08: The wounded prince [3]

Serena flinched as Van abruptly halted her steps, "why did you stop?" Confused speech.

Van did not reply, the man just stared at him flat under the rain. But slowly he let go of Serena's grip on her wrist.

"ah! M-sorry..," Serena looked clumsy, "I didn't realize I was still pulling your hand."

There was no reply, Van just stood silently staring at him. It also made Serena feel a little awkward and chose to turn around and continue her steps.

"Hurry, your wounds must be treated." He said as he walked away from Van.

While the man was still unmoved where he was standing, he was speechless watching Serena's back slowly drifting away. Van looked at his hand that Serena had just held with a face that could not be interpreted.

"You're not coming?! I thought you understood what I said, didn't you?" Omel Serena came back to Van.

"I shouldn't have let go of your hand earlier" he added, without hesitation, pulling back the man's wrist and pulling him to walk.

Van who was silent just obeyed, he walked following every step of the girl's foot in front of him. I don't know what was on the man's mind, but his eyes only looked at Serena who was leading him from the front.

"Okay, no one seems to see us" Serena said, closing the back door of her house.

Yeah, he really took Van to his house. In the rain, he dragged the man with him without caring if anyone saw or suspected him. Now they were inside the house soaked.

"Sit here, I'll get you a towel and a medicine box." Said Serena while sitting Van in one of the dining table chairs.

The man looked puzzled, he turned his head to and fro because maybe it was a foreign place to him. Slowly the man stood up and scrutinized every item in the room, the look on his face was like a curious child with a new place.

"Hey, don't move too much, your body is wet," Serena came with a towel and some clothes that she had taken from the warehouse a few days ago.

He pulled Van down and sat her back in the chair, and Serena pulled out a roll of bandages and antiseptic liquid from her medicine box. Don't forget Van whose eyes are now sparkling curious about the objects brought by Serena, several times he wanted to reach her but was immediately pushed aside by the girl.

"Shut up for a moment, let me treat your wound," Serena held Van's two stout shoulders, "it should be stitched up.., but at least cleaned first." Add it with an anxious tone.

Serena was silent, her anxious face immediately turned into a confused look. Several times he opened his eyes to make sure what he saw was not a dream or hallucination.

"What's wrong with the wound?" He said confusedly, "Isn't your wound very deep? Why is it so small now?" Serena was completely confused.

Van just silently looked at Serena who was confused and raved to himself in front of her, he only noticed the girl pointing at her wound many times with a strange face.

"Did I see wrong?" He murmured while attaching a large plaster wound to cover the wound on Van's chest, "probably because it was a little dark in there...." Smashed again.

Even so, Serena thinks that she has been wrong because the forest was a little dark at that time. Plus now Van did not show a reaction of pain at all, even though when he appeared in the forest the man was seen trembling with paled lips.

"Well, it's done." Say Serena while tidying up the medicine box.

The girl took a towel and gave it to Van, "wear this, dry your body and hair".

Van just stared at the lump of cloth, he saw it alternating towards Serena.

"Ah..., don't you know how to use it?" Serena said in frustration, "give it to me" The girl took back the towel that was in Van's hand.

Serena approached and placed the towel over Van's soaked head to cover her face, the man was shocked but was silent again after being calmed by Serena. Now she's just like a child when Serena dries her hair.

While Serena is now back sculpting, their position is now very close. His hands still cupped the towel that enveloped Van's head, but the man's face could be clearly seen looking at him with a yellow bead that was so beautiful.

"Your eyes.., very pretty...." Mumbled Serena.

This was the first time he had seen the man's face clearly, even now he was looking at it from such a close distance. Van has a very handsome face with firm jaws and a pair of striking yellow beads. His thick eyebrows and red lips really made the man look like he came from another world.

Serena was still silent looking at the man's face, she had not realized that right now their position was a bit. Van was sitting on a chair, while Serena stood facing him without taking off her arms on the man's face.

Just for a moment, Serena immediately regained her senses and immediately retreated a few steps away from Van who was staring at her with a flat face.

"I-I have to rinse my body, I-you wait here, do you understand?" Said Serena in a tone of voice that was somehow like a clumsy person.

Of course that man did not reply, he just stared at Serena who was away from him and disappeared in the doorway.

Whatisit? Why are his eyes yellow? Is it not normal to be thrown into the forest? No..., ...No, he understands everything I say, but why does he never speak? Is he mute?

Lots of questions in her head, the girl daydreamed while letting the water from the shower flutter her body.

You could say he was pretty crazy today, bringing someone he didn't even know his origin. He shouldn't have done that, plus he just stayed alone. Do not forget also that the man is a little...., not normal? Well, it looks like it.

Although Serena never felt threatened by Van's presence, the man always followed her like a child. However, still he could not immediately judge that Van was not dangerous. Serena now leaves the man in her kitchen but she locks the door between the kitchen and the living room.

I'm doing what the hell?
