Chapters 1. Getting rid of Alan

Alan Mahendra is the CEO of the number one furniture company in Southeast Asia. He has a girlfriend named Sonia. But unfortunately Sonia does not get the blessing of both parents Alan. Because Sonia does not want to rush to have children after marrying Alan later. Because he is still comfortable in the world of work. Both of Alan's parents wanted a grandchild.

Although Alan has given an explanation that it has become their agreement, Alan's parents still disagree with the decision of the two young couples. Alan became confused with let alone he made both parents agree.

Tok, tok, tok, Gilang knock on Alan's open door. It has been 5 years Gilang worked in the Alan family company. Gilang is famous for its loyalty. Alan was very happy with everything Gilang did. Crossed placed in the financial section.

"Come in Gilang" said Alan.

Crossed into the room with the files requested by Alan earlier. Gilang sat in front of Alan and gave the files to Alan.

"Sir Alan why? You see the face of the Father looks grim", asked Gilang curious.

"There's nothing Lang. It's just a family matter" Alan replied as he looked at the files and signed them. "Oh, yes Gilang. You prepare yourself yes. As promised, you'll be GM in finance".

Gilang was surprised. He did not expect Alan to be serious about his words. What a joy beyond measure. His hard work has finally won him appreciation. Gilang was very grateful to Alan who always believed in him.

"You deserve it make sure you don't disappoint me!", continued Alan.

Three days later, Gilang became GM (General Manager) of finance at Alan company. All employees understand him because Gilang is worthy in the position.

But not with Bobby who is none other than Alan's older cousin. Hearing Gilang rise to office, Bobby strongly disapproves. Bobby goes to Alan's room and gets angry at him. According to Bobby, Alan had to discuss with him first as a director at the company. Alan doesn't seem to think of it as part of the company. Decide on that one-sidedly. Bobby vilifies Alan's attitude as a CEO at the company.

Alan tried to explain to Bobby that Gilang deserved it. He is no ordinary employee. Gilang has proven himself capable of being the best employee in the company. Bobby even said that it was not Gilang's problem that he asked. But, the attitude of Alan who likes to make his own decisions without discussing first with other company officials that Bobby does not like.

Actually, Bobby was jealous of Alan. The company is a family company. Bobby has long dreamed of becoming CEO. But, that hope was dashed since Alan came home from abroad who had finished his lecture. Alan was immediately appointed CEO of the company. That's not fair to Bobby. Bobby thinks he's older and more experienced than Alan. He should have been the one who deserved the position.

Alan did not want to fuss with Bobby especially he was already considered Alan like his own biological brother. Alan apologized to Bobby for all his mistakes. Next time Alan will discuss with him first if he wants to make a decision.

Bobby always felt very careless with the attitude of Alan who always acted as he pleased. Bobby felt he had always not been considered a director at the company. As if Alan apologized, Bobby's heart was filled with resentment and jealousy towards Alan. Sorry from Alan won't penetrate in his heart. He still doesn't like Alan.

Over time Bobby could not take it anymore. He was frustrated to see Alan with all his enjoyment of being CEO. He's gonna plan something to get rid of Alan forever. Yeah, for Bobby there's no time to wait any longer. Bobby is very hungry for wealth and success. The sooner he gets rid of Alan the sooner he gets what he wants.

And that time came. Bobby makes a fake partnership that Alan has to follow. Bobby said the cooperation would be very profitable for the company.

"Alan, I've learned this cooperation. You don't have to read it anymore. It's gonna be a waste of time. And we don't have much time left. Don't you trust me as a director here?", Bobby tried to intimidate Alan.

"Not so Brother. I believe in Bobby. Brother Bobby must also want this company to continue forward", replied Alan agreed despite a little doubt in his heart.

Yeah, Alan just believes Bobby's words. Because Alan never thought badly of Bobby.

When Alan occasionally saw the streets, he was a little strange because the road chosen Bobby not the usual path to pass to the city of X. However, Alan remains unsuspecting, thinking Bobby cut the road.

But, over time Alan begins to suspect Bobby. Alan's feeling, it's been two hours on their way. They should have reached their destination. Then Alan saw the maps on his gawai. And sure enough, they're getting away from town X.

"Sister, what-what's this? Where are we really going?" alan asked confused.

"I want to take you away from your life. If you need to disappear for good" Bobby replied with an evil smile.

"What do you mean, brother? You want to get rid of me" asked Alan who started to get emotional.

Bobby laughed out loud. He had not expected it to be up to this point to get rid of Alan. From there Bobby expresses his hatred for Alan. And want Alan's current position. The debate happened. Alan has the idea to record all their conversations on his screen as evidence of Bobby's crimes.

"I command, turn around right now!", Alan told Bobby.

"Who dare to rule me!"

"I'm your boss! You better obey my orders or I don't hesitate to fire you!", Alan is at the peak of his patience.

"Right? I never thought of you as a boss. You're just a lucky little boy. I'm the one who deserves to be CEO of that company and soon I'll get it!"

"No! I won't let that happen!".

Suddenly Bobby stopped his car on a bridge below which was a deep ravine and river. Bobby forced Alan out of his car. And there was a fight.

Alan does not accept being treated very lowly on Bobby. Alan also replied to Bobby by punching Bobby in the face. That made Bobby even more angry. Bobby managed to grab Alan's neck and he pushed Alan to the boundary fence of the bridge.

Half of Alan's body has passed the fence, but Alan is still trying to fight Bobby. Alan managed to kick Bobby. Alan can be detached from Bobby. Alan was getting carried away with emotions. He no longer thinks about who Bobby is in his family. He wanted Bobby to know if he could play with him, too.

Alan wants to kick Bobby but, it turns out Bobby can dodge and Alan's body becomes unbalanced so hit the bridge fence. Bobby saw that, and felt this was his chance. Bobby ran towards Alan and pushed him.

Bobby was determined to get rid of Alan. And in the end Alan lost and fell into the deep river. Bobby doesn't know if Alan could record their conversation. But, unfortunately Alan's phone had fallen into that abyss as well during their fight earlier.

Bobby looks down the bridge to make sure Alan is completely wiped out of his life. Bobby was so happy his plan had worked to get rid of Alan. A little more of his wish will soon be realized.

Then Alan's car was taken by Bobby somewhere else. He checked the car to make sure no evidence would be on him. He slightly manipulated Alan's brakes and after that he pushed into a ravine elsewhere away from where Alan had fallen. It was as if it was a pure accident.
