Chapter 41. Invitation Letter to Sonia.

Sonia was still stunned by the figure of the man before her. He looked at Alan. Until Early felt strange seeing Sonia's attitude. Dini also called Sonia who made Sonia aware of her daydream.

"Oh, Yes. Who does not know Alan? A young CEO whose company is huge. In the business world, Mr. Alan must be very famous", replied Sonia who pretended. "Did you forget about me? We've met before", asked Sonia who was still curious.

"Oh, sorry. It seems I don't remember you", Alan replied as he frowned wanting to remember something.

"Dearly enough. Though we are close associates", Sonia replied with a smile.

"If you were ever familiar before, how about Sonia we invite to our wedding?", said Dini with all her innocence.

"Yes, it's up to you dear" said Alan smiling as he stroked his head Early. "What do you have with you?", Alan continued.

Early nod his head. Then he reached into his bag to pick up an invitation letter that he would give to Sonia. With a forced smile, Sonia received an Early gift.

Now, in a taxi Sonia holds the invitation letter. He saw the name of the bride written there. Actually, Sonia wasn't jealous. Rather it was just astonished, confused, strange to be one in his mind. He was eager to ask Alan the true circumstances. But, he was very reluctant to ask her directly to Dini. Sonia was afraid that Dini would think badly of her.

Not long after, Sonia reached a restaurant where she came to a table where someone was waiting for her. He smiled and sat down in front of the man.

"I'm late, huh Mas?", asked Sonia with a bad feeling.

"It's okay. You don't have to worry about that" Salim answered, Sonia's fiancee.

They both called the waiter and ordered food. Later, Sonia gave the invitation letter to Salim. Salim accepted it and read the name there. He also scrunched his forehead.

"It's Alan" Salim said, looking at Sonia's face.

Sonia nodded her head. He knew for sure Salim would also feel astonished and confused.

"But, you said he was dead from falling into the abyss" asked Salim who was confused.

"Yes Mas, similarly I was also shocked at first when I met him. And strangely enough, Alan didn't recognize me at all. If I don't get it wrong, maybe Alan's amnesia" Sonia explained.

"It could be anyway. But, how did you get their wedding invitation letter?", asked Salim again.

Sonia also explained to Salim how she met Dini until Dini finally introduced Alan as her husband. Who then gave a letter of invitation.

"So you want us to go there?" asked Salim.

"I'm up to Mas aja" replied Sonia handing it to Salim.

Sonia nodded her head. He was very happy because Salim wanted to attend the invitation. He was very proud of the great soul Salim. Salim trusted himself so much. Yes, because Salim could be jealous or angry if Sonia tells him about Alan. But Salim always listened to him. Whether Salim was jealous and kept it, Sonia did not know either. But, in Sonia's eyes, Salim was a male figure who could be her role model.

I've removed Alan's name from my heart. When I found out Alan was no longer in this world, my heart was broken. However, Salim came into my life and gave his heart to me. He was so gentle and so appreciative of me, trusted me and certainly loved me. I don't know why that comfort brought love to her. I've forgotten my past with you, Alan. Sonia said inwardly as she continued to look at Salim with a faint smile.

"Why are you?", asked Salim who was surprised to see Sonia's behavior.

"I love you, Mas", replied Sonia with a sincerity smile from her face.

Salim also smiled at the confession of his future wife, "Mas, also love you dear".

I don't know why there's such a bad feeling in this heart. I was afraid that Alan would remember me as his lover. What would happen if Alan couldn't accept all this? sonia said in her heart again.

When he came home from the office, Alan immediately rushed to clean himself up. Then, have dinner with Dini. While his parents are gone. Early noticed the lethargic looking Alan. Unlike usual who is very lustful to eat if you see Early cooking.

"You why Mas? My cooking is not good?", asked Dini sadly.

"Oh, I remember. I have a doctor friend. I'll try to get him here" Alan said.

"You remember your friend?", asked Dini in surprise to hear Alan remember his friend.

"Yes, he was here yesterday when he found out I was back. And Mama said we were really close friends" Alan explained.

Dini nodded her head in understanding with Alan's explanation. Then Alan looked up Bagas's doctor's phone number and contacted him.
