DEAD
Section 30

Yudha woke up and did not find Rana beside her. Of course, his wife chose to sleep with Daffa after their quarrel last night. The quarrel .. Yudha thought about it for a while, pondered, then took a deep breath.

He crossed the line, he thought. All this time he had never been rude to Rana, always giving up or taking the middle path. Anything other than making Rana angry let alone fighting with him. But last night, he did what he never did to his wife, angry.

The man thought he should be able to say everything in a more subtle way, which he immediately brushed aside. Rana the type of person who is stubborn and determined in his stance, it will be difficult to change the opinion of the woman even in a subtle way, especially with emotions. His wife would be very angry.

“But why did I get there yesterday?” yudha's monologue immediately woke up and walked towards the bathroom. His head is dizzy, work in the office is quite a lot to drain energy and mind, making him have to go home late. Hearing the bad news and seeing the state of his son made Yudha emotional release.

“Yes, definitely because of that. I was just tired and worried about seeing Daffa getting so angry at Rana. I think I should quickly apologize to him.”

Yudha turned on the tap and washed her face. After feeling refreshed, she came out of the bathroom and walked towards the balcony door. A thick violet curtain hung over the door, and opened the glass door. It's still night, maybe it's early morning. I don't know, Yudha didn't see the clock, but it's still dark out there.

He just wanted to calm his mind by getting a fresh breeze in the current hours. His room was on the second floor, in a different section to Rana's and Daffa's rooms. The only room with a balcony. From there Yudha could immediately look towards the road in front of the house, large trees that grew on the side of the road and the roofs of neighboring houses that were not too close from his house.

The distance between buildings in this housing is not too close—because the yard of each house is quite spacious—especially his house which he said has not been occupied for years, a little remote. At least there are other houses facing each other or next to each other, but the house is not. There were only big trees, big trees, and big trees around him. Up there, the moon shone brightly, brightly.

Yudha herself had no problem with that, she liked the quiet atmosphere like this after a day of struggling with the crowded crowd in the office. Moreover, Rana immediately fell in love with this house once she saw it for the first time. Indeed, the one who took care of their move was Yudha, but the one who chose a place to stay was Rana.

At that time he was still busy with the management of the files of promotion and his move to the headquarters, so he asked Rana for help to find a new home for them. Rana doesn't mind moving here, although the distance to the office will be further than before.

Recalling his wife, Yudha heaved a heavy sigh. He still regretted his actions and decided to apologize tomorrow morning. Feeling calm, Yudha went back into the room, intending to sleep. But thirsty, Yudha went to the kitchen first.

Kitchen lights are on, which is unusual because they always turn off all lights before going to bed. Yudha stepped up quickly, faintly hearing the sound of the frying pan clashing with the sodet. He thought it might be Rana or Rena who was there, cooking something out of hunger. Even there was no one there. The kitchen is empty, the stove is not on and there are no pans on it. No one has finished cooking.

Slowly, Yudha turned to the side. The moonlight coming in from the window slit faintly showed the back of someone standing in front of the stove, Yudha could see the figure's hand twitching. He was surprised, very surprised.

Of course at that time Yudha was alone, there was no one standing there and it should not be there. The one in the kitchen is definitely not human. Yudha quickly came out of the kitchen. Do not want to linger with a figure who is not from the same world as him.

Yudha is not the type of cowardly man, from a small raised as a brave figure by his father. But he also still does not want to involve himself or just be quiet if there are strange things happening around him. Especially when it comes to something like this, Yudha chooses to go and stay away. He said the figure would not interfere if it was not disturbed.

He reached the doorway when the figure appeared right in front of him, making Yudha jump backwards in surprise. The kitchen is not bright, only dim because of the minimal lighting from the outside. Surprisingly, with such little light, Yudha could clearly see the appearance of the figure standing before her.

Her long, shabby hair rarely covered her black face with entirely white eyes. The circles around his eyes were even blacker than his face. The figure's hands extended forward, with black veins poking out from behind his pale skin.

Not until there, the door behind him that connects the kitchen with the backyard was pounded hard. This was the third time Yudha had been startled in just a few minutes, and she felt that it was enough. He wanted to immediately return to the room, but this long-haired figure in front of him was blocking the way.

Yudha did not want to care anymore about what was standing behind that door. He remembered the time of the first day of living in this house there was also someone knocking on the door. There was no one standing there, but now Yudha was convinced that she had turned around and opened the door, surely he would find another terrible figure who somehow appeared and disturbed him.

And it's true. The door behind him opened violently, but Yudha did not open it, of course, it was locked. Due to the sound of the door hitting the wall, Yudha turned around. His guess was right, there, set in huge trees and a black sky, stood a man without a piece of clothing covering his body. His body was covered in blood and there was a large hole in his left chest, where the heart should be. His face was swollen and bluish, giving off a foul scent. His eyes were all red, glaring furiously.

Yudha's reflex pushed the door and re-locked it, then quickly ran over to the ghost standing in the doorway. Actually he just wanted to go back to the room, not mean to attack or anything. Seeing Yudha running towards him, the ghost suddenly disappeared. Yudha did not care anymore, directly going up to the second floor. At times like this he needed his wife, so instead of going to his room, Yudha ran to Daffa's room instead.

How surprised he was when he saw Rana lying on the floor, instead of on the bed with Daffa. From his position Yudha knew that Rana had not accidentally slept there, there was already something going on in this room. Yeah, there's gotta be something!

He picked up Rana and put her back to bed. It was a tough night.
