Chapters 10. “Click”

This morning, Dini was collecting vegetable waste that he would bring to the fertilizer manufacturing site. The fertilizer will be used to cultivate vegetables in the abah garden.

At that time, Tejo saw Dini who was busy putting the garbage into the sack. Slowly he approached Early. Tejo had been standing beside Dini who was crouching but, he did not say anything.

Dini knew that Tejo was next to her. He only glanced at Tejo at a glance while doing his job. I wasn't sure I wanted to say hello to Tejo first. Remembering what happened last night.

"I'm sorry Din" Tejo said. "I realize I shouldn't have interfered with your affairs with Revelation. I have considered you as a friend. You were the first person to help me when I lost my memory. You want to apologize to me?"

I don't feel tears. But, it was unknown to Tejo. Dini did not understand what had happened to her heart. However, upon hearing Tejo's words his heart ached so much. It was as if Tejo would stop fighting for it. Could it be that Tejo doesn't want him anymore or does Tejo not want to get involved any further? That's how it came to mind Early.

When Dini found out that Tejo wanted to squat too, she quickly wiped her tears. But, it seemed that Tejo knew that Dini was crying.

"What's up Din? Why are you crying?", asked Tejo who was astonished while looking at Dini's face.

Dini immediately turned her face the other way. He didn't want Tejo to see his tear-filled face. He was still trying to wipe his tears.

"I'm okay Jo. I'm just overwhelmed. You apologized to me. I think you're still mad at me" Dini told a lie.

There was a strange taste in Tejo's heart. He felt that Dini was lying. But, Tejo did not want this problem to drag on. He was trying to understand Early circumstances only.

Dini stood up wanting to lift the sack, but she felt a little distress. Because the sack feels heavy.

"Help dong! Not very sensitive to be a man. You can see I brought this sack alone?", said Dini annoyed at Tejo who was still squatting to see it.

Tejo smiled, he did not expect Dini to say that. But, that was the Dini Tejo knew. Tejo is relieved Dini can return as Tejo knew before.

However, behind it actually Dini just wanted to divert the conversation. So that there is no awkwardness between them.

"Where are you going?", asked Tejo curiously.

"To the place of manufacture of fertilizer. Later you also know", replied Dini while walking away from Tejo.

Tejo lifted the sack, but then he realized that the sack was very smelly. Tejo could not bear to smell that foul scent.

"Din, it stinks!", cried Tejo.

"The name is also Jo's trash", replied Dini casually.

"What?", Tejo is surprised that he just realized it.

"Why is the place far from the residents of Din settlement?" tanya Tejo was confused.

They have reached the place of making compost which is located far from the residential area. Here Dini reveals the reason is because it does not want to disturb residents with the foul smell of garbage that is there. Because indeed, the place is also a shelter for vegetable waste from residents and also garbage from their gardens.

Since Tejo had already arrived at this place, he felt curious about the manufacturing process. Dini also happily taught Tejo to make compost from rotted vegetable waste.

But, over time Tejo can not stand the smell makes him continue to vomit. Instead of pity, Dini laughed out loud mocking Tejo. Then, Tejo deliberately threw some of the vegetable waste to Dini, furious at seeing Dini happy above her suffering.

As a result Dini was angry at Tejo, "Jo, so evil! My clothes are dirty!"

"Reason!", replied Tejo who was still furious.

Then suddenly Tejo felt afraid to see the face of Dini who turned angry. Tejo took a few steps back and ran straight away.

"Tejo..!", Shouted Early annoyed.

"Din, my God Din. I didn't mean it, don't get angry" Tejo said, pleading with his palms and closing his eyes in fear, in case Dini hit him.

"Jo, Jo look" said Dini.

Tejo opened his eyes and looked into the eyes of Dini. Then Tejo was surprised to see the scenery in front of him. He realized that they had arrived in front of the forest.

He also ran into the forest. Tejo becomes confused whether he should accompany Dini or leave early alone. Because there was fear when Tejo saw the forest.

"Jo, come! There's something I want to tell you!" screamed from the forest.

With doubt Tejo stepped into the forest. He walked while looking around him full of towering trees.

"Din, where are you?", cried Tejo who had not yet found Dini.

Tejo was surprised that someone was holding his shoulder from behind. But, Tejo was immediately relieved because that person was Dini.

Dini held Tejo's hand and pulled him, "Come Jo, come here". Dini ran while pulling Tejo's hand.

Tejo can only obey Dini. He ran wherever he took him. He didn't say anything. Tejo felt his heart pounding at the sight of Dini from behind who occasionally looked at himself while smiling beautifully.

The wind that carried the fragrance of Early's body entered Tejo's nose and made Tejo even more captivated. It was as if his memories would never forget this scent.

Not long after, Dini stopped his steps. Tejo who had been stunned to see Dini heard the sound of water gurgling. When Tejo looked at the other side, it turned out that in front of them was a river.

"You remember?", asked Dini to Tejo who looked confused.

"You mean?", Tejo really did not understand.

"You forgot the hell? This place, is a silent witness to our first meeting at that time", replied Dini with a face of sumringah.

Dini found it funny to see Tejo who was completely confused. Dini walked towards the big rock that was on the river bank. He went up to the rock and sat there.

"At that time, I was sitting here. I was lamenting the fate of my being wedded by Revelation. You, really do not remember this place, Jo?", said Dini who looked straight at the river.

Dini did not hear any answer from Tejo. "I thought earlier, maybe if I bring you here you can remember something. Why can you drift in this river?", continued Dini.

Tejo was really surprised to hear the truth Dini. It turned out that this was the place where Dini helped her. I don't know why he didn't recognize this place.

"Yes Jo, as I was weeping over my fate here, I suddenly saw the body of a person stuck under the root of that tree. And that person is you Jo" Dini said as she pointed at a tree to her right.

Tejo looked at the direction of Dini's hand, then he walked up to the tree. Tejo looked at the big tree and looked down at the tree. His eyes were looking for something that might be left behind and could be a clue to who he really was. But, it seemed like what Tejo expected was not in that place. Tejo also had no recollection of being stranded under the roots of the tree.

"At that time, I was so scared. I screamed for help, but no one could hear me from here. And I also did not get to the heart if I let you just like that", Dini still continues the story.

Tejo turned around and returned to where he was standing. He still looks around at the situation. I hope to get his memory back.

"I'm determined to help you even if I'm alone. I went into the river and pulled your body and brought it to the ground. At first I thought you were no longer helped. But, I checked you back and I heard your heartbeat. I am grateful that you were alive at that time even though your face was very pale like a corpse. But I'm confused as to how. Hearing the story that was still cut, Tejo walked towards the large stone that was sat Early. Actually, Tejo knew what to say. But, he wanted to hear it directly from Dini to confirm it. He was close to the big rock. He walked while looking at Dini who was sitting on the rock. And then he came in front of Dini.

Early look at Tejo who is under him, "Yes, Jo. I gave you artificial breath. Because I don't want you to lose your life. And just so you know, it was my first kiss with a man".

Tejo continued to look at Dini's flushed face. There Tejo was very happy to hear the Early confession that they had put their lips together. It was as if there was a "Click" sound from Tejo's heart which meant that Tejo was really in love with Dini and set Dini was his soulmate. But, dear to Tejo, he could not feel the kiss Early at the time.
