All of that did not escape the observation of all employees who passed by. They also hear Michael saying that Clari is his boss's wife. Like there's no way their master wants to marry an ugly girl he thinks.

Gossip about Clari and her Master spread so quickly in the office. They have been whispering since when the Master got married and why no one knows.

Michael and Clarissa arrived in front of Kendrick's room. Clari thanked Michael before entering because he had taken her. Michael just nodded respectfully. He actually wanted to report to his master but because there was Clari so he did not want to disturb.

"I'm sorry miss" Michael said before leaving.

Clarissa replied with a nod and knocked on the door several times. After getting an answer from the inside he went into Kendrick's room.

Inside Kendrick was shocked to see Clarissa coming in. He jumped straight from his seat. Kendrick stared at Clari as she got closer to him.

"Whether you're here, who told you to come here!!" kendrick snapped which immediately made Clari bow.

"I was told to come here to deliver lunch" replied Clari Lirih while putting her provisions on Ken's desk.

"But I didn't tell you, Ishh just embarrass me. What my employees said when they saw you" Ken concluded.

"I've been here and I can't bear to refuse my mother's request" Clarissa said.

"Only you want to come here" said Kendrick cynically.

Clarissa could only shut up and wait for Kendrick's next words. Because seeing Clarissa not say or say her words Kendrick immediately moved to sit on the sofa. He tells Clari to bring her food in front of Ken.

Clarissa didn't think much of it anymore. He rushed to bring the food he brought to Kendrick. Kendrick's tongue can't seem to refuse Clarissa's cooking. Though he rarely eats home cooking, usually he will go out to eat out. But since Clarissa, she rarely eats out.

Kendrick ate it right away after Clarissa finished preparing. "Why he cooks always shakes my tongue" Kendrick said.

Clarissa kept watching Ken while eating. He secretly steals glances and smiles unnoticed by Kendrick. There was something in his heart, I don't know what.

"Why with my heart, why is it pounding like this" Clari murmured inwardly.

Kendrick finished eating. Clarissa immediately took care of it and she also said straight home. She does not want to interfere with her husband's work.

Kendrick just kept quiet without looking back. He immediately returned to his desk without caring for Clarissa. "I'm ready to go home" he said while sticking out his hand hoping Ken would reply but was not responded.

"Living home does not need to be pleasantries and tomorrow you do not come here again. Make me ashamed" firmly do not want to say thank you, uh even angry at Clarissa.

Clarissa just nodded slowly and then walked out of Kendrick's room with tears in her eyes. "Why can't I get even a little attention" Clari murmured.

His eyes were rounded when he saw Jannie coming back to the office without the slightest fear. He feared that it would be a problem if Clarissa knew that the woman arguing was her former boss.

Clari kept going until she was finally in front of Jannie. He immediately asked the security guard on duty why until the woman argued with him.

Michael immediately followed Clari's words and said that the woman was named Jannie former Kendrick who had trapped her husband until Clarissa had to marry a man she did not love.

Jannie glanced at Clari from top to bottom and smiled cynically. Michael immediately kicked Jannie out so as not to make a fuss in the company let alone be the spectacle of all employees. Before long Clari's car arrived in front of the building but Clari did not go directly into the car. He even chimed in on Jannie's words.

"I'm his girlfriend, Kendrick will forgive me and you will be fired later after becoming a mistress here" said Jannie immediately followed by Clarissa.

"There is a right for you to say that. A lover is not but an ex. You should be ashamed to have done something wrong but not aware of it." said Clarissa in a mocking tone.

Suddenly Jannie is upset and wants to grab Clarissa's hair but quickly Michael confronts her.

"Who dares to mock me, you have no right here either." Jannie's words were immediately cut by Clari.

"Ohh obviously I have a right here. Because I am the legal wife of Mr Kendrick Emilio Raymond and you are nobody" Clari replied firmly. Michael alone did not think that behind the innocent face of Clari there is great courage.

Jannie is shocked by Clarissa's words calling herself Kendrick's legal wife. She laughs and taunts Clari as if she does not believe that Clari is Ken's wife. But Clari's remarks were immediately justified by Michael with a photographic proof of Kendrick's marriage to Clari. Like being struck by lightning, Jannie immediately limp when seeing the wedding photo. He still does not believe that loved ones are married.

"That's not possible. Kendrick is mine and forever will be mine, you don't deserve him. Look.. I'm beautiful, slim, and fashionable while you're cute, ugly like an elephant. Hahah we're not equal, even you're at most just a poor man who was elevated by Ken." Michael was furious when he heard Jannie continue to insult her.

But not with Clarissa who casually faced Jannie with her sweet smile. Without any offense. "I am not beautiful, slim, and fashionable like you but when it comes to wealth we can fight" said Clari with a smile.

Jannie immediately replies and convinces him that she is superior to Clarissa.

"Ohh yes prove it then" said Clari

"Huhah evidence? It's clear here that I'm better than you" Jannie said. Because Clarissa has been lazy to argue with Jannie a lot, she did not press anymore Jannie's ceremony and went straight into the car.

Before leaving Clari opened the car window and said, "You are indeed beautiful miss but your heart is not!! Why is it beautiful if this heart is filled with dirt, do not be proud of beauty because it can change at any time" keraa satire for Jannie.

The car glass was closed and the driver immediately drove his vehicle. Jannie is upset by Clarissa's words and wonders if Clarissa is Kendrick's wife?

He rushed down to break up the quarrel so as not to disturb the other workers but when it reached the bottom. Kendrick did not come straight to them, he stopped and listened to each of Clarissa's words that were easily answered and made Jannie die. Apart from that Kendrick smiled seeing the defeated Jannie talk to Clarissa. There was a sense of amazement in itself seeing Clari's bold behavior.

He did not come to them and just watched. When Clari came home, Kendrick also returned to her room.

When it leads to the elevator there is a notification to enter Kendrick's cellphone. He stopped his steps and looked at the incoming message.

Turns out it's a number that Ken doesn't know opens.

📲 "This is me Clari. I got permission to go to mom and dad's house, yeah, I miss them. After that I went straight home" so the message from Clarissa.

📲 "Sup to.." short answer from Ken. He turned off his phone and got into the elevator.
