Fragrant POV

On the way home, we both stayed silent. I don't know what Galih's thinking right now. Perhaps he was still in shock after learning of the illness his father was suffering from so much that there were too many thoughts in his mind at the moment and chose to be silent. Or maybe he was angry with me? I was included in the team of doctors who handled his papa surgery but did not say anything to him. But it wasn't my fault, was it? As usual, Galih would wait for me to enter the house before he actually left, just as he waited for me to enter the Hospital or campus to drive me every morning. Fragrant took off her shoes and placed them on a shoe rack right beside her door and then opened her door while crying out to greet her in a tired voice.
