Ep. 55 A Regret

Elias has just returned to the Hospital after his impromptu dinner with Wita and the beautiful Koas have now returned to his boarding house. Elias slightly regretted why he had to invite Wita to join his rice dinner because the woman in addition to asking a lot of curiosity, Wita turned out to be a woman who was quite sensitive to his feelings for Fragrance.

Shortly after that Elias got a call from the nurse's ward if his patient named Dani was awake after the operation. Elias rushed to leave Sandy for the patient care room.

Upon arrival at Dani's patient's treatment room, Elias checked her condition. Seen there Dani is still not fully aware because there are still anastesia effects left.

"Dani Anggoro." Dani replied in a still limp voice.

"Worn out?" Ask Elias again.

"Twenty-seven." Answer Dani slowly.

"What do you feel now?" Ask Elias later.

"Gold, my legs can't be moved and my waist hurts a little." Dani replied with his ringing. The anesthetic has started to run out so the pain will start to appear slowly.

"Of course you feel that way because your foot has just been operated on because of a broken bone and is temporarily unusable. Then your waist has also just been operated on because the tear wound is too deep and large. The pain you feel indicates you are fine because no part of your body is numb." Elias explained.

"But I'm not paralyzed, are you Doc? My feet are not moving!" Dani half shouted. There was fear on his face.

"Just relax, your foot just got a pen-mounted operation and is now in the cast so be aware if it cannot be moved. It took a long time to recover and you will be able to walk again." Elias said again to explain and calm so that Dani does not panic. While in his heart Elias hopes Dani does not recognize him, however the appearance of Elias in time and now is very much different. Yes, Dani is one of the past that Elias wants to forget but Elias until now still can not forget his arch enemy. However, because of Dani, Elias was able to recognize Fragrance. His first love was missed.

"Hopefully Dani can't recognize me now." Elias murmured in his heart.

Dani let out a long sigh, she felt relieved after what Elias explained.

"You're allowed to drink after the gas is gone, then you rest again, I'm sorry." Elias was about to turn his body around to leave the room but was restrained by Dani's words.

"Why?" Dani asked ambiguously with her weak tone.

Elias stopped his steps without looking back.

"Why do you want to help me Elias?" Dani said that made Elias close his eyes as if holding something that wanted to come out of him and then slowly he turned to look straight at Dani who was lying weak.

"Because I'm a doctor. No doctor will allow a patient who needs help and a doctor will help without seeing the status of the patient be it a bad person or good, rich or poor, or poor, even his mortal enemies." Elias' answer struck Dani deeply. There was regret in his heart.

"I'm sorry for all my mistakes in El's past, I don't expect you to forgive me for being so inhumane but I still owe you an apology. Forgive me and thank you for all your help." Dani apologized sincerely to Elias, he really regretted his previous actions to Elias.
