Chapter 14 - The Strange Man Again

If someone is in a place that a normal person should not go to, he may be committing a crime there.

The rose is now sitting in front of people who are curious to listen to the story. Indeed, in his village there are so many irregularities that make people curious.

"Maybe this village is cursed. No child has ever been born in this village. Now also many village girls are mysteriously disappearing. Maybe they were kidnapped by the bad guys earlier. I don't know where they came from. Looks like this time I'm the target of their abduction" complained Rose.

"But why are they kidnapping the village girls?" Lestari looks confused.

"Many reasons are possible. It could be that they sell girls to pimp, or take their organs for sale to the black market." The servant gave his opinion.

"It can also be used as a sacrificial victim," said Puspa.

"You're all right, Puspa! In modern times like today, is there still a person who adheres to the gift?" Zulfikar laughed amusedly.

"It could be true, Mom! A few days ago, I saw a foreign man dressed as a shaman. He must have done something in this village" said Mawar.

"Ah, I remember! The man we met on the edge of the forest was not the servant? He said he was looking for the snake" cried Zulfikar.

"What's? He was near the forbidden forest? Surely he did have a veiled intention," said Mawar sure.

"What is in the forbidden forest?" ask the curious flight attendant.

"The forest used to be a place of cult rituals of devil worshipers. Maybe the devil is still there. In addition to demons, the forest was also inhabited by many fine creatures. No one dared to go there. The entrance to the forest was never passed again" said Roses.

"Don't the cult still exist and kidnap the girls to be followers, or even victims." The steward tried to guess.

"That's impossible, Mom! The leader of the stream had long since died. His followers are no longer there either. This village is cursed probably because of the sins of the cultists," said Rose again.

"Is it possible that the people who kidnapped you are heretics?" The steward was trying to find another possibility.

"You'd better stay here with us. I'm afraid those people are still after you. You can ask your parents for permission to stay here for a while" Lestari bargained.

The rose looks dazed. There was sadness emanating from his father's wayah.

"What's up, Rose?" ask Lestari.

"My parents are dead. I live alone in this village. Maybe that's why the kidnappers came to my house and tried to take me forcibly" said Rose.

"That's it, don't be sad! You can think of me as your brother" entertain Lestari.

Rose smiled and thanked Lestari.

After finding a solution for the Roses, the Pramuja and Zulfikar decide to return to their own villa.

While on his way to the villa, Zulfikar's eyes caught a suspicious movement from behind the bushes.

Zulfikar ran towards the suspicious bushes. It appears that someone ran away when he realized his hiding had been discovered.

"Here Zul is, do not be pursued!" exclaimed the flight attendant because he had estimated the speed of Zulfikar would not be able to chase after the strange man who had escaped first.

"Hey, isn't that person very similar to the man we met on the edge of the forest? I couldn't see his face earlier, but his clothes clearly resembled that of a strange man we met in the woods," Zulfikar said.

"I also thought so when I saw it at a glance earlier," said Pramuja.

The steward and Zulfikar looked at each other as if they had the same thought. They believe that the strange man they met near the forbidden forest has something to do with the mystery surrounding the village.
