Chapter 35 - The Mysterious Hoeing Man

Two crew members were seen knocking on the door of the house occupied by the director. They want to talk about filming that starts tomorrow morning.

After a long time of knocking on the door, no answer could be heard from inside the house. The two crew members found it very strange that the director asked them to meet him after dinner. So there was no way he could sleep or go anywhere else.

Doubtfully, one of the crew pulled the doorknob.

They looked at each other, then nodded their heads in agreement to enter the house.

The two crews carefully inspected the entire house. They also looked into the Director's room whose door was open. How shocked they were when they saw the dead body of the director who was lifeless with a terrible body condition.

Without trying to get in and touch the bodies, they immediately ran out of the house and shouted for help.

The steward and his companions who had just finished their dinner, were shocked when they heard the screams outside. They immediately went out to find out what was happening, as well as the people who were inside the other houses in the villa. They all go out to find out what's going on.

Not far from the place, a confused crew walked away from the villa. It looks like he's lost. He had only intended to check the set for tomorrow, but he had instead walked quite a distance from the villa.

Suddenly, his eyes caught the movement of someone. He immediately peeked out from behind the bushes. Seemed someone who shouldered a hoe, was dragging a lump of body that smelled foul. The stench was felt in his nose. It was obvious that it was a rotting corpse.

The crew members immediately decided to leave the place. Unfortunately, he accidentally stepped on a tree branch so that the branch broke and made a sound that was heard enough by the figure of the Hoeing Man.

Realizing he had been found out, the crew member ran away. Hoeing men chasing him. Due to its stocky body, it made the crew members run very slowly. The Hoey Man caught up with him.

Two of his friends who were looking for him, heard a voice from the direction of execution by the Hoey Man. They immediately checked the source of the sound.

The Hoeed Man immediately escaped after slaughtering one of the crew members. When the two friends arrived, they saw a corpse with a broken neck. They recognized the victim and immediately ran towards the villa for help.

The two crew members who found the body of the victim, told the chronology of the discovery of the body.

"But who killed him? The director was also killed tonight. This place is really terrible. We need to get off this island as soon as possible!" One of the crew looked scared.

"Calm down! My friend called the police and asked the ship to pick us up. For a while, we'll take this body to the villa.

"We're not cops, but we're detectives." Steward smiled.

"What's? The detective? Hahaha .. This is Indonesia, man! not America," ledek Wijaya.

"Easy! Let them investigate. Would you like to wait here? Who knew the killer was among us?" Viola was trying to defend the steward.

"My friend and I aren't the killers at all. We have the perfect alibi. We were at home until we heard the screams of the crew finding the director's body. Our alibis can be proven to each other." The servant said calmly.

"Yes, I saw it in this house earlier." Viola.

"Then I'll check your alibis one by one." The servant said very calmly. He believes the killer is already among them.
