Part 12 #Lanni

Kendrick was in the company this morning. Clarissa had brought him provisions for sarapaa. Ken had no time for breakfast. When in the office he opened the contents of Clarissa stock containing his favorite yellow rice.

Kendrick loves Clarissa's yellow rice. But when eating out, he bought himself the taste would be different and his tongue would not accept.

Kendrick started eating his stuff all the way out. If Ken's lunch isn't going out of company or out of his room. Clarissa always sent him lunch. With a short message given by Clari on her personal chat. And what Ken likes is a piece of paper with a message from Clarissa. Which is always plastered with food.

He did not even throw away the papers and instead stored them in a folder.

Time went on until lunch time finally came. But Clarissa didn't send any message to Ken. It made him think that Clarissa would not send him lunch.

Tock.... Tock....

Suddenly the sound of the door being knocked, Ken's eyes sparkled and thought it was Michael bringing lunch from Clarissa. But his guess is wrong Michael instead entered with someone who is clearly known by Kendrick but made him very surprised.

"Sorry sir, Miss Lanni is very pushy to meet you" Michael said half-bending in apology.

"Leave us alone." Kendrick replied to Michael.

Michael nodded and agreed and he left Kendrick's room. The room was just Kendrick and Lanni.

Lannie Renta Mahendra is Jannie's half-sister. They are from the same father but not serahim means different mother. Before Mr. Mahendra married Jannie's mother, he had married Kiara and had a son named Lanni. But her mother died giving birth to Lanni.

Well there Mr. Mahendrah very bad. Lannie was helped by the baby sister. As time went by and when Lanni was one year old. Mr. Mahendra meets Raina's real mother Jannie who happens to be her secretary. From there they got into a relationship and decided to get married.

Raina did not mind Lanni's presence. He accepts and nurtures Lanni like his own son. And when Lanni turns two years old Raina is pregnant with Jannie. Lannie loves Jannie like a real sister.

Lanni has been living abroad to continue her studies S2. He is now back because he has completed his studies. She was very disappointed when Jannie said she broke up with Kendrick. So Lanni goes to Ken's company alone to ask Jannie to come back. It was rejected by Kendrick.

He was already disappointed and hurt with Jannie. Kendrick tells Lanni to get out but she doesn't want to until Ken gets Jannie back.

"I've made it clear that your sister has made a terrible mistake. So if now I decide it is natural and I should repay him. But no!! I still have the heart to pity him, don't you feel ashamed to come here just to ask me to come back with your sly sister? Ck don't want me to accept it, mending now you're out of here before my patience runs out.....GO!!" kendrick snapped, making Lanni surprised and then he approached Ken instead.

Kendrick was getting angry because Lanni didn't even pay attention to her words. Getting closer and now Lanni was in front of Kendrick with a seductive aura.

Kendrick tries to dodge but Lanni pulls the hand so they hug each other.

"Mas Ken!!" clarissa's cry suddenly came and caught the two of them.

Kendrick immediately took off the hug by pushing Lanni and explained to Clarissa not to misunderstand.

Clarissa was getting closer towards the two of them. Lannie smiled cynically looking at Clarissa who was walking towards her with a look of disappointment. He thinks Clarissa will get angry and leave Ken but his expectations are too high.

Clarissa even slapped Lanni as hard as she could.

Twice the tanparan was showered on Lannie. He held both her red cheeks and the corners of her lips that were torn, due to the slap of the very strong Clarissa.

Lanni looks shocked and angry when she sees Clarissa slapping him twice. He wanted to avenge Clarissa's slap but her movements were less agile. His wrist was gripped by Clari so firmly and then threw her away.

Kendrick was stunned to see Clarissa's behavior that dared to slap Lanni. He didn't think Clarissa would do that.

"Basic of a cunning woman. Brother and sister make no difference. Will justify any means to seize something that has been released. Where is self-esteem placed? Not ashamed of that face?" angry at Clarissa yet still with a relaxed tone.

"YOU!! You should have left Ken's life. Because he doesn't suit you....Ck you want to marry Ken for treasure, right? Just tell me how much I want to love you. Cihh appearance dirty, ugly, fat. No match for you with Kendrick who is rich, handsome.." Janni, constantly hurling insults at Clarissa. But Clari just smiled in response to Janni's words.

"And you are a cheap woman? Begging for love and hoping my husband will come back with your sister or with you? THE DREAM!! Until then I won't let go of my husband just for a cheap woman like you. REMEMBER THAT!!"

"YOU!! The village girl..." Janni is about to grab Clarissa's hair but is soon blocked by Kendrick.

"Go from here and don't even set foot in my company....Michael!!" kendrick called his assistant.

"Yes sir?" Michael who heard Ken's scream from inside immediately opened the door.

"This woman's officer is from here and remember to tell the security guard not to let her enter my company again" Kendrick said firmly. Highlight his sharp eyes emitted a heat that instantly made a person whose guts would shrink if he saw it.

Michael dragged Janni out of Kendrick's room. Outside he threw Janni down violently. So that makes Janni slumped to the floor. "Listen to you guys.don't let this woman come in and get out of here"

"Every master" replied the security guard on duty.

After that Michael went back inside and hoped there was no problem between his best friend and Clarissa.

While in Kendrick's room. Eve feels hot when the AC is cold. Clarissa immediately put the provisions she brought to Ken's table.

He also sat down on the sofa, leaning his head. His heart ignited such a great sense of jealousy and anger. But he knew that the incident was also on the basis of deliberate and perpetrated by Janni himself.

Kendrick was silent without a sound. In his heart he felt guilty and wanted to apologize but lost his sense of prestige.

"I'm sorry I came here without your permission. Mama asked me to take her by myself and there was your favorite cake made with mom." Clarissa glanced at Ken.

"I'm sorry." said Ken then, forcing his lips.

Clarissa was shocked because Ken never said sorry before. Even if he did something to Clarissa. But this time Ken apologized for the first time either unconsciously or not. But that made Clarissa touched.

Clarissa smiled and told Ken to have lunch soon. But instead Ken was wondering why Clarissa was not angry and how she knew Lanni was Jennie's sister.

"So Michael told me everything. Actually, I don't know, but I was walking into Ken's room when I met Michael." Clarissa recounts the first time she found out if there was Lanni in her room until she finally caught Ken hugging Lanni.
