a warning, Hansen immediately turned his back. Then landed a fist so hard right on Boss Cahyadi's nose. 

Kretakkk Bukkkk! 

Boss Cahyadi's nose bone was immediately broken due to Hansen's hard blow. And his body bounced backwards until it fell to the floor. 

"Eh?" Zaskia was stiff and did not know what to respond at that moment. He was really surprised to think that Hansen was so drunk that he could not walk on his own. 

"Did my punch earlier, feel good!?" hansen said with emotion.
