Ep. 26 Caring for Elias

Fragrance immediately did its job as usual, checking the condition of patients who are under his responsibility, checking it and making reports as usual. Since this morning he has been heroes to and fro to feel tired and rest for a while in his room. There was not only himself, but some of his colleagues were also in the room along with their respective activities.

"Why is your face Van? Looks really cute." Rohan asked Alvan who was also a fellow doctor who was in a class with Wangi when the man entered the room.

"I'm really tired of just finishing surgery, want to sleep tight in the break room is not good enough bed rest but not so." Alvan answered with a sigh.

"Why?" Ask Rohan again who feels surprised, want to sleep so why not?

"There was Doctor Elias there sleeping, so I went straight back." Alvan Report.

"Yes eahh... The bed isn't just one van, find another bed?" Rohan.

"Ogah ah, horrified! Ntar was asked something." Alvan shuddered in horror imagining Elias with his cold gaze.

"Eh but the tumbens yes Doctor Elias sleeps there at this hour anyway, if remembered since this morning he will not look at all." Said Rohan again.

Fragrant who overheard the conversation of the two friends immediately remembered something about the message that Doctor Sandy said to him this morning.

"Dead me! I forgot the same thing that Dr. Sandy said this morning, that's okay, right? Don't you faint again." Scented in his heart with a slightly anxious feeling.

Without a second thought and not wanting anything to happen to Elias, Fragrance immediately got up from her seat while grabbing her stethoscope and ran outside the room.

"God! Just be surprised, that's the kid why?" Alvan immediately stroked his chest in shock when Wangi suddenly stood up to cause a squeak on his chair and ran away so that it made his friends confused.

"Where do I know? I was just as surprised as you were rich." Rohan answered, spreading his shoulder.

Fragrant immediately ran towards the doctor's rest room which was not too far from the doctors' room.

He paused at the door when he got there. He adjusted his breathing which was now bored because he ran as fast as lightning to get there. He tidied up some of his hair and his clothes were a little messy because he was already running around. After it felt neat enough and his breathing was back to normal, Fragrance slowly opened the door of the break room and then stepped his feet in slowly. Inside he saw someone lying on one of the beds there. After Fragrance approached him, it was Elias who was asleep with a clear sweat on his forehead, his face was pale.

Fragrant immediately took the tissue on the table of the room and wiped the sweat on Elias' forehead and face. After he measured Elias's body temperature with a thermometer he carried in his suit pocket, he also checked Elias' heart rate slowly with the stethoscope he was carrying.

"37,45°C. Pretty high." Fragrant Mumm.

Not long after that there was a knock from outside and Fragrance immediately rushed to open it.

"Excuse me Doc, I brought the order." An OG came with a basin of warm water and a small towel, and he brought a bowl of porridge and a bottle of mineral water.

"Thank you ma'am, please just put it all on the table." Fragrant Pinta. It turned out that Fragrance had gone to the pantry section and ordered the one that OG had brought to Elias.

The OG then left Fragrance with Elias after putting a basin of warm water and a bowl of porridge on the nightstand.

Fragrance took the small towel that OG brought earlier and soaked it in warm water for a while then squeezed it out and he used it to compress Elias' head. Perhaps disturbed by something that touched his head, Elias finally woke up and immediately touched the compress that was in his head.

"Ecc... What'sthis?" Elias was still half conscious.

"Agh... Fragrant? Ah I mean Fragrant Doctor." Elias instantly corrected his speech that unintentionally mentioned Fragrant's name casually while holding his throbbing head.

"Yes Doc, it's me. I'm sorry I accidentally woke up Doctor, but luckily Doctor woke up because it was time for lunch. I've ordered porridge for Doctor Elias, the doctor ate first, it's taken the medicine immediately." Ucapa Wangi while standing to get porridge for Elias to eat. While Elias could only frown his forehead staring at Fragrance while listening to Fragrant ravings that sounded like he was talking to a patient.

"Why can the Fragrant Doctor be here?" Instead of receiving a bowl of porridge that Fragrance offered to him, Elias asked why Fragrance could be there with him.

"Because I'm currently in charge of caring for a patient." Answer Fragrance.

"Patient? Fake me?" Elias pointed to himself with his finger.

"Who else? Here the one who's sick is just you Doctor Elias." Perfumed Speech.

"But..." The fragrance instantly cut off Elias' speech.

"Already, patients do not protest much, should be obedient to the doctor if you want to recover quickly, now you finish the porridge and take the medicine." Perfumed orders by putting a folding table on which there is already porridge, drinking water and medicine in front of Elias who is sitting on his bed.

"I don't accept objections!" He continued, When Elias was about to open his mouth again to speak. I don't know why in times of pain like this he did not have the energy to argue with Fragrance. On the one hand he was embarrassed because he was caught in a weak state, but on the other hand he was also happy because Fragrance was so attentive to want to take care of him. Elias chose to give up because his head was so light, his body was limp and felt hungry as well. Maybe following Fragrance without debate at this time is the right choice for him. Elias grabbed a spoon in front of him and put the porridge in his mouth.

"Jeek... Not good, bitter!" Elias frowned as he felt bitter in his mouth as he chewed his food.

"Ckk... If you're like this you look very normal, Doctor Elias." Fragrant Chirps while shaking his head.

Elias only glanced at Fragrance at a glance and continued to eat it, inevitably he had to swallow his food even though it was bitter in the mouth. Elias must not leave his stomach empty because he has to take his medicine. Moreover, he did not want to feel ashamed in the presence of Fragrance just for complaining bitterly in his mouth like a child whining to his mother.

With the wait of Fragrance finally Elias can spend a bowl of bitter porridge in his mouth and drink the medicine given by Fragrance for him.

"Well, now that it's all done, I'll go back to work. Doctor Elias just take a break or move to the patient's room? If you want I'll infuse the doctor." Kata Wangi offered to move to the inpatient room.

"Don't overdo it, I just have a normal fever because of exhaustion, I'll rest for a while then go home, I can put my own infusion at home if needed." Elias said as he laid his body back.

"Okey, then I say yes Doc, hopefully get well soon." Fragrant speech then turned his body about to step out of the room, but the voice of Elias stopped him.

"Thank you."

The fragrance turned back its body towards Elias.

"Thank you for taking care of me." Say Elias again.

"Yes, you're welcome." Wangi replied with an awkward smile and then walked back out of the room.

"Yes God... How can I ignore my feelings if you're like this Fragrant?" Elias murmured while covering his eyes with his arm when the door of the room was closed again.
