DEAD

DEAD
Section 20

Rena doesn't know what else to say. What she had experienced during these few days of staying at her brother's house really made her witless. From a small Rena grew up in a family that always thought rationally, mystical things like this is not something that is often discussed.

When alone, which makes him rarely stay at home is also not because of fear or something like that, but because he feels lonely. Rena did not expect that now, at her brother's house, she experienced many terrible events that were quite draining of energy and mind. This was the first time in her life that Rena felt like this.

“Tante why?”

Daffa's question made Rena aware of her daydream.

“Eh, it's okay, kok,” replied Rena quickly while smiling widely. “Daffa, auntie wants something, can?”

Daffa quickly replied, “Tante wants what?”

“On the child who gave the book to you ..” Rena hung up the sentence. He wanted to ask if his nephew knew that the girl was not human, but did not know how to tell Daffa.

Daffa waited for Rena to continue her sentence, but the girl did not speak anymore because Arsya was already standing at the door waving and smiling widely.

“Hai,” say, “I bother, well?”

Rena shook her head, immediately got up from her seat and walked over to Arsya.

“Gak, coke. Come, log in.”

“What's the chat, anyway? How serious is it?” arsya asked after sitting next to Daffa. But not yet answered, Arsya again spoke when he saw the picture of Daffa on the table. “This is Daffa that picture?”

Daffa nodded with a cramped face. “Good?”

“Good, but who is this?”

Just now Daffa wanted to answer when Rena asked Arsya a question.

“Oh, yes. Why are you here so early in the morning?”

Arsya immediately realized her goal of coming to Rena's house this early in the morning. He had wanted to take Rena and Daffa for a walk, there happened to be an amusement park that had just opened near his housing. Last night, when Arsya saw him, she immediately thought of taking Daffa and Rena there.

“I want to take you for a walk. Nearby is a newly opened amusement park. Who knows you guys stay home and want fresh breeze.”

“Daffa would like to come. Can ya, Auntie?”

Seeing such joyous Daffa, Rena had no other choice but to accept Arsya's invitation. After all, he also needs to entertain himself after experiencing a spate of scary events.

“OK, but I change clothes first, yeah. Daffa too, here aunty help to room.”

“Let me aja.”

Arsya quickly carried Daffa. “Where is Daffa room?” tanyanya.

“On top floor, in front of room Aunt Rena.”

“Later Daffa show, well.”

In doing so, Arsya took Daffa up the stairs to the second floor. Rena looked at the young man from behind. Only then did he realize there was something on Arsya that interested him.

***

“There are many well, Yes. You're very kind to bring us here. Daffa really needs entertainment like this, anyway. Pity him at home continue.”

Rena looked at her niece who was playing fishing. They had just come down from the ring when the boy saw a small pond filled with toy fish and children fishing on the edge of the pond. As before, Daffa continued to force Arsya and Rena to play something there. Of course, not all of the boy's requests were obeyed. They only ride the rides that are still safe for Daffa's feet.

Arsya is looking in the same direction as Rena. There was a big smile on his face.

“No problem, really. I also love playing Daffa. It just so happened that she looked a lot like my late sister who died a year ago. If he was alive, he might have been as big as Daffa.”

“Ehm, sorry. I didn't mean—”

Arsya cut out Rena's sentence quickly. “Do not apologize. Relax again.”

They sat on a long bench watching Daffa. Rena placed both hands beside her thighs, holding a bench seat. The gentle touch on her fingers made Rena turn her head. Arsya just accidentally held his hand.

Arsya just smiled awkwardly while pulling her hand away. Rena was as wrong as that young man. A clumsy smile then threw the face in the other direction, embarrassed. He felt that right now his face must be red.

“I want to buy ice cream, you want to? Like eating good ice cream, nih,” Arsya said later, trying to solve the awkward situation that enveloped them.

“Bby,” reply Rena slowly.

Arsya immediately stood up and Rena breathed a sigh of relief when the young man was already quite far away from her. He held his chest that was already pounding. There was a strange sensation when his hand came into contact with Arsya's hand earlier.

Arsya is handsome, but that is not what makes Rena interested. His attitude and attention to Daffa, slowly managed to win Rena's heart. The girl did not expect that she would fall in love that easily. Is this true love? Or just awe?

“This.”

Rena turned her head and found that Arsya was already standing next to her while thrusting ice cream. He picked up the ice cream still with an awkward attitude.

“Still.”

Arsya sat beside Rena with a relaxed attitude.

“So before, Daffa lived alone at home?” arsya asked again, looking straight at Daffa.

Rena looked over and frowned confused. “Means?”

“You ‘t come here to take care of Daffa. This means that Daffa lived alone in the house. Her parents ‘kan work.”

“Oh it. Daffa yesterday entered Kindergarten. Upon returning from there, Daffa was entrusted to a playground that was beside his Kindergarten. It's kind of a daycare, anyway. I feel sorry for him too. Brother Rana and Sister Yudha are too busy working to be able to take care of Daffa. Actually I also disagree about Kak Rana who is still choosing to keep working, but want how else. Kak Rana emang from the first pengan to become a career woman, Kak Rana is also a hard person, if you already want something difficult to prohibit. It is impossible also ‘kan Brother Yudha who stopped working and kept Daffa. So yeah gini.”

“You if you are married later want to keep working, no?”

Arsya's sudden question took Rena by surprise.

“Eh, that .. I haven't thought about it yet, but after seeing Daffa, I'm so desperate I'll take care of the kids, anyway. Why are you like that?”

Arsya shook her head slowly. “It's just, really. By the way I also want my wife to be more willing to take care of children than work.”

“Eh?”

Arsya's phone rings, there's an incoming call from Marvin.

“Ya, why, Vin?” arsya asked after answering the call.

Rena could hear Marvin's voice down there, but couldn't clearly capture what he was saying. It's just that whatever Marvin said made Arsya surprised.

“What? Okay-okay, I'm the same Rena go there right now. Yeah, I'm with Rena, anyway. I will be clear later. Wait for me there. Okay!”

Arsya disconnects the call and puts her phone in her pants pocket.

“Why, Sya?” ask Rena curious.

“We have to go back now. Dara accident.”

“What?!”
