Part 5; Teresa, First Female Friend

If asked, who is Elena's best friend? Elena would answer quickly, "Teresa." Because Teresa was the first female friend Elena had. Although their age is two years different, which is where Teresa is older, but they are very familiar like friends of the same age.

Elena doesn't have many friends. Even if you think about it, Elena has more enemies than good friends. Elena is a quiet person and keeps a lot of secrets, so she prefers to be alone.

When she first met Teresa, it was very difficult for Elena to start a conversation with the girl. Elena completely avoided engaging in chatter with people around. He was afraid of unknowingly divulging all the secrets he had hidden so well to this day.

Elena is grateful to have a girlfriend like Teresa. Teresa is a very cheerful girl, much different from the quiet and aloof nature of Elena. And also the thing that makes Elena very happy to have a friend like Teresa, because the girl is very mature. He did not hesitate to rebuke Elena if she did something wrong.

And because of Teresa's kindness, Elena felt a little overwhelmed. He felt sad because he could not behave as he was. Elena kept a lot of stories and secrets. It was like Elena was someone else borrowing her body. He always wears a mask to protect himself. And that made her sad because she had lied to Teresa who had been very kind to Elena all this time.

"I'm sorry for bothering you this week, Teresa."

Elena placed some of the thick maps she had just worked on on on Teresa's desk. Not to forget he also put two chocolate bars on top of the map collision. The chocolate that he had bought at lunch break was deliberately wanted to give to Teresa.

"Don't talk to me, Elena. I'm so upset and hate you!"

"You can be angry and upset with me, Teresa. But please don't hate me. I can't accept the fact that you hate me."

Without Elena noticing, the tears on her cheeks just flowed away. Teresa who heard the change in Elena's voice turned to look at the girl. He immediately stood up and hugged Elena tightly. As Elena had thought before, Teresa had never and could not possibly hate Elena. But still Teresa's attitude just now managed to make Elena feel very sad.

"Elena why are you crying like this? Oh my God, I was just kidding. Why are you taking it so seriously" Teresa said as she patted Elena's back slowly.

"I.. I'm so afraid of losing a good friend like you, Teresa."

"You'll never lose a friend like me, Elena. I'll always be your friend and you won't have to worry about that."

"thank you. Thank you for being my friend."

Teresa let go of her embrace to Elena. The tidying up of Elena's hair that looked messy. Teresa smiled, smiling so sweetly made Elena smile to look at her.

"So.. Do you have any free time tonight, Elena? If so, can we go out and eat something delicious together? Count as a sign of your apology to me haha."

Elena nodded quickly, "Sure. We can go and eat whatever you want tonight, Teresa."

"Yeah! But before that let's quickly finish our work. The sooner we finish, the sooner we can leave."

"Yes." Yeah."

Elena shook her head. Now she is the one doing the activity like Teresa did before. Looking up at the night sky.

"What do you think of someone who often lies?"

"I hate him, of course."

"That means you hate me, too, Teresa?"

Elena looked back at Teresa. The girl he was looking at immediately laughed. Laughter that Elena couldn't guess. Laughter that has its own meaning.

"Our friendship is so funny, isn't it? For two years we have been best friends. But you know, Elena. I feel like you're hiding something from me. Something very important."

Teresa gave her best smile to Elena. He shook Elena's right palm and patted her gently and quietly.

"I won't force you to tell me everything. I'm sure you have your own reasons. But if you want to tell and need someone to listen to you, I'll be there to listen to you, Elena."

Elena's tears fell back. He quickly looked towards the sky, trying to stop the growing number of tears that were about to fall. And quickly wiped away the trace of tears on her cheeks.

"Gift from me," Elena smiled sweetly, "Gift our friendship. But don't you think it's a parting gift, but rather a gift about the start of our new friendship."

Teresa looked at the card carefully, "Yes, I love gifts and I'll take them. But, what card is this? And what's the use of it?"

"Haha I don't understand either, but the cards are limitless. You can use it for anything. Shopping, staying in hotels and more. You can use it freely."

Teresa looked really shocked, "You're kidding me?!"

"Yes, you can try it later after coming home from here."

"You're like a princess of the Kingdom of Ardorarias, Elena."

Elena smiled back, "You can certainly think of it that way. And oh if you need me and I can't get you to see, you can use that card to get into the royal house."

Elena just smiled at Teresa. In reality, Elena wasn't lying about this. And the card he had just given Teresa was a card that was specially used by the Royal family.
