Chapter 4: Stuck in the same hole

Hansen still doesn't understand the reason why Andini let David stick to him.

Although somewhat upset, Hansen still needed the money. He then walked up to Andini and David and said, "Can I join?"

"Ah of course, please sit my cousin," Andini said with a smile.

Hansen did not understand why Andini called him cousin. But he complies with what his wife wants.

"Thank you cousin" Hansen said with a smile. 

"Isn't he your husband? Why is he your cousin now?" david asked in wonder.

"He's my cousin, really! My husband knows about business. I called him here on purpose because he's very good at business. Oh yeah, his face does look similar to my husband's, but believe me he's not my husband. Right ‘kan?" Andini glanced at Hansen meaningfully.

"Yes, I'm his cousin. Her husband is looking for a job right now, so there's no way she's here" Hansen replied seriously.

"But how can your cousin look like your husband?" david narrowed his eyes, suspicious.

"Hey, they're kind of similar. But not one hundred percent similar. You seem too drunk to be able to tell their faces apart" Andini continued, trying to dodge.

"What yes? But I'm drinking coffee, how can I get drunk?" david said with a breath.

"Oh, forget about it. Can we continue with the business?" Andini tries to deflect the direction of the conversation.

Andini tried to get David to finish their business right then and there. Meanwhile, David continued to refuse to discuss it outside the room. And kept trying to persuade Andini to discuss the business in the hotel room.  He continued to reason that he was not free when speaking in an open space. And he doesn't want to tell his secret business to strangers.

"Come on, can't we just talk about it here? He's not someone else, really. He's my cousin!" Andini tried to convince.

"I don't care if he's your cousin or your husband. If you still want to discuss our business, then don't involve anyone else. I just want you, Miss Andini," replied David, rising from his chair.

"But, I…" 

Not yet had Andini finish his sentence, David immediately cut his words by saying, "I'll wait for you at the Permata hotel. Don't forget to let me know via sms if you arrive later.” 

“Oh yes,” David while bringing his mouth closer to Andini's ear, whispering. He spoke softly to the point that Hansen couldn't hear him, “My eyes are everywhere. Never try to bring someone with you. If you dare to mess around, then our business will be off by then," 

David stood up and walked away.

"Cih, okay," said Andini annoyed.

Seeing Andini agree to David's request and immediately stand up to him, Hansen was even more confused and muttered in the heart. 

("What exactly is Andini thinking? Why would she keep following him even if she knew that he had bad intentions towards her?")

Initially Hansen wanted to go follow him blatantly, but Andini stopped him, "Stop right there!"

Andini blinked her eyes unnoticed by David.

Hansen could only sigh and say, "Alright, cousin,"

When Andini and David had gone a short distance, a message appeared on Hansen's phone. 

'What are you doing lousy guy?'

'Quickly follow me quietly like last night!'

'Don't shut up!'

Along with the short message, a bank transfer notification appeared on his phone.125 million just entered into Hansen's account.

After the notification appeared, Andini again sent a message. 

'I'll give you another 125 million if I follow my request. Quickly follow me!'

'But remember, do it secretly! '

Hansen didn't understand what Andini's purpose was to do. But because he has received Andini's money and needs more money. He did what you asked.

Arriving near the black car parked in the cafe yard, David stopped his steps and looked back to make sure something.

"Why did you stop?" ask Andini.

"Don't worry, my cousin won't follow us. Our business ‘kan is very important. I don't want to lose it. So, don't worry about anything that doesn't matter, okay?" Andini pushed David's shoulder back to continue his steps.

It was clear from a distance that David asked Andini to get into his car. He opened the door and let you in like a princess. Andini got into the car.

Hansen who saw the scene put on an annoyed face and clenched his hands together. When David took Andini away in his car, Hansen received a mobile phone notification stating that he had received two million rupiah in his bank account. 

Along with the notification message, a message from Andini again he received. 

'This is a bonus because I want to return to your seat before, the rest I will pay after you successfully follow me into the hotel. Remember lest you lose track of me, otherwise the deal will be void!'

After reading a text from Andini, Hansen immediately moved quickly to find a motorcycle taxi and asked him to go take a shortcut to the jewel hotel.

Stopping not far from the Permata hotel, Hansen peeked out from one side of the building. He is surprised by Andini who enters the hotel door without a fight. While outside the door is guarded by four men with a stocky body in all black clothes complete with sunglasses.

“Ah, this is no different from last night,” muttered Hansen.
