Cursed And Love's

Cursed And Love's
02: Meeting [2]

Serena was still shocked, but her fear began to subside as she realized the man did not seem to have any intention of attacking her. It can be seen from the way he hugs food like a child who does not want his toys taken, it seems he is just hungry and wants food.

Honestly, Serena was still afraid, but she tried to brave herself to be able to take her valuables. The girl got up slowly and vigilantly, her every move making the man growl.

"H-hey,...It's okay, if you want the food, just take it," he said softly, "I just want my bag back, you can take all the food." Serena said although she did not know whether the man understood her words or not.

There was no reply, the man continued to growl while tightly hugging the food inside his lap. She stared at Serena with sharp eyes visible from the sidelines of the elongated hair covering her face. It was also clearly visible as a striking golden-yellow net bead from her pale skin.

"Look," Serena reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out a candy bar, "I'll give you this if you return the bag." He said while thrusting the candy slowly but suddenly made the man in front of him surprised and growled even harder.

"Ah, can't you understand what I'm saying?" He said a little frustrating.

He opened the candy wrapper and put it in his mouth, licked it and showed it again to the man in front of him.

"It's good, if you give me that bag," He pointed to the bag beside the man, "then I'll give this to you." He said while taking out another piece of candy from his pocket.

The man did not budge, his eyes focused on the candy in Serena's hand. So did Serena who started to smile because she saw the man seemed to understand what he said.

Serena was slightly startled as the man in front of her moved forward slowly, one of her hands was still hugging the leftovers and the other one was outstretched to grab the candy that was in Serena's hands.

It was obvious that the man was hesitant and scared, but Serena also came forward slowly holding out the candy carefully.

"It's okay, take it." Saying Serena slowly.

And as fast as lightning, the candy had already moved from his hands. The man picked it up quickly and immediately retreated again away from Serena.

Although he still looked doubtful, the man slowly put the candy in his mouth. She followed what Serena had done just now, just after tasting the candy she became strange.

The man was pecking until the food in his arms involuntarily fell, Serena was also confused as to what had happened to her. But moments later the man took out the candy in his mouth and looked at him with sparkling eyes. Yes, it seems like she likes it because it tastes sweet and delicious.

"Pfft, do you like it?" Serena chuckled as she looked at the scene before her, "how? Yummy right?" Added again.

The man turned his head back towards Serena, his gaze that had been filled with fear and alert now looked calmer.

"J-so.., bagku-"

He had not finished his words, the man had already run away quickly. Leaving Serena who was sculpting astonishment as well as relief.

Whatisit? She just left?

Serena blinked her eyes many times like a confused person.

His eyes looked towards the bag lying on the ground, it was already dirty and disheveled. He picked it up and hurriedly reached into the contents then followed by a sigh of relief.

The photo of her mother still intact without the slightest scuff, Serena immediately hugged her tightly accompanied with a thin smile that was just etched on her lips.

"Sorry, mom...." Slowly flowed.

The girl immediately put a picture of her mother in the bag and rushed to leave, but before that she turned her head again towards the man who had disappeared.

Why I think about it....

Serena stared long in that direction before finally actually leaving.

*****

The scent of Lavender filled the room, while on the way home, Serena picked a few stalks of Lavender flowers to take home and placed them in a vase in her room.

The girl threw her body on the soft mattress, it felt so fresh because she had just taken a shower. He glanced at the dirty bag lying on the dresser, the bag he had not washed because he was too tired.

"Today is so tiring" Serena said, recalling what happened to her in the forest today.

His eyes stared flat at the ceiling of the room, his mind wandering here and there filled with many questions.

"Who is he?" Say it to yourself with a face of astonishment.

Is he a missing person? A madman? Does he live there? Why am I just seeing him now? Should I report it to the police?

There were so many questions in his mind, the girl was lying straight on her back with a serious face while closing her eyes so that it looked like a faint person with a frowned.

All those questions filled his head, but in a few moments everything was up when the sound of the house phone ringing rang.

Serena got out of bed and picked up the phone, "Hello-"

"Hey why didn't you call me?! If I hadn't called you would never have called me, would you?" A man's voice was heard as soon as the phone was picked up.

Serena's face immediately pouted, if she knew who was calling then she would definitely not pick up.

"Hey, do you hear me? Hello-"

"Yes yes I hear you, I'm a little busy and lazy to use this thing (phone)." Serena with flat.

"uh? You're...." There was a disappointed tone from the person on the phone.

The one who calls her now is Serena's best friend since childhood, now she is in another City because she is continuing her education there. Her best friend called frequently to make sure Serena was okay. They were already like brothers, but Serena had always hidden her problem from wanting to be troublesome.

Long enough they chatted by phone before the conversation ended despite the dominant filled by scolding from her best friend because Serena always answered with indifference and not excited.

Serena sighed softly, knowing that her best friend was worried about her. After all, since they were children, he spoke less and listened more when they were together. So there's no need to worry about whether Serena hurts her best friend's feelings or not.

"I miss him...." Saying Serena slowly.

He went back to his room and prepared to go to sleep because it was late at night, he was too tired to realize that outside the situation was boisterous with the people around there who gathered and some police cars passing by.
