Chapter 23. Don't Separate Us, Dad

Bella and Wahyu are shocked to see the arrival of Bella's parents in their home. And the look of their pouting faces signified feelings of anger and disappointment. As soon as he got off the motorbike, Bella immediately shook hands with her parents and did not forget also he hugged and said a word of longing to them. Unlike the Revelation, his heart was so afraid. He thinks Bella's parents must have known everything from the citizens.

"Bella, let's go home, son" said Bella's father.

Deg. Both Bella and Revelation were shocked to hear that sentence. Especially Revelation, his heart is so sore. Could it be a sign that he will part ways with Bella. Bella doesn't really want that either. But, his father pulled his hand just like that to get into the car without caring for Revelation.

Bella looked at the Revelation that just stood still not in her way at all. So, Bella thinks that Revelation does want Bella out of her life. Revelation still stands in its place until the car passes away leaving it.

On the way home, Bella did not say a word. Including both of Bella's parents. The situation in the car was very quiet. Bella's mind is still in Revelation. In his heart there was pity for the Revelation. But what he loves most is that Revelation does not stop him at all.

Not long after, they arrived. And Bella's father went straight away to work. She orders Bella to stay home and not let Bella go out and meet anyone. Bella's heart was so sad. Bella went straight into the house and continued to go inside her room. The feeling that has been in his seat since now he took it all out. His heart was so wounded in light of the destruction of his household.

July, Bella's mother meets her son in the room. He rubbed Bella's head when he saw Bella crying. Bella hugged her mother. He spilled all the sadness that had been dull. He cried until he sobbed. And July just kept quiet as she hugged and stroked her son's head.

"Ma, I'm sorry to put Mama and Dad to shame" Bella said, sobbing.

"That's it, it's okay. You don't have to blame yourself", replied July while wiping away the tears that flowed down Bella's cheeks.

However, suddenly there was the sound of knocking on the door from outside. July rushed over to see who was coming to her house. And after peeking out of the window, July sees Revelation at her doorstep. Now, July is confused as to what to do. Her husband has forbidden Bella from seeing anyone.

Revelation keeps knocking on the door while greeting and calling out the names of Bella and her mother. Bella heard that familiar voice. He also went out of the room. However, Mom blocks Bella by mentioning a message from her father earlier.

"But that's Wahyu mas, Ma" said Bella Iirih.

He was eager to meet the Revelation. He would be very happy if Revelation would take him home. That means the Revelation has changed and still wants itself. But, July insists that Bella should not see anyone without exception until father returns home.

With a shunt move, Bella returned to her room. His eyes were on his bag. Then he opened his bag and took his cell phone. He typed in a short message for Revelation while fearing that his mother knew.

Mas, I can't leave the house and I'm not allowed to meet anyone including you. If you want to see me, wait till Dad gets home.

The message is read by Revelation. So hurt he accepted the fact that he could not meet his own wife. When his heart began to feel comfortable with Bella even the problem came and immediately made him overwhelmed with great concern.

Actually Revelation could have come to the office to see his father-in-law. But, it might not be polite to talk about this in the office. Because this is a household issue. Finally, Revelation decides to wait for Bella's father to come home.

And when evening came, Revelation immediately welcomed the return of her father-in-law. He reached out his hand to shake hands and Surya, Bella's father also extended his hand back as well.

"Dad, let me take Bella home" replied the Revelation cf.

"Yesterday, I let you take my daughter with you hoping she gets more happiness than you. But, you wasted it instead" replied Surya who was holding back his anger.

"Sorry dad. I can accept any punishment from Father but, please do not separate us", replied the Revelation with teary eyes.

They do not know, if Bella is peeping at once listening to the conversation of her husband and father. Bella wept when she heard such a sincere plea from the Revelation. Because this is the first time that Revelation has fought for it.

"Are you sure of what you said? Are you chasing another woman? Know that I won't marry you! I always try to make my son happy. You just make him suffer all the time. I don't want to believe you! Bella will not come home with you she will stay here!", explained Surya firmly and directly into the house.

"But, Dad.", said the Revelation who wants to come with Surya.

"Stop! Get out of here!", asserted Surya in Revelation.

Then Surya pulled Bella's hand as soon as she saw Bella behind the door. Bella begged her father to let her see her husband for a while. However, Surya did not allow it.

"Dad, I beg you. Just a minute, Dad. I beg you", ask Bella while crying.

Surya kept staring at Bella. Actually he could not bear to see his son who was begging until crying like that. Usually he always obeyed the will of his only daughter. But, this time he was very afraid when he obeyed Bella's wishes, then Bella would be hurt again.

And with all his fear, the affection and pity for his son was greater. He let go of his hand and Bella immediately ran to meet the Revelation.

"Mas", call Bella.

The revelation that had stepped in to go home immediately looked back. Revelation immediately smiled to see Bella who came to see him. Not thinking any longer, Revelation immediately hugged Bella very tightly. Like they haven't seen each other in a long time. That surprised Bella. Again Bella felt things that she had not felt before when she was with Revelation.

Once satisfied, Revelation releases its embrace slowly. He then cupped his wife's face, "Let's go home".

Bella holds the finger of Revelation attached to her face. He felt a warmth on his cheek, "Sorry Mas, I can't".
